Setting

Most of the scenes in the series take place in London where the main character Marc works (at mild-
mannered store museum). And some of the fighting scenes including the ending happen in Cairo and the
desert.

Point of view
The kind of point of view shown in the movie is first person, where the story opens with Steven Grant,
who is one of Marc Spector’s many alters. They focused on the main character which became successful
because they not only introduced him, but they made the viewers surprised about what was happening
with the main character.

Theme
Based on the director of the series, it covers themes of dissociative identity disorder, Egyptian
mythology, love, and the eradication of evil from the world.

Diction
The main character speaks in cockney dialect with his British accent that seems to be questionable,
while the rest speaks naturally.

Image
London, which is the setting in the story, is physically a polycentric city, with many core districts and no
clear hierarchy among them. The main character Marc Spector has different personalities through his
dissociative identity disorder and with the help of supporting characters he was able to understand
himself and solve the conflicts.

Symbol
Moon Knight itself, represents the person who has dissociative identity disorder who was Marc Spector.
His costume symbolizes Konshu, the god of moon and it wants to say “'Rise and live again as my fist of
vengeance”.
