1. Who is the end user for the technology/product?
-Selected farmers of rice and corn from Cebu and Laguna, who will test the
effectiveness of the fertilizer.

2. Who is the customer for the technology/product?


-The farmers, because farmers can increase their income because they’ll have better
yield in terms of quality and quantity. Retailers will also earn more due to the better
quality of the products they are reselling, and they can probably get it cheaper from
their main source because of the increased quantity in the harvest. Of course, the
researchers and producers of the fertilizer will also benefit.

3. Why would the customer be willing to pay for the technology/product?


- The customer be willing to pay for the technology/product because farmers will
most likely buy this product, not just rice corn farmers, but also other kinds of farmers
(like vegetable farmers) who are willing to try the fertilizer on their crops.

-Researchers and students, study sites are Coron, Busuanga and Puerto
Prinsesa in Palawan, Ibajay, Batan, and Kalibo in Aklan, and Banate Bay in Iloilo.

2. Who is the customer for the technology/product?


-Local communities, local government units.

3. Why would the customer be willing to pay for the technology/product?


-Although there is no direct economic benefit, the long-term benefit of this
technology is great. It can help preserve and nurture our natural
resources, thus helping different areas. It can benefit the local
government, the tourism industry, the coastal agriculture and businesses,
and the overall lifestyle of the community.
