Dear Parents
Greetings from Notre Dame of Holy Cross School, Salem -140

The Academic Year (2023-2024) reopens and resumes on 7th June, 2023 and
before we restart, if it is our honest intention to thank God for the countless graces and
blessings showered upon on all our students, parents, teachers and well-wishers and all
those who are affectionately connected to our school.

Special Thanks to all the Parents

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the new parents for choosing
our school for your child’s education and we shall strive our upmost to provide the best
that we have in our hearts and minds. We sincerely thank all the other parents on your
decision to admit your (our) children in the school. It is with great pleasure to extend a
warm welcome to both (our old and new parents) to the new academic year 2023-2024.
We believe that you would be kind to offer your continue support and co-operation as
always to support us build and mould our students.

Special Word of Welcome to LKG Students

We are extremely elated, honoured and privileged to happily welcome our LKG
Students. We expressly welcome them for they begin their educational journey with us
in Notre Dame of Holy Cross School. May they truly experience the joy of learning all
through life. May God bless and be with them to assist their learning.

 Commencement of Classes: 7th June, 2023.

 School timings: 08:30 to 12:30 for a week (7th June to 9th June, 2023)
 Regular School timing is from 08:30 a.m. to 03:05 p.m. (Monday to Friday).
 Kindly keep one extra pair of clothes in the school bag.

School Uniform

It is mandatory for all the students to use uniform as prescribed by the school.
Children must be in neat and clean ironed uniform and should not carry expensive
stationery items to the school.

Regularity and Punctuality

We expect all our students to attend all the classes with highest sincerity. Your
frequent late arrivals do affect the school’s daily routine such as attendance, assembly.
We recommend all the students to reach the school at least 5 minutes before we begin
the classes.

School Transport

Students can avail school transportation and the transport routes will be posted in
the ParentsAPP. Parents are requested to contact bus conductors for any immediate
assistance.

Private Vehicles (Van users)

Safety is everything in life. To ensure the safety and security of our students, we
intentionally inform the parents to check the authenticity of the van drivers. We have no
direct control over the van/cab drivers and so you are recommended and requested to be
more vigilant while you appealing them for the transportation of your (our) children to
the school.

Special Class for 10th Std. & 12th Std. Students

The Special classes for 10th Std. & 12th Std. will actively begin from 12th June,
2023 onwards and timetable will be given on the reopening day.
School Decorum

Parents/Guardians/Visitors are kindly reminded to visit the school premises in an

appropriate attire. (Slippers, shorts tract suit to be avoided for maintaining decorum of
the school).

General Instruction

 Students are expected to bring the books according to the timetable.

 Students are informed not bring any valuable articles to the school.
