Describe 2 or 3 of your personal strengths that will help you be successful on the exchange

program. How have they helped you in the past few years?

Over the years, I’ve tried to get involved in as many volunteering programs as I could, from
taking part in a small group who gathers trash to being in the organization of a medieval
festival. As a result, I’ve met a lot of new people, within a various age range and unique
personalities. Because of this I’ve developed into a very sociable person and easy to
befriend.I find it effortless to conform to the situation and accept change as inevitable. I don’t
believe that fitting in it would be very difficult for me. Every human being has a story to tell
and some lessons to teach, and I’m dying to discover as many as I can.

Almost three years ago, I have became a scout and started to follow the moral values that
I’ve been thought there. The main focus in this organization is on teamwork. Being able to
cooperate with others, to learn to listen and to ask questions are some crucial qualities that I
fortunately own. From my point of view, my best personal strength is that I’ve learned to give
up individual wants for collective good.

And lastly, I want to talk about one of my outstanding character trait. Some of the people
may consider it a quality, others not so much. I’m an extremely curious person. I’ve always
got the urge to explore and find out more about others and as a result I often talk to people
outside my social circle. Genuinely wanting to know more about something makes you open
to unfamiliar experiences, it makes you question the world around you. The realization that
there is so much that I don’t know yet motivates me a lot.
