Section 1: Summary of the Project Proposal

1.1 Executive summary
Based the data collected by the bureau, zonal and woreda road sectors so far, the terrorist TPLF
group had invaded seven (Wag Hmra, North Wollo, South Wollo, Oromo Nationality, North
Shewa, North Gondar and South Gondar) Zone administration and eastern and northern parts of
amhara rural woreda road and transport office caused damages, looted and burned in road
institutions, zonal and woreda office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture were looted and
damaged by the terrorist TPLF group. Therefore, the zonal and woreda office right now cannot
their regular activities due the absence of office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture.

1.2. Problem Statement

The principal to the intention of local income generation and enhanced work skills among the
participating population however is the overall aim to restore the local road network to facilitate
sustainable socioeconomic recovery in the TPLF invasion affected areas.
1.3. Project objectives
General objective of the project

The main objective of the proposal is to contribute or fulfil the rural transport system and to
improve the service delivery (roads and bridges) and contributes towards the restoration of
office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture and others required office machine and
equipment if so.
Specific objectives of the project

The followings are specific objectives of the project

 Collect the supported office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture

 Dispatch office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture to the damaged zonal and woreda
office based on the level of crises.

 In addition to the material donation the FMP expected to cover 50,000.00 birr for transportation
of office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture to the damaged zonal and woreda.

3.1.1. Why is this Project needed at this Time (Problem Statement)?

At this time this project haves the following advantages; almost all employee today in war
affected areas did not have good working environment due to nonexistence of office Stationary,
Electronic and Furniture and spent their time outside office. There are a lot of things about an
office that can affect a person’s mood and productivity. Thus, fulfilling the damaged office
Stationary, Electronic and Furniture helps the employees More Productivity, Less Idle Time,
Increased Happiness and Health and boost your employee morale and productivity.

3.1.2. What are the activities to be implemented by the project to achieve the specific
objectives?

The main activities to achieve the general and specific objectives of the proposed project are the
following:-

 Preparation of Project proposal

 Preparation of lists of office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture
 Collect the donated office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture
 Dispatch the donated office Stationary, Electronic and Furniture to zones and woreda.
 Facilitate the transportation

3.1.4 Who are the direct beneficiaries and who are partners working in the project and what rules
they do have?

Direct beneficiaries on this project are:-

 Eastern and Northern Amhara woreda and zones, particularly those invaded by terrorist
TPLF group (Wag Hmra, North Wollo, South Wollo, Oromo Nationality, North Shewa,
North Gondar and South Gondar) Zone administration and its entire rural woreda.
 The society/customers/ generally will be the ultimate beneficiaries of the project.

3.1.5 What change is this project intended to achieve?

 Out puts of this project in creating sustainable and good working environment.

 Reduced the idle or waste time

 Increased the morale and productivity of employees
