Karma is an concept of an action , work , or an deed an its affect

or consequences.
In Indian religions the term more specifically refers to a
principle of CAUSE AND EFFECT
Often descriptively called the principle if karma wherein the
intent and actions of an individual(cause) influence the future of
the individual (effect). Good intent and good deeds contribute to
good karma and happier re-births whilebad intents and bad
deeds contribute to bad karma and bad rebirths as per some
scriptures,
You have authority or control over the actions you
do, but you have no authority or control over the
results of the actions.
This is a profound nd a universall truth. This is applicable to
everyone and to every action we undertake. We can only act:
We have no control over the results. This sounds like an obvious
statement to make. But how often do we undertake an action
without expectation of what the results will be?
