TENSE
The present continuous tense is used:

 To show an action that is going on at the moment of speaking.

Eg:

He is working at the moment.

She is bathing now.

They are exercising now.

Look! The dog is eating a lizard.

 To show a continuous action happening now but not necessarily at the moment.

Eg:

We are taking karate lessons.

I am still reading the story book.

They are studying for their exams.
