The Philippine Rice Information System (PRISM) aims to develop a

monitoring and information system for rice production in the country.
the project aims to provide accurate, timely and reliable information on
rice to end users. It has two components: rice mapping and crop health
Based on 2016 2nd semester data (July to December)
monitoring. The crop health component collected information through
surveys at farmer's fields, characterizing the production situations in
the area and to assess the injuries caused by diseases, animal pests and
weeds. Pesticides and fertilizers information are collected throughout
the whole country across 16 regions for every cropping seasons.
