CHAPTER 7 – THE TEMPLATE FOR YOUR LIFE

INTRODUCTION
I am glad that you’re now baptized with the
Holy Ghost. If you have not been baptized
with the Holy Ghost, prayerfully study this
book Baptism of the Holy Ghost: Easy Ways to
Be Filled with the Holy Spirit and Obtain the
Gift of the Spirit as it contains all the guide
you will need on how to be filled with the Holy
Ghost with the evidence of speaking in
tongues. It is my strong belief in the promises
of God that he will baptize everyone that asked
of him (Luke 11:13).

For those who have been baptized, I believe

that you enjoyed speaking in tongues, the new
language of the Spirit. But I feel it is necessary
for me to tell you some of the profound things
that would be happening to you.

Interestingly, some believers aren’t fortified

with this kind of knowledge right before they
were baptized in the Holy Ghost with the
evidence of speaking in tongues. So many
believers after speaking in tongues for a short
while soon stopped because they didn’t know
all the changes that were happening to them.
But count yourself blessed because it is the
entrance of the word that brings light, and I
trust God that as the word enters your spirit
man through this present book you are now
reading, it would lead to a spiritual
transformation.

Speaking in tongues is one of the greatest gifts

that was given to man since Jesus ended his
ministry on earth and handed over everything
to the coming of the Holy Spirit. And believers
today must know, that the very day you give
your life to Christ, you become entitled to be
baptized with the power of the Holy Ghost.
There are many tongue speakers who are
experiencing diverse encounters in their
spiritual life. They aren’t aware that these
series of encounters are part of the baptism of
the Holy Ghost. Since the believer isn’t
prepared, he is saluted with strange things.
However, if he has been equipped through
preparation, nothing would look new. The
encounters will be expected events.

The moment the Holy Ghost comes into your

life, there are certain things that must be
present. And when those things begin to
announce themselves people must see it. It
was for this reason that this book was birthed.
It is a common guide to the believer who is
experiencing his first transition from the
ordinary prayer language which could be the
English language, Spanish language, Italian
language, or any other language of the speaker
to the language of the spirit. Many people
after the first day that they spoke in tongues
experienced diversities of the supernatural.
However, due to the non-availability of light,
they did not understand that what they were
experiencing after they first spoke in the
spiritual language is what I would term, “The
7 Things That Must Happen To you After You
Speak Your First Tongues.”
I have found these biblical principles of
universal application since the word of God
does not lie. And every believer who genuinely
encounters God and is baptized in the Holy
Ghost with the evidence of speaking in
tongues must experience some of these things.
This is because each time the Holy Ghost
comes upon the life of a believer, he comes
with a myriad of spiritual gifts and deposits.
For many who have limited the power of the
Holy Ghost to speaking in tongues alone, they
aren’t simply aware of the deposit of the spirit
of God when he comes upon a vessel.

Wasn’t it the same Holy Ghost that hovered

over the waters and the earth took form? Or is
there a separate Holy Ghost from the one that
ushered in the creative power of God? If
indeed it is the same Holy Ghost, and he is
still at work today, why then will a child God
just believe that the reason why the Holy
Ghost came into his life is to speak in tongues
only! (Genesis 1:2) What a terrible
understanding of the Holy Ghost! No wonder
the believer today is often walking in defeat
not as the victorious Christians of old!

The first day you speak in tongues there are

certain things you will begin to see. The time
of the manifestation of those things may vary
from believer to believer, but we are certain
that the encounters must happen. They are
commonplace after speaking in tongues for
the first time.
The believer must be armed with this
knowledge so that when he begins to see the
outcome of the baptism of the Holy Ghost
with evidence of speaking in tongues, he isn’t
taken aback. I’m not just speaking from what
the Bible says alone, I have seen this
manifested in the lives of many believers
around the world. Even in my own life, I have
also seen this manifested. It is a word made
flesh in my life, people around me and in the
lives of the Saints of the living God around the
world. You are not exempted from this
necessity of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
Been a believer in Christ Jesus, you are
entitled to this.
It is amazing to know that God has already
promised that these things will happen to your
life when you first speak in tongues. That is
why the Bible says in the book of Acts 1:8 “But
ye shall receive power,” I’ve come to realize
that this power that God speaks about is an
embodiment of the Godhead. That is the
reason why believers who speak in tongues
will begin to see remarkable differences in
their spiritual life. I pray that this book would
be a huge blessing to your spiritual life and
help you to know that the tongues that you are
now speaking isn’t just a mere spiritual
language, but a powerful weapon of
transformation. I encourage you to keep
speaking in tongues and grow in the spirit.
I have therefore written this small book for
you to prepare you for some of the marvellous
experiences that are about to happen in your
life. I have other books I have written with the
links provided in the last page. I hope you are
blessed by this book! Please, do not hesitate to
share this book with anyone who has just been
baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence
of speaking in tongues. The book will be of
immeasurable help to those who have been
speaking in tongues for a long time. You can
also write to me using the email provided in
this book. I would love to hear from you. God
bless you!
CHAPTER 1 – WORD
CLARITY
The word of God is the most essential need of
man. You need a steady diet of the word to be
able to maintain your spiritual life. When a
decline in word intake is experienced, the
spirit of that man will be liable to satanic
attacks.

