QUARTER THIRD

I. OBJECTIVES
A. CONTENT The Learners:
STANDARD Demonstrates understanding of key concepts of combinatorics
and probability

B. PERFORMANCE The Learners:

STANDARD Able to use precise counting technique and probability in
formulating conclusions and making decisions.

C. LEARNING The Learners:

COMPETENCY illustrates mutually exclusive events. M10SP-IIIi-1
solves problems involving probability. M10SP-IIIi-j-1

D. SPECIFIC The Learners can:

LEARNING a. understand the difference between dependent and
TARGET independent events based on the context of the problem,
b. calculate probabilities for scenarios involving
independent and dependent events,
c. determine if two events are independent by checking
rules for independence.

II. CONTENT INDEPENDENT AND DEPENDENT OF EVENTS

III. LEARNING a. References:

MATERIALS Module 9
b. Website
youtube
c. Materials
Laptop, Bondpaper, Chalk, Chalkboard

IV. PROCEDURE
A. INTRODUCTION a. Classroom Management
● Opening Prayer

● Greetings

● Attendance

b. Review
What is mutually exclusive of an event?
What is non-mutually exclusive event?
c. Motivation
Who am I?. The teacher will give an example of an event
and the student will identify if it is mutual or not and what it makes
it so?
B. INTERACTION Discussion:
(Video Presentation about independent and dependent of events.)
Pause (video) and explain the lesson.
Show examples, and followed by board work.
C. INTEGRATION Activity!
The class will be divided into 5 groups, each group will be given illustration board for them to
write down their answer and the teacher will give enough time for them to solve. after the given
time, then they have to show their answer. the total score they get was their number or total
points in this activity.

V. EVALUATION Direction: Solve the following

1. Find the sum of interior angle of a convex hexagon?
2. What is the measure of one exterior angle of a
quadrilateral?
3. What is the measure of one interior angle of a pentagon?
VI. ASSIGNMENT Advance study about Circles.

LIFE-LONG LEARNING How are you going to relate the topicin with the
relationship of the attitude of a person to the people around?
It shows that the attitude of a person represents the interior angle
and the good people around represents the
exterior angle. If person connects with the good people probably
that person will have a STRAIGHT, good and safe road to success.
