The answer lies in the different food preferences that people have. While some may opt for chili due to their love of spicy food, others would rather choose ketchup which is sweeter and non-spicy. The same can be said with regard to genres. While some ‘may enjoy the humour contained within comedies, others may prefer spine-chilling horror movies. Though genres are different from one another in terms of their nature, they may be similar across different entertainment mediums. For example, the romance genre can be found in stories, movies and songs. That being said, there are other (20) instances where this point is not valid.
