PURPOSE 
The purpose of this assignment is to develop learners’ ability to discuss the validity of a 
contract under Malaysian law and to evaluate the implied terms under the Malaysian 
Sale of Goods Act 1957.  
 
REQUIREMENT 
Discuss  the  meaning  and  elements  of  a  valid  contract  under  the  Contracts  Act  1950. 
Evaluate  the  implied  terms  provided  by  the  Sale  of Goods  Act  1957.  Recommend  the 
amendments that need to be done to Malaysian law related to these implied terms.