It was this understanding that made Job one

of the Old Testament Saints to state that: “I
have esteemed the words of his mouth more
than my necessary food.” (Job 23:12). We do
have a lot of lessons to learn from this Saint of
the living God. He had attached a high sense
of value to the word of God more than the
food he ate. Since he has a high sense of value
for the word of God, it would be right to say
that Job prefers to study the word of God
every day before he ate either breakfast, lunch,
or dinner. He had a clear understanding of the
power of the word of God. He knew that the
word of God sustains the spirit of man, and
the man without the word is like someone who
has been going on a hunger strike for a long
period of time. If such a hunger strike
continues, he may die from starvation.
The Holy Ghost knows that man cannot live
without the word of God. From the day you
first speak in tongues, the Holy Ghost begins
the process of digesting the word of God
which you have read into light. It is light that
stimulates spiritual transformation in the lives
of men. The Bible says the letter of the word
kills. It is only the spirit that has the capacity
to give life. Unless the word of God enters into
your spirit man, you can’t be changed. The
letter of the word passes through your eyes or
your ears depending on whether you are
reading the word or listening to the word.
Gladly, there are several means through which
our spirit man can be steadily fed with the
word of God.
The essence of your Bible study is to get the
spirit behind the word which is the power that
changes the heart of men. Until that happens,
you are merely reading letters.

Ezekiel 2:2

And the spirit entered into me when he spake

unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I
heard him that spake unto me.

As you study the word let this be a guiding

principle. Thank God that the Holy Ghost
performs this ministry in our lives. He ensures
that the word we read is processed into light
in our hearts. So that the word of God can be
profitable to our lives.

The first thing that God made at creation was

light. The word of God is the carrier of light.
The creation of light at the beginning is to let
us know that the word of God must occupy the
first place in our lives. Every moment the
pages of the bible is opened, it is an encounter
with light (revelation from the word of God)
that awaits you. In the order of creation, God
decided to make light first. It should be the
ultimate pursuit of our lives. Curiously, the
light of the word of God can illuminate every
area of our lives. If you are in business, a
doctor, an attorney, an IT personnel, or even
regular job, a student, or whatever type of
profession that you belong in, there’s a word
or revelation from the bible that covers that
area. If you can spend time digging deep into
the bible to uncover the hidden mysteries of
the word of God; the Holy Spirit feeding your
spirit man, you will lead an exceptional life in
your career.
God knows that light from his word will be the
source of our lives on earth.

Genesis 1:3

And God said, let there be light and

there was light:
The first thing God created was light because
the light is essential to the spirit of man. While
physical food may sustain the body, what the
spirit of man needs is not bread and butter,
but the word of God. That is why the Bible
says man shall not live by bread alone but by
every word that proceeds from the mouth of
God (Matthew 4:12).
Your spirit man needs what was authored by
the Holy Ghost – the Bible. You were not there
when the Bible was written. But the Holy
Spirit was. As a matter of fact, he was the one
that inspired holy men to write the Bible.
Being the author of the word of God, he knows
the meaning of every dot and comma in the
Bible.
2 Peter 1:20-21

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of

the scripture is of any private
interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old

time by the will of man: but holy men
of God spake as they were moved by
the Holy Ghost.

If you want to have a full understanding of the

Bible, you will need the author of it – the Holy
Ghost. You mustn’t begin to read your Bible
without inviting the Holy Spirit to help you.
You need to kneel down and pray, “Holy
Spirit, I pray that you open my eyes to see
wondrous things from the word.” You will be
surprised by the kind of things you will see.
Bless God that you have the Holy Ghost in
your life. So one of the things that would
happen to you from now on is that the Holy
Ghost will feed you with the word God which
is the food for growth. Revelation from the
word of God is the giver of God’s character
and nature. You can never be like God unless
you begin to get his nature and his character
from the word of God. Hallelujah, you don’t
have to worry because you have the Person
who gives revelation in your life – the Holy
Ghost.

Whenever I hear people saying that the Bible

is difficult to read, I simply laugh. They are
reading the letters of the word. When they
hear different names in the Bible they get
confused. “Oh, they would cry, this book is too
old for me to read.” They are concerned with
the letters and because they don’t have the
owner of the word in their lives, the whole
Bible becomes too confusing to understand. If
they possess the Holy Spirit, they will change
their confession, “oh, how marvellous it is to
read the holy Bible.”
The Holy Spirit is the only one that can give
you a full picture of the Bible. Head
knowledge won’t either will the knowledge of
those who often find criticising the Bible a
pleasure.
Word clarity for every child of God is a
necessity. You can’t understand the nature of
God unless you have understood his word.
The Holy Spirit begins by teaching you the
nature and character of God through the
revealed word.
Your attitude when opening the pages of the
Bible matters a lot. Don’t just open the Bible
like you‘re opening the pages of a novel. The
Bible has life in it. Therefore, when opening its
pages you will require a very different
mentality to be able to get light from it.

