Outcome Main lesson aim:


By the end of the lesson, the students will have known how to pronounce “-ed” to make the past tense of a
regular verb.
Subsidiary aim:
By the end of the lesson, the students will have broadened their vocabulary about after-school activities.

Language Analysis
Context: Pronouncing past tenses
How context will be set: First, students ask their partner what they usually do afterschool and the reason they like to do it. Next, I ask each
person about their activities and if they did that yesterday. Lastly, I make the conclusion about using the verb in past tense when someone ask
about their activities in the past.

Ask Ss what they did yesterday. Ss write answer on the board. T corrects Ss’ answers in the past tense.
