INSTRUCTIONS

The Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department has
published the NOTICE Dated 23.05.2023 for inviting the applications for
the posts of Member of State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission
and President and Members of District Consumer Disputes Redressal
Commission Under the Consumer Protection Act,2019.

The candidate should appl y for the post through the link
https://ibpsonline.ibps.in/cpdgommay23/ from 23.05.2023. The last date
of application is 06 t h June,2023.

The posts include the clear vacancies as well as the expected vacancies in
the near future which are 112 nos.

The eligibilit y criteria and selection process for these posts shall be as
directed b y Supreme Court in its Judgment dated 03.03.2023.

There will be written test of two papers (Objective & Descriptive t ypes)

Training will be Free of Cost.

Guidance on subject of specified b y Supreme Court of India and other
basic principles of law will be given b y eminent Lawyers, Judges & Law
Facult y.

Dress Code is Compulsory while attending online training.

Eligibilit y/ Qualification :- A person having bachelor’s degree from a recognized
University and who is a person of ability, integrity and standing, and having special
knowledge and professional experience of not less than 10 years in consumer affairs,
law, public affairs, administration, economics, commerce, industry, finance,
management, engineering, technology, public health or medicine shall be treated as
qualified.

One post is reserved for women candidate in each district commission.

The Salary and allowances and terms and conditions of services of President of State
Commission and President and member of District Commission shall be as prescribed in
Maharashtra Consumer Protection (salary, allowance and conditions of service of
President and Members of State Commission and District Commission) Rules, 2021.