You need to always imagine that each time

you open the pages of the Bible, God is always
standing by your side to speak to you directly
into your ears. By the time you develop this
kind of approach to the Bible, you will notice
that the level of revelation you get from the
word will change. The Bible is not just a mere
book. The Bible says it contains both the spirit
and life (John 6:63). The Bible also contains
life and death. If the Bible contains all of these
things, then do not open it like an ordinary
book.

The Psalmist gives us a blueprint of what to do

before we open the word of God.

Psalms 119:18
Open thou mine eyes, that I may
behold wondrous things out of thy law.

That should be our approach towards the

word of God. Before you open the pages of the
Bible, ensure you pray and ask God to show
you something new from the word of God.
In the book of Matthew chapter 9, we often
pray to the Lord to give us our daily bread. So
it means that God has bread for us each day.
Beloved of the Lord, if the Lord can give us
our daily bread then he can also supply our
spiritual bread daily.

As human beings, people eat food every day.

You won’t deny yourself the privilege of eating
food in a day just because you had breakfast
the previous day. If you do that you will be
very hungry. This same principle applies to
the spiritual as well. You need to eat every day
to be able to sustain your spirit man. Your
spirit man will be fed with the right diet to
function the way it was designed to if the Holy
Ghost interprets the word of God for you.

The Holy Spirit you have received into your

life is the giver of this diet. So the word of God
was given by his inspiration, you will need him
to teach you the word. The problem is many
people are seeking to understand the Bible
without the Holy Ghost.
This is an impossible task!

It is the same as trying to operate a new

machine that is very complex without the aid
of the operator’s manual. For example, if you
purchased a very complex phone, won’t you
need the manufacturer’s manual to operate it?
Surely you will. In the world today, people
aren’t interested in knowing anything about
Jesus Christ nor his Spirit. Yet they want to
understand what the Bible means. A full
understanding of the Spirit of the Bible is
given by the Holy Ghost. He is the one that
can give you a complete interpretation of the
Bible. Without him, I feel so sorry for those
who are trying to know the Bible without the
Holy Ghost.

The proper thing is to have Jesus Christ as

their Lord and saviour. After getting saved,
then they are baptized in the Holy Ghost with
the evidence of speaking in tongues. The
moment the Holy Ghost makes an entrance
into their lives, word clarity becomes their
portion. Until that is done, reading the Bible
and getting the spirit of the word that changes
the heart of man will be impossible.
I have seen many people making fruitless
effort to interpret certain portions of the Bible,
yet the interpretation is so off. They’re relying
on their intelligence to unlock revelation that
has been coded by the spirit of God.
Apparently, if the Holy Ghost was present in
their lives, they would have just invited him to
interpret the Bible for them.

Praise God because you are now filled with the

Holy Ghost. He is present in your life, and I
trust the Lord that he will perform his
ministry of interpretation of the word in your
life. Hallelujah! Word clarity is now your
portion in Jesus, name! Shout a big amen!
CHAPTER 2 – PRAYER
Have you ever notice anything?
Certainly yes.
A change in your prayer life.

Prior to your baptism, one apparent problem

that you might have seen with your life is the
lack of lasting hours of prayer. As soon as
you’ve exhausted your prayer points, you often
feel tired. Even if you have 100 prayer point to
pray that day, you will notice that the moment
you prayed for sometimes, lethargy sets in.
Let’s say your prayer language is English, and
you have prayed all your prayer points on that
day you will notice that the moment you
finished all the list you have, you lose interest
in praying.
There are some believers who are still holding
on to their language of praying when they
should have allowed the Holy Ghost to
overflow them with the gift of tongues. If they
have allowed the gift of the Holy Ghost
overflowed their lives, they would have been
able to pray for longer hours. But rather, they
prefer to hold on to their prayer language
which could be English or any form of spoken
language. So, in about an hour of praying,
they’ve exhausted their prayer points. They
are not aware that it is possible to blast in
tongues for up to eight hours without being
tired.

When I see believer struggling to pray

especially in tongues I feel that they haven’t
taken full advantage of their redemptive
benefits in Christ Jesus. But now your prayer
life does not need to suffer anymore. With the
gift of tongues that you have, your prayer
should be effortlessly done. You can now pray
for as long as you choose. I have seen that
demonstrated practically in the life of many
believers who were prayer strugglers but when
the gift of the Holy Ghost made contact with
their lives I saw a difference.
You too will see a difference in the prayer life
you will now lead. The difference between you
before the baptism of the Holy Ghost, and you
after the baptism of the Holy Ghost you have
been given the power of prayer.

When I do my teachings, I love to rely on the

Bible while using examples from my own life
and the lives of saints around the world to
communicate the teaching.

