Notes
This pattern is worked in spirals, so do not Sl St and CH1 at the end of each
round. Use stitch markers to mark beginning of rounds.
There is no increases or decreases in this pattern, there should always be 16
stitches at the end of each round (you will not count the stitches from the arms
and legs).
The finished size using Premier Parfait Chunky yarn and 5mm hook is about 8
inches long.

Start with Main Body color:
R1: CH9. Starting in 2nd CH from hook, SC8. Turn and SC8 in other side of CH. (16)
R2: SC1, BO, SC4, BO, SC9. (16)
You may need to pop out the BO stitches with your finger.
R3-6: SC around for 4 rounds (16)

R7: SC1, {CH15, SL ST in 2nd CH from hook, then another SL ST in next CH (this is
the "Base CH"). *CH2, SL ST in 2nd CH from hook, then another SL ST in Base
CH.* Rep from * to * once more. SL ST 12 down the arm CH.} SC8 on body, then
Rep from { to } once more. SC7 on body. (16)

*If your arms curl- try loosening your SL ST tension.

At this point we can add facial details. Feel free to put your own spin on your
froggy and give him different facial expressions. I like the grumpy look.

Add safety eyes in the BO stitches

CH a mouth with cotton yarn and secure it down under the eyes
Add blush under eyes
Turn theFroggy inside out and tie together all loose ends

R8-11: SC 4 rounds. (Be sure to move arms outward and SC over the arms, but be
careful not to SC in the CH stitch right before the arms otherwise you'll end up
with 18 stitches.)
R12: SC2, Rep { to }, SC8, Rep { to }, SC6. (16) Go ahead and SC a couple more to
meet with the first leg, this will make fastening a little easier. Cut yarn about a
foot long. Stuff your Froggy.
Hold both sides of the froggy together and you're going to fasten the sides
together. Using your tapestry needle, go back and forth through the outside loops
of each side all the way down. Fasten off and weave end in, and you're done!
