Activity Title School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP)

Participants’ Participants to this activity are the eighty-eight (88) beneficiary
Description students of Monterico Elementary School

ACTIVITY
Description The Department of Education (DepEd) and the Baybay City
Division Health Team shall lead in the Implementation of the
School-Feeding Program (SBFP), to contribute to the improvement
of nutritional status and performance of target beneficiaries in our
division.
Monterico Elementary School was one of the recipients in the
School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP). We have fifteen (15)
Beneficiaries in Kindergarten and seventy-three (73) from Grades 1
to 6, we have the total of eighty-eight (88) beneficiaries for this
school year 2022-2023. The feeding started on December 5, 2022
and ended on March 24, 2023

Objectives This activity aims to:


1. Contribute to the improvement of nutritional status and
performance of target beneficiaries
2. Achieve significant nutrition and weight improvement of the
target beneficiaries
HIGHLIGHTS
1. Before the feeding program started, our School Head Mr.
Deodato S. Flandez Jr. announced during the 3rd quarter portfolio the
beneficiaries of this feeding program

2. The School-Feeding Program Coordinator, Mr. Karlvien F.


Recuertas distributed the Parents’ Consent Form and also shared some
health care practices such as hand washing and tooth brushing that
should be promoted.

3. The distribution of Milky-Buns, Rice-Mo and Milk was lead by


the School Head and the Feeding Coordinator. They ensure the quality
of the food and milk (clean sachets, no leak, chilled or frozen, not
spoil) before distributing it to the beneficiaries.

RESULTS
A. Improvement of nutritional status and performance of target
beneficiaries.
B. Significant nutrition and weight improvement of the target
beneficiaries
