HOW TO APPLY FOR A KOREAN VISA

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of the

Philippines officially launches its online system that enables
travelers to schedule their appointments for visiting the
Embassy to submit their respective visa applications.

At 2pm on Wednesday 14 September 2022, our online system will

open. Since then, you are required to make an appointment to
visit the Embassy for visa application through our online
platform. Without confirmation of the visa appointment made
through the online system, your visit to the Embassy will be
denied. From Thursday 15 September 2022 onwards, the Embassy
will not accept walk-in visits for visa applications.

Ensure that your visa is approved BEFORE booking your flights.

Please note that it will take at least FIVE working days to
complete processing visa applications.

Please take the FOLLOWING STEPS to secure a visa appointment

through our online system.
 STEP 1
Determine your visa type by reading information on visa
types, their respective qualifications and documentation
requirements articulated at the Korean Embassy’s
website
https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/ph-en/brd/m_3277/list.do
Choose the visa type that suits your situation.

Please note that the Philippine diplomatic and official

passport holders are not required to apply for Korean
visas. In case of international travelers, please be
advised to check whether your country has a visa free
agreement or arrangement with Korea through the Visa
Navigator at http://www.visa.go.kr.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A KOREAN VISA

 STEP 2
Once you have determined the correct visa type, you need
to complete the Visa Application Form and prepare all the
required documents listed at the Embassy’s website,
https://overseas.mofa.go.kr/ph-en/brd/m_3277/list.do
Be sure again to carefully read the information on the
documentation requirements for visa application at the
Embassy’s website.

You are also allowed to apply for a Korean tourism visa

through the travel agencies accredited by the Korean
Embassy. Please visit the Embassy’s website (Visa
Announcement) for the list of the Accredited Travel
Agencies.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A KOREAN VISA

 STEP 3
The next step is to schedule your appointment to submit
your visa application through our online system at
https://consul.mofa.go.kr/en/main.do

Please read the Guidelines on How to Schedule Your

Appointment carefully.

To start the process of scheduling your appointment, you

will need:
Your passport number for individual applicants
Name of the staff member designated by the
Accredited Travel Agency
Your mobile phone number and email address

HOW TO APPLY FOR A KOREAN VISA

You are asked to choose time for your appointment in
accordance with the following Time Table for Visa
Appointment.

08:30 Accredited Travel Agencies

09:00 Individual applicants for Filipino spouses of
Korean nationals or family visit
09:30 Individual applicants for tourism visa only
10:30 Agencies for POEA or Seasonal Workers and
individual applicants for official conference,
business, entertainment, sports, studies,
religious visit, foreign diplomat, International
Organization, etc.

Your entry to the Embassy will be denied when you do

not COMPLY WITH the aforementioned Guidelines.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A KOREAN VISA

 STEP 4
When you complete scheduling your appointment to
submit your visa applications, please visit the Korean
Embassy on the date and time of your scheduled
appointment.

You must bring the following documents

A printed or soft copy of your Reservation Confirmation

which can be printed after completing the process of
scheduling
Your completed visa application form
All the required documents
Your Identification Card and passport

Ensure that your visa is approved BEFORE booking your

flights. END.
