MARIA VICTORIA GONZALES BELO-KHO

Victoria Belo, more commonly known in the Philippines as Dra. Vicki Belo is an
acclaimed dermatologist and founder of the Belo Medical Group. She was a victim of bullying in
her childhood, which made her more interested in the field of beauty. After earning a Bachelor of
Science degree in Psychology from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 1978, Dra. Belo
enrolled at the University of Santo Tomas for her degree in Doctor of Medicine in 1985. In 1990,
she founded her first clinic at the Medical Towers in Makati and was the first to introduce
liposuction and lasers in the Philippines. She is active in being a lecturer/speaker in several
organizations related to cosmetic surgery, including the American Society of Dermatologic
Surgery (ASDS), the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons (ISCLS), and more.

Vicki Belo is a forward-thinking, ambitious, and determined lady who pursues her goals
with zeal. She was bullied as a child because of her pale complexion and weight, but this setback
encouraged her to work hard in medical school and become a dermatologist.

She feels that, while beauty is essential, so are a good heart and knowledge. She is
straightforward and enthusiastic, and she thinks that everything happens for a reason.

Her life has had its ups and downs, but she believes it is all part of God's purpose. She urges
people to appreciate both the good and the unpleasant. Vicki Belo's life has been better because
of this characteristic.
