Half hour before the event, play soft music

Then 5 mins before the event, say “Ladies and gentlemen, we will be starting in about 5
mins….. Please take your seats everyone….. And please switch off your handphones.”

1 minute before the event, say, “Ladies and gentlemen, we will be starting shortly, in just a
minute’s time” Please take your seats, and you are reminded to switch off your
handphones.”

EVENT BEGINS::

Ladies and gentleman…., yang berhormat (Correct Title of VIP/s)..., C.E.O, Ms May……,
C.E.O.O., Ms Janice….Financial Executive, Ms Amber,,,, our beloved principle,
Mr Muruka Nathan…, teachers….., fellow students…. and parents….. WELCOME to ……

[NOTE: Look at the faces of the people you are addressing/smile, as you mention their
names]

Zheng Aik: Welcome to our school musical. We’d hope you’ll enjoy the show cuz we had
months and months of preparations to bring you this play, I’m your host ….

Pasumitha: And I am …(together) and we are you’re hosts for today.

Zheng Aik: I’m sure you’re eager to watch our musical right?

Pasumita: But first, let us welcome our beloved principle to come forward and give us a
speech
(Pass mic to principle)