Do you remember Peter in the Bible! If you

don’t, then I recommend you do a small study
of the gospels, (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)
and then come back and continue reading this
book!

Before their baptism in the Holy Ghost, the

disciples were prayer strugglers. They couldn’t
pray for even one hour! Jesus needed their
help at a certain time. His soul was sorrowful
because of the cross he was about to
experience. He needed someone who could
pray with him. So he took the three sons of
Zebedee – Peter, James, and John.

Matthew 26:37-47
And he took with him Peter and the two
sons of Zebedee, and began to be
sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is
exceeding sorrowful, even unto death:
tarry ye here, and watch with me.

39 And he went a little further, and fell

on his face, and prayed, saying, O my
Father, if it be possible, let this cup
pass from me: nevertheless not as I
will, but as thou wilt.

40 And he cometh unto the disciples,

and findeth them asleep, and saith
unto Peter, What, could ye not watch
with me one hour?

41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not

into temptation: the spirit indeed is
willing, but the flesh is weak.
42 He went away again the second
time, and prayed, saying, O my Father,
if this cup may not pass away from me,
except I drink it, thy will be done.

43 And he came and found them asleep

again: for their eyes were heavy.
44 And he left them, and went away
again, and prayed the third time,
saying the same words.
45 Then cometh he to his disciples, and
saith unto them, Sleep on now, and
take your rest: behold, the hour is at
hand, and the Son of man is betrayed
into the hands of sinners.

46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at

hand that doth betray me.

Jesus was a man when he was on earth and

could feel pains just like we do (Hebrews
2:19). I pity believers who feel that they are
always strong. That they needed no one to
pray for them or no one at all to encourage
them. You can’t be always strong all the time.
There are times that even the courageous will
need someone to encourage him. Jesus
needed the apostles, yet they failed him at the
most critical moment.

I say that the reason was obvious! These

disciples were still awaiting their Prayer
Partner, The Holy Ghost. He wasn’t present in
their lives. How differently their approach
would have been if they had the Holy Ghost on
that night that Jesus needed their prayers?
That would be putting the cart before the
horse. Until Jesus was crucified, died and was
buried and later resurrected, the Holy Ghost
couldn’t be given to men.
After they first spoke in tongues, one
remarkable thing shone throughout. They
simply became prayer warriors. Peter that
Jesus begged to join him in prayer was
transformed and so were the other Apostles
(see Acts 4:31)

Herod tried one day to kill Peter. The disciples

who couldn’t pray before have been
transmuted to prayer men. They gathered
together and prayed without ceasing! How
amazing! These were the same people who
couldn’t pray for an hour on the night their
Master, Jesus needed their intercession the
most, yet they are now praying without
ceasing. Herod killed James. When he saw
that it pleased the people of the Jews, he took
Peter. Herod thought that he would get away
with it. How wrong he was! Having killed
James, the disciples weren’t ready for another
major loss to strike the church. They just
prayed! And the fire of their prayer triggered
angelic deliverance that led to the release of
Peter.
Acts 12:1-4

1 Now about that time Herod the king

stretched forth his hands to vex certain
of the church.

2 And he killed James the brother of

John with the sword.

3 And because he saw it pleased the

Jews, he proceeded further to take
Peter also. (Then were the days of
unleavened bread.)

4 And when he had apprehended him,

he put him in prison, and delivered him
to four quaternions of soldiers to keep
him; intending after Easter to bring
him forth to the people.
But the disciples prayed. Prayer strugglers
became prayer warriors! Thank God you will
be one after you first speak in tongues.

Acts 12:5

Peter therefore was kept in prison: but

prayer was made without ceasing of
the church unto God for him.

And when they prayed, something happened.

Acts 12:7-18

7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord

came upon him, and a light shined in
the prison: and he smote Peter on the
side, and raised him up, saying, Arise
up quickly. And his chains fell off from
his hands.

8 And the angel said unto him, Gird

thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And
so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast
thy garment about thee, and follow me.

9 And he went out, and followed him;

and wist not that it was true which
was done by the angel; but thought he
saw a vision.
10 When they were past the first and
the second ward, they came unto the
iron gate that leadeth unto the city;
which opened to them of his own
accord: and they went out, and passed
on through one street; and forthwith
the angel departed from him.
11 And when Peter was come to himself,
he said, Now I know of a surety, that
the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath
delivered me out of the hand of Herod,
and from all the expectation of the
people of the Jews.
12 And when he had considered the
thing, he came to the house of Mary the
mother of John, whose surname was
Mark; where many were gathered
together praying.
13 And as Peter knocked at the door of
the gate, a damsel came to hearken,
named Rhoda.

14 And when she knew Peter's voice,

she opened not the gate for gladness,
but ran in, and told how Peter stood
before the gate.

15 And they said unto her, Thou art

mad. But she constantly affirmed that
it was even so. Then said they, It is his
angel.
16 But Peter continued knocking: and
when they had opened the door, and
saw him, they were astonished.

