Why did you choose to study in Australia and not in your home country?

I Chose Australia over my home county due to many choices it offers. Foremost I get
practical learning more in Australia than more theoretical methodology in my home
country. There’s a lot of teacher /student interaction and culture exchange to add on my
broadening business skills. Affordable housing, living standard and good quality well
equipped learning environment .with quality education system, Australia offers
competitive and broad based learning facilities.

Australia becomes the top notch choice since it also offers incredible work opportunities
with temporary graduate visa [subclass 485] that allows some students that have
graduated to stay. With this it’s easy for a graduate to work and have hands on skill what
he/she has learned compared to my home country where one can graduate but can stay
over years without any job opportunity. The use of English in both my country and
Australia makes the communication barrier minimal. With this it’s an added advantage
to me as I speak fluent English hence communication is vital in choosing Australia as my
best learning destination.

The internship availabilities for students, the vibrant cities Australia offers, diverse
wildlife and the cultural diversity made me have Australia than my home country.to
learn different cultures away from home is amazing. Making international friends with
different mindsets and capabilities enhance more thinking out of the box in getting new
ideas and opportunities .

Why did you choose to study at your nominated University / College?

James cook university is a world class University having been ranked top 424
universities world wide and am happy they gave me an enrolment opportunity to
undertake my M.B.A program .The coaching program provide me with support and
duration over time.J.c.u also offers various scholarship programs for students to bear
with the cost of international education. The J.C.U Brisbane scholarship and academic
excellence scholarship are the ideas behind me choosing James cook university since it
makes learning with ease and gives concentration on work study.

Interactive learning space with no burden to pick a foreign language since we both use
English as native language hence no language barrier, comfortable student lounge and
good resource centres ,academic learning advisors and good counselling .having
received top mark for employment and 5 star rating of 12 years in a raw shows good
reputation on matters academics .

To arrive at the decision on having my studies at Australia, several factors made me have
that choice irrespective of cost of education incurred.in my home country several
courses lack international recognition. Like the Usiu and Kenyatta university they have
business courses accredited by university education but its lower compared to
Australian acredition.with this the value for money and the competitiveness are not
achieved ,you can’t have more available opportunities without international
accredition.internationally recognized accreditation has a major impact in career
progression and more advantage over local accreditation.

The extended outreach in terms of internships, the well catered student’s welfare and
provision of best student experience in developing employability skills and regional
engagement is of importance and proves to be a better score than Kenyan universities

tuition remain low compared to Uk, has good working hours of up to 40hrs to
supplement living cost .Has amazing housing facilities which are affordable thus comfort
and safety guarantee .it also has good industry exposure platform.

Why did you choose to study this course?

I chose MBA because it’s in line with my education background and career progression
MBA will assist me in getting required skills to fill market expectation and demand .It
broaden my view in the ever changing market dynamic and management skills .it
enhance and impart policy making of a global level in mid-level management .it gives
evaluation of risks, in-corporate strategies into project plans and improve delivery of
service with this the advanced knowledge gained is a prerequisite in management skills
and take my career further.

With an inspiration to work with established companies, which offer graduate entry
trainee program as SAFARICOM Kenya m.b.a will incorporate a room to learn on
operation on financial matters like public fiscal policies and arrangements on private
public policy [ppps]with this I expand my opportunities and give myself more available
options in corporate sustainability and business decision analytics

M.b.a imparts more skills as team building,negotioation,collaboration,effective

communication skills and different ethical leadership styles. The skills are more essential

The course focuses on integrating sustainable economic ,social and environment

business performance methods to new business model. evaluation of context and
identifying performance methods that solve issues. Has both theoretical and technical
knowledge for analysis and business solution marketing
entrepreneurship ,finance ,talent management leadership and hospitality with this it
makes me a critical thinker in analysing and giving solutions to problems .it imparts both
management and leadership skills in everyday running of the company .it gives it an all
roomed person in handling emerging opportunities.

The main topics to be covered are as follows; accounting,

economics,finance,strategy,marketing,operation management and organizational
behaviour

It will provide foundation in business concepts and provide practical opportunities like
internships and group projects .it also build me for both the soft and hard skills such as
management, leadership ,communication and negotiation skills.it will also offer me a
chance to switch between industries ,locations and function thereby opening up global
opportunities.

It also gives me a foundation to start and open up a business after graduation hence I
will implement my entrepreneurial skills in new start-ups,how to grow sales and venture
into new and available markets

. my core ambition is to grow in the ladder of management from Mid-Level to high level
management and work in companies as safaricom Kenya ,deloitte and price water
house coopers . To be a team leader in developing new leadership skills and expertise in
management levels.

with knowledge on financial consultancy, project management and managerial decision

making I will use my ability to work as a consultant both economic and financial and
human resource in staffing ,recruiting and employee motivation. in the world of business
administration [mba] degree salaries are generally higher than salaries of people in
comparable roles who don’t have an MBA.in a study, mba graduates in the us
companies in 2021was projected to be $115,000.with factors as industry, location,
school attended and years of work experience salary vary .as a start up to my career I
expect $100,000-25000 as start-up salary

back home I will work on developing business enterprise both small and medium size
and encourage on venturing new markets savings bonds and treasury bills to encourage
and explore more income portfolios. Offer consultancy in various industrial projections
and work on delivering various management project.

What reasons do you have to return to your home country after you complete your
studies?

The greatest incentive to give back to the society to for the learned to be part and parcel of
building great future for the community by educating on financial literacy ,good savings
incorporating small and medium sized enterprises to global arena. Being think tank for society in
achieving set goals as cost cutting skills, growing profits ever changing financial markets. Also
empowering youth groups and women groups to take up the available opportunities given by
government on investment to grow their portfolio .Act as their advisor.
