PERFORMANCE TASK ESSAY: BASIC CALCULUS

I must get adequate sleep if I want to be healthy generally. Despite knowing that I require at
least 8 hours of sleep to feel rested and reenergized, I frequently only manage to obtain 6 hours
of sleep per night. So, I want to get the most out of my sleep time. I can do this by modifying
some aspects of my everyday schedule. For example, if my preferred wake-up time is 6 a.m., I
may get my ideal bedtime by deducting 8 hours from that time, which equals 10 p.m. I can
make sure that I receive the right amount of sleep by working out when I should go to bed.
Monitoring my sleep efficiency—the proportion of time spent sleeping to total time spent in
bed—is also beneficial. I may increase the number of hours I spend sleeping well and wake up
feeling refreshed by improving the quality of my sleep and making little adjustments.
Let's now discuss reducing my time spent on my phone. I've found that I'm glued to my phone
for more than six hours each day, so it's time to cut back and create time for other hobbies. I
started by utilizing a practical app to monitor my mobile usage to accomplish this. It enables me
to monitor how much time I spend using various phone apps or engaging in different activities. I
may see trends in the data and determine my typical daily cellphone usage by doing so. With
this knowledge, I may make realistic objectives to gradually cut down on my screen time. For
instance, until I hit a more fair limit, I can try to cut back on my smartphone usage by 30% each
week. I can make more time for things that foster productivity, personal development, and a
better balance in my life with a little self-discipline and the aid of some basic math.