17 But he, beckoning unto them with

the hand to hold their peace, declared
unto them how the Lord had brought
him out of the prison. And he said, Go
shew these things unto James, and to
the brethren. And he departed, and
went into another place.

The power of the Holy Ghost which you are

privy to through the baptism of the Holy
Ghost is more than just speaking in tongues. It
can deliver and set people free! Hallelujah!
Acts 1:8

But ye shall receive power, after that

the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and
ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part
of the earth.

When the Holy Ghost comes upon the life of a

man, he often comes with other giftings. That
is why a believer who has been given the gift of
tongues can pray for longer hours. Right now
in your life, the power to pray is available.
Adam and Eve had the nature and character of
God at creation. Sadly, when they decided to
violate the injunction of God concerning the
fruit in the garden, this life was greatly
affected. This clear violation of God’s
commandment became a problem for
mankind. Glory to God for the Cross of
Cavalry has restored that which we have lost.
Man is still bedevilled by an infirmity –
knowing what and how to pray.

Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our
infirmities: for we know not what we
should pray for as we ought: but the
Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be
uttered.

No matter how spiritual you have become, you

can’t take away that infirmity. It is a problem
of the fall of man and unfortunately, we can’t
do anything about it. Thank God we have the
Holy Spirit who can help us to cure that
infirmity.

Knowing what to pray

It will surprise you if God is to open your eyes

to see all that the enemy, the devil is planning
against you. You will see thousands and
thousands of plans they orchestrated against
your life. How would you be able to pray that?
How would you be able to sit down and put all
of that in English?
If your language is Spanish, how would you be
able to pray that prayer point in Spanish? It’ll
be overwhelming rights? Even the knowledge
of that plan alone can’t come from your
spirituality. It will come from the Holy Spirit
who gives you an in depth knowledge about
the plans of the devil against your life. That is
one of the ministries of the Holy Ghost in the
life of the believer. He reveals to you what is to
come and tells you about the future plans of
the enemy against your life (John 16:13).
It is one of the ministries of the Holy Ghost to
lead you about what to pray. He may tell you
that expressly, or lay it on your heart. The
Holy Ghost may be saying, “Son, pray against
the spirit of the death.” You couldn’t have
known all this has been planned against your
life unless the Holy Spirit, who is the master of
understanding futuristic things tells you.

How to pray

The revelation will lack potency if there is no

direction of what to do with it. You can only
do that with the help of the Holy Ghost who
tells you how to pray. Some Saints completely
ignored the counsel of our greatest helper, the
Holy Spirit that is why there are so many
casualties in spiritual battles. They may have
known the problem, but do not know how to
handle it completely in the place of prayer
because the Holy Ghost wasn’t there at all.

Therefore, the losses are inevitable. The

ministry of Jesus Christ on earth was
characterized by direction on how to pray.
Jesus was not wasting his time when he gave
his disciples templates on how to pray. And
some believers may read the book of Matthew
6:9 without actually understanding the
spiritual implications of that scripture.

If Jesus could give his disciples a template for

what to pray about, which for all intents and
purposes, we may say a pattern of prayer.
How dare we ignore the ministry of the Holy
Ghost in this present age! We have forgotten
that the reason why Jesus left the earth was so
that the Holy Spirit can continue with the
same work he was doing. Even Jesus himself
said that unless he goes away the comforter
will never come.

John 16:7

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is

expedient for you that I go away: for if
I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will
send him unto you.

It is your submission to the Holy Ghost that

will eliminate all the infirmity that we have
discussed above. You will be able to handle
these at the place of prayer because the Holy
Spirit would tell you what to pray about. So, if
you want to know what to pray about, if you
want to know how to pray, or if you want to
know what you should pray then the ministry
of the Holy Ghost can’t be ignored in your life.

What you should pray

I remember a story from a prominent man of

God in Nigeria, Pastor E. A. Adeboye how they
prayed for a man to receive the baptism of the
Holy Ghost. That man was baptized, but he
strangely prayed in tongues for 3 months.
Until he had to go and ask God to release the
man.

If I tell you what is the immediate need of

your life now you will probably answer me on
the strength of the physical things that you
can see. It could be finances, health, school,
moving to a new location, etc.

Those are the things you can see with your

naked eyes. You are right if you base all the
prayer points on what you can see. However,
there are many spiritual needs of your life that
you aren’t aware of. This is where the power of
the Holy Ghost is demonstrated in your life.
He just simply whispers into your spirit man
what spiritual need you should pray about. I
have seen that in my life when I would come
into the presence of God with my prayer
points; the Holy Ghost would tell me what to
pray about.

As such points, I bow to the leading of the

Holy Ghost and pray according to his
direction. He may make me understand what I
am praying about in my spirit, at other times,
he may not. I realized later that those things
the Holy Spirit led me to pray about were the
critical needs of my life at that moment.

