Banyak kesulitan yang dialami para wanita dalam menentukan kontrasepsi

yang sesuai untuk dirinya.Kendala yang sering ditemukan timbul akibat
kurangnya pengetahuan terhadap efek samping KB yang sering kali
mempengaruhi kesediaan ibu untuk menjadi akseptor KB. Tujuan penelitian ini
adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan tentang efek samping KB
Suntik pada ibu terhadap keikutsertaan ibu menjadi akseptor KB Suntik.
Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan
cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua ibu Akseptor KB di
lingkungan Balongrawe RW 5 Kelurahan Kedundung Kecamatan Magersari Kota
Mojokerto per bulan mei Tahun 2022 yakni sebanyak 130 orang. Sampel
penelitian berjumlah 70 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple
random sampling. Variabel penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan tentang efek
samping KB suntik dan keikutsertaan menjadi akseptor KB suntik. Instrumen
yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Analisa data menggunakan Uji Chi Square.
Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa bahwa sebagian besar responden (70,8%)
yang mempunyai pengetahuan baik ikut serta menjadi akseptor KB suntik, dan
sebagian besar responden (63,6%) yang mempunyai pengetahuan cukup tidak ikut
serta menjadi akseptor KB suntik. Hasil uji Chi Square menunjukkan bahwa
pvalue=0,006 atau kurang dari α (0,05) sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima
sehingga ada hubungan Pengetahuan Tentang Efek Samping KB Suntik Terhadap
Keikutsertaan Ibu Menjadi Akseptor KB Suntik Di Kelurahan Kedundung.
Hal ini dapat disebabkan karena pengetahuan akseptor KB tentang efek
samping KB suntik sangat penting sebelum memutuskan untuk menggunakan KB
suntik. Pengambilan keputusan dipengaruhi oleh rasional yang didapatkan dari
pengetahuan, karena pengetahuan merupakan dasar dari Tindakan seseorang.

CORRELATION OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SIDE EFFECTS OF INJECTION

CONTRACEPTION ON MOTHER'S PARTICIPATION IN BECOMING
INJECTION CONTRACEPTION ACCEPTOR IN BALONGRAWE
ENVIRONMENT KEDUNDUNG WARD

Many difficulties are experienced by women in determining the

appropriate contraception for themselves. Constraints that are often found arise
due to lack of knowledge about the side effects of contraception which often
affects the mother's willingness to become a contraception acceptor. The purpose
of this study was to determine the correlation between knowledge about the side
effects of injectable contraception on the mother and the mother's participation in
becoming an injection contraception acceptor.
The design of this research is observational analytic with cross sectional
approach. The population in this study were all mothers of contraception
acceptors in the Balongrawe RW 5 Village, Kedundung Subdistrict, Magersari
District, Mojokerto City as of May 2022, as many as 130 people. The research
sample amounted to 70 people. The sampling technique used is simple random
sampling. The variables of this study were knowledge about the side effects of
Injection Contraception and participation as an Injection Contraception
acceptor. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using Chi Square
Test.
These results indicate that the majority of respondents (70.8%) who have
good knowledge participate as injection contraception acceptors, and most
respondents (63.6%) who have sufficient knowledge do not participate as
injection contraception acceptors. The results of the Chi Square test show that p-
value = 0.006 or less than (0.05) so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that
there is a correlation between Knowledge of Side Effects of Injecting
Contraception on Mother's Participation in Becoming Injection Contraception
Acceptors in Kedundung Village.
This could be because the knowledge of contraception acceptors about the
side effects of injectable contraceptives is very important before deciding to use
injectable contraceptives. Decision making is influenced by rationality obtained
from knowledge, because knowledge is the basis of one's actions.
