conserve biodiversity. Some of the existing measures of biodiversity conservation include;
reforestation, zoological gardens, botanical gardens, national parks, biosphere reserves,
germplasm banks and adoption of breeding techniques, tissue culture techniques, social
forestry to minimize stress on the exploitation of forest resources.

... Conversely, one of the regularly most cited definitions for the term is the convention on biodiversity [3] which
described biological diversity as "the variability among living organisms from all sources including, inter alia, terrestrial,
marine and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of which they are part; this includes diversity within
species, between species and of ecosystems." It was also tagged as "a comprehensive umbrella term for the extent of
natures' variety or variation within the natural system; both in number and frequency" [4] . Furthermore, it could be
described as the baseline of a complex network of life upon which humans and other interacting living phenomena
depend [4]. ...

categories of biodiversity benefits vis-à-vis utilitarian benefits, ecosystem services, ethical and moral benefits, and

... Here in this verse, besides indicating prolific, extended food and variety of paradisiacal eating stuff, it is also
mentioned that the food is always available; it doesn't finish. In the holy Quran, the word Fakeha (fruit) is mentioned 14
times as singular and plural, 11 times has come as the food of paradise and closest, while the meat is mentioned 18
times as food which is excluded the prohibition of pork or ham, Baqara (173), Maeda (3), Inaam (145), Nahel (115), and

which are indicating more valuable of fruits to health. In both verses, fruit is in priority because of more enjoyment rather
than other foodstuffs; whereas some people believe that human beings are the consumers of fruits and natural food,
some people believe that human beings are the creator of fruit consumers and the natural food of them are fruits
because using meat is not like getting fruit. ...

... Ecological diversity is the degree at which life forms varies within the context of a particular ecosystem, biome, or
entire planet (Uno et al., 2001). Rawat and Agarwal (2015) defined biodiversity as the variety of different forms of life
on earth, including the different plants, animals, micro-organisms, the genes they contain and the ecosystem they form.
The variation in the different ecological, geographic and geological zones of the world supports various types of floristic
composition. ...

... Gene or genetic diversity is the variation of genetic information contained in all individual plants, animals and
microorganisms that occur in a population of species, while species diversity is the variation of various species or living
organisms. Ecosystem diversity can be interpreted as variations in habitats, biotic communities and ecological
processes in the biosphere (Rawat & Agarwal, 2015; Verma, 2016). Indonesia has a high level of biodiversity supported
by its geographical location with a distribution of islands that classify flora and fauna into three types, namely