It might not be evident to my physical eyes,

but it is the most important thing I should be
praying about at that particular season. I
never had that kind of thing happened to me
until when I got baptized with the Holy Ghost.
After my baptism, this became a normal
experience for me. And I am glad that I was
experiencing the things that normally happen
to all believers after they first speak in
tongues.
Groaning

Groaning in the spirit is a point of speaking

words that can’t be decipherable to you or to
the physical human senses. If you haven’t
started experiencing that right now, it will
happen sooner than you can imagine.

The original Greek word for groaning means

stenagmos. It is a form of murmuring,
sighing, or making a prayer that can’t be heard
audibly. From Scripture, we will see that Jesus
groaned many times in the spirit where he
could not use words to express himself to his
father. You see Jesus had the Holy Ghost upon
him just like we do. He had the frailties of
man. So, he had to learn how to depend on the
Holy Ghost and fulfil the mandate of God on
his life while he was ministering on the face of
the earth.

Acts 10:38

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with

the Holy Ghost and with power: who went
about doing good, and healing all that were
oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

In the book Acts 10:38 you will see that God

the father had to anoint Jesus with the Holy
Ghost and power before he could do any good
thing.
It is a confirmation to us that he had all the
weaknesses of man. He needed the power
from the Holy Ghost to do what he is
supposed to do.

Luke 3:22-23
And the Holy Ghost descended in a
bodily shape like a dove upon him, and
a voice came from heaven, which said,
Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am
well pleased.

See also Matthew 4:19

The Holy Ghost descended upon him in a
bodily form like a dove. Situations sometimes
make Jesus groan in the spirit where the
expression of words may not be apt for the
moment. You will see in the book of John
11:38 where a friend of Jesus died for the
period of four days.

John 11:38

Jesus therefore again groaning in

himself cometh to the grave. It was a
cave, and a stone lay upon it.

When Jesus told them to roll away the stone,

Lazarus’s sister, Martha objected that her
brother would be stinking after four days.
Jesus insisted that the stone should be rolled
away. The Bible says Jesus again groaning in
the spirit. It means that Jesus had been
groaning in the spirit. This obviously wasn’t
his first time.
The death of his friend, Lazarus meant so
much to him. He wanted the father to hear his
prayer immediately. So he groaned. The
FATHER answered the prayers of Jesus
because, in verse 44, we saw Lazarus came
forth from the grave. The Holy Spirit that the
father had poured on the life of Jesus
empowered him to groan in the spirit.

As a child of God, situations, trials, issues of

life, and battles may overwhelm you. That is a
perfect time to groan in the spirit. You can
utter the prayers within yourself like what
Jesus did in the book of John 11. When Jesus
was groaning, his disciples did not even hear
him. It was inward.

Groaning is a usual occurrence for believers

after they spoke their first tongues. The Holy
Ghost helps you to reach the depth of God
when you groan. That is why the Bible says he
helps our infirmities.

The Scriptures is filled with Old Testament

saints who groaned in the spirit. These saints
operated under a lesser covenant ratified by
the blood of bulls, cows, and sheep. Yet they
groaned to heaven and their answers came.

Acts 7:34

I have seen, I have seen the affliction of

my people which is in Egypt, and I
have heard their groaning, and am
come down to deliver them. And now
come, I will send thee into Egypt.
Psalms 102:5

By reason of the voice of my groaning

my bones cleave to my skin.
We are operating under a higher covenant
sealed by the blood of Jesus which speaks better
things than the blood of Abel. We will
experience this in a higher degree as we allow
the baptism of the Holy Ghost and his power
to fully manifest in our lives.

Before my baptism in the Holy Ghost, I have

never known what groaning means. As I
progressed in tongues-speaking, I groaned
several times when my words were inadequate
to convey the depth of my distress. I heartily
welcome you to the realm of prayer which is
expressed in groaning that words can’t
fathom. Praying in tongues will unlock many
spiritual gifts, power, and fire which the Lord
himself has graciously given to you.
CHAPTER 3 – GIFTS OF
THE SPIRIT
Any healing done without the power of the
Holy Spirit is witchcraft. The difference
between miracle and magic is a delicate thin
line – the presence of the Holy Spirit and his
power. The Holy Spirit is the giver of the gifts
of the Spirit and on the day you first spoke in
tongues, the vault of spiritual gifts will be
opened unto you.

These spiritual gift will manifest in your life

according the purpose of your creation. The
spiritual gift is what God has given you. The
Holy Ghost pours his fire into the gifts. After
all, he is the one the Bible said will, “baptized
you with fire” and the fire is needed to stir the
gifts and the Holy Spirit will guide you in
operating the gifts.
This is what makes the gift of the Holy Spirit
his own gifts. There was a time that the
Pharisees verbally attacked Jesus that his
spiritual healing was done by a demonic spirit.
Jesus’s response gives us the understanding
that without the Holy Ghost, the power that is
being demonstrated could be demonic. In
Matthew 12:23 – 25 Jesus explained to the
Pharisees that if he cast out demons by the
Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has
come to them.

Matt 12:23-26

23 And all the people were amazed, and

said, Is not this the son of David?
24 But when the Pharisees heard it,
they said, This fellow doth not cast out
devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of
the devils.

