1. Present Simple Tense: Used to describe actions or states that are currently

happening for a certain period of time. Examples: I have been walking to
school for an hour. He has been speaking English for five years.
5. Past Simple Tense: Used to describe actions that happened in the past.
Examples: I walked to school yesterday. He spoke English when he was a
child.
6. Past Continuous Tense: Used to describe actions that were happening in the
past. Examples: I was walking to school when I saw my friend. He was
speaking English when the phone rang.
7. Past Perfect Tense: Used to describe actions that were completed before
something else happened in the past. Examples: I had walked to school
before it started to rain. He had spoken English for a year before he moved to
the US.
8. Past Perfect Continuous Tense: Used to describe actions that had been
happening for a certain period of time before something else happened in the
past. Examples: I had been walking to school for 20 minutes before I realized I
forgot my book. He had been speaking English for three months before he
took the exam.

Practice by changing the sentence to the different tenses and write at least 5 more
sentences like this one.
