These lists of factors are intended to help inspire and guide your PESTEL analysis in each of the six
domains: Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental and Legal. Share them with those
who will be conducting the analysis, and ask them to identify specific relevant examples in the
operational context of the project or initiative that you are considering. Remember, all PESTEL factors
have relevance only in the specific operational context. Therefore, identify the ones that could impact
your organization and focus your analysis on them.