25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and

said unto them, Every kingdom divided
against itself is brought to desolation;
and every city or house divided against
itself shall not stand:
The baptism of the Holy Ghost opens up your
life for other seismic reactions – the gift of the
Holy Ghost. The tongues may sound small to
your human understanding, but it is like the
last wind that most blow for a mega tsunami
to have a destructive capacity – wiping out a
whole city.

The disciples of Jesus before they spoke their

first tongues couldn’t do any miracle.
Someone brought his son who was been
tormented by a demonic spirit in the book of
Matthew 17:20-22. All the disciples gathered
together, joining their faith but they couldn’t
cast the demon out of the boy. They were all
shocked why they could not cast the demon
out of the boy, so they met Jesus for further
explanation and clarification – “why could not
we cast him out?”

Their status witnessed an evolutionary change

after the event that happened in Acts 2. After
they spoke their first tongues, tremendous
results poured forth. Peter’s gifting of healing
bottled up inside him seemed to have found
the Medias touch.

Suddenly, everywhere they went, there was

power and deliverances that took place.
Peter’s acceleration was great to the extent
that handkerchiefs from his body were
performing miracles. The book of Acts 5:15
records the exploit that Peter the Apostle did.

Acts 5:15

Insomuch that they brought forth the

sick into the streets, and laid them on
beds and couches, that at the least the
shadow of Peter passing by might
overshadow some of them.

One of the disciples who was part of those who

made concerted efforts to heal that boy
possessed by a demon went to Samaria in the
book of Acts 8 and overturned the entire city
to the extent that others who heard the news
that Samaria had been conquered by the
preaching of the gospel, came to ensure that
Acts 2 became the experienced of these new
converts. The disciples wanted these new
proselytes to experience what they have been
experiencing after they had spoken their first
tongues. We saw that in the book of Acts 8:15:

“who when they were come down,

prayed for them, that they might
receive the Holy Ghost:”

The disciples wanted what happened to them

to be the experience of these people. There
was a sister from Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
who had joined our Facebook class for the
baptism of the Holy Ghost. I put a call to her
and asked her if she was ready for me to pray
over her for the baptism of the Holy Ghost. At
first, she was hesitant. After careful thought,
she decided that I should pray for her for the
baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence
of speaking in tongues. I prayed with her and
soon the sister was praying and blasting in
tongues. She later testified that she sang in
tongues. The amazing thing that happened to
her after she first spoke in tongues was that
the gifts of the Spirit of God began to manifest
in her life very clearly. The sister told me that
she began to receive songs from the Holy
Spirit. And when her dear husband saw the
immediate changes in her life, he came and
met me: “brother Pius, I want what happened
to my wife to happen to me.”
He joined our class on Facebook and glory to
God he was baptized with the Holy Ghost. He
also blasted in tongues like his wife and to the
glory of God, they began to receive songs from
heaven. They wrote them out and sang them
to the glory of God.
These miraculous explosions happened
because of one particular event in the lives of
this couple – they encountered the Holy Ghost
and started speaking in tongues.

I have this faith in God that if you are reading

this book, but the baptism of the Holy Ghost
has not yet happened to you, your time is
now, in the name of Jesus. (Click on this book,

be baptized)

Isaiah 44:26:

That confirmeth the word of his

servant, and performeth the counsel of
his messengers; that saith to
Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited;
and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be
built, and I will raise up the decayed
places thereof:
CHAPTER 4 – LOVE
Man in his natural nature finds it difficult to
love God! Our nature has been configured
after the fall of man to detest everything that
is God. We can sit down for hours to watch
our favourite soaps, sports, games, yet to
spend time with God in fellowship is a great
difficulty. Spiritual exercise may be difficult or
hard because that is our nature. No wonder,
Paul the Apostle, as mighty as he was, had a
similar struggle battling with his desires to
please God.

Romans 7:15-25.

15 For that which I do I allow not: for

what I would, that do I not; but what I
hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I
consent unto the law that it is good.

17 Now then it is no more I that do it,

but sin that dwelleth in me.

18 For I know that in me (that is, in my

flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to
will is present with me; but how to
perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not:
but the evil which I would not, that I
do.

20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no

more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth
in me.

21 I find then a law, that, when I would

do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after
the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my

members, warring against the law of
my mind, and bringing me into
captivity to the law of sin which is in
my members.

24 O wretched man that I am! who

shall deliver me from the body of this
death?

25 I thank God through Jesus Christ

our Lord. So then with the mind I
myself serve the law of God; but with
the flesh the law of sin.

For those who don’t know the Lord, it is even

worse. Paul the Apostle was not an unbeliever.
This is the spiritual man who was filled with
the Holy Ghost and knew the ways of the
Lord. Yet this man was struggling to love the
Lord. I use the word love carefully in context
because, by scripture, our love for God is
confirmed by obedience to Jesus Christ.
John 14:15.

