SCENARIOS/SITUATIONS:
I. Twitterature is the use of Twitter as a medium for literature such as poems and stories. It includes various
genres, including aphorisms, poetry, and fiction written by individuals or collaboratively. Aphorismic
twitterature are figurative statements of obvious or scientific facts. Poetry twitterature are poems that are written
in 140 characters or more when doing threads, which are tweets replied to by the author of the tweet itself.
Fiction Twitterature is stories and novels expressed through tweet threads.
As the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed our lives, we draw hope and strength from each other.
We can give assurance to those who are negatively affected by this phenomenon by expressing our good
thoughts through kind, soothing and comforting words. “He/She is just a text/chat/twitter away.” By using
technology, specifically, cellular phones, we can be sources of hope and strength through the artful expression
of Twitterature.

MOBILE PHONE TEXT TULA
A particular example of this poem is a tanaga, a type of Filipino poem, consisting of four lines with
seven syllables (7-7-7-7), each with the same rhyme at the end of each line, with an AABB rhyme
scheme. This type of literature originated from Japan, where it has become a popular literary genre that
spread internationally, especially in China, the United States, Germany, and South Africa.
As the COVID-19 pandemic has dramatically changed our lives, we draw hope and strength from each
other. We can give assurance to those who are negatively affected by this phenomenon by expressing
our good thoughts through kind, soothing and comforting words. “He/She is just a text/chat away.” By
