OBJECT PRONOUNS

They them
Object pronouns are used instead of nouns, usually because we already know
what the object is. It makes the sentence easier to read and understand and
avoids repetition. We normally use object pronouns after a verb or a
preposition, they receive the action of the verb.
My friend John lives in New York. Do you know him?. Yes, I do. I studied with
him in the school.
Angela Merkel is a German politician. Do you know her in person?. No, I do not,
but I often see her on tv.
Did you see Michael Jackson in person?. No, I did not, but I saw him on tv.