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Paul’s struggle is a love issue rather than

outright sin. No matter how hard you work to
love God, you may not be able to achieve that
because by strength shall no man prevail. In
fact, in the book of John 6:3 God has rejected
any form of work that stems from the flesh.
He will only accept it if it comes from the
spirit. That is why the love of God is one of the
strongest things that will happen to you from
the day you first spoke in tongues.

In this present age, the Holy Spirit is the

unifying personality between you and God. He
ensures that the life you lead is in agreement
with the Father's will. I have seen many a
believer struggle with loving God due to
ignoring the pivotal ministry of the Holy
Ghost in their lives. Unless you realize that
our nature can’t love God, you will continue to
struggle.
Why is the love for God important?

Love keeps us going

Ever been in love? Have you ever loved

someone? If you have, then you will realize
how easy it is to do things for that person
because you love them. When a person is in
love, he isn’t pulled by blind emotions, but the
love in his heart. He would go to any length to
perform any task not out of compulsion but
out of strong love.

The devil is aware of that that is why the first

thing he fights in the heart of any man is love.
If he can kill the love of God in the life of a
man, he has succeeded in destroying the force
that sustains the man.

Love is a powerful force. When Jesus wanted

to earn our respect as a Savior, he decided to
use love. God made every man in his own
image and if he wanted to, he would have
compelled us to love him. However, God
doesn’t want robotic love, but the love that
emanates from our free will. When love is
forced, that force must remain to sustain that
love. God chooses not to use force but rather a
way to make us love him without compulsion.
He went the way of the cross to die for you
and I and in turn, allow us to choose to love
him. He wouldn’t violate men’s free will even
though he knows what is good for us. It was
his love on the cross of Calvary that covers our
sins.

1 Peter 4:8

Above all hold unfailing your love for

one another, since love covers a
multitude of sins.

(RSV)
Love fuels our obedience

Isaiah 1:18-19

19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye

shall eat the good of the land:

20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall

be devoured with the sword: for the
mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

This scripture contains one of the greatest

instruction for blessings that come from
obedience. Yet such blessings are tied to
obedience. The Bible knows precisely the
nature of man so the Bible says if you will be
willing and obedient then you will eat the
good of the land. We need the love of God in
our hearts to be able to obey him. The more
we have the love of God in our hearts, the
easier it is for us to obey his instructions.
While in the Old Testament the people of
Israel were laden with “thou shalt and thou
shalt not” Jesus clearly stated that the greatest
of all the commandments is love.

Mark 12:29-31
29 And Jesus answered him, The first
of all the commandments is, Hear, O
Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy
God with all thy heart, and with all thy
soul, and with all thy mind, and with
all thy strength: this is the first
commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this,

Thou shalt love thy neighbour as
thyself. There is none other
commandment greater than these.

How can you love the Lord your God with all
your heart and soul when there are many
things struggling for that affection. I would be
correct to say that the love of God in the heart
of a man is the throne of God, and he wouldn’t
want to share that with anyone.

In a technology driven world, there are many

things fighting for our affection. Social media,
internets, etc., where we can waste several
hours chatting. The TV that wants to be our
closest companion. Our job, family, friends,
and relations who want our love or nothing
else. They are too numerous to mention. I am
not condemning these things. Bless God for
the gift of technology. In fact, our gratitude
goes to God for opening the vistas of
knowledge to men to enable us make use of
technology in its advancing age.

Technology has multiplied our productivity,

yet it has stolen the hearts of many. It
accounts for the reason why, when we wake up
sometimes, we don’t get to open the pages of
our Bibles first or even pray to the Lord but
prefer to press our phones. How sad! May the
Lord deliver us!
I’ve written this book for you to understand
that the Holy Ghost is the only person that can
help you to love God. Beside him, no one can
help.

Love Sustains our Trust

Love is one of the factors that sustains our

trust for God. When love is present, the trust
would be found. In my past experience, I have
found that my love for God is strong when my
trust for him is solid. Anytime I began to
struggle with love for God, I find myself
wavering in trust. Trust
for God will abound when love for God is in
the heart of man.

Do not beat yourself. God didn’t hide the

solution to this problem. The Bible says it is
within you.
Deuteronomy 30:11-14

11 For this commandment which I

command thee this day, it is not hidden
from thee, neither is it far off.

12 It is not in heaven, that thou

shouldest say, Who shall go up for us
to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we
may hear it, and do it?

13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that

thou shouldest say, Who shall go over
the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that
we may hear it, and do it?

14 But the word is very nigh unto thee,

in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that
thou mayest do it.

This scripture stands as one of my favorites in

the entire Bible. God didn’t leave us helpless.
He has placed the solutions of our loveless
nature right in us. The solution is the Holy
Ghost!
The Bible says it is within you. Right in your
heart. Isn’t that wonderful? Surely it is! If you
can rely on the Holy Ghost, you will not suffer
from a loveless spiritual life.

Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad
in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which
is given unto us.

In addressing the Problem of Love in the

Hearts of Men, God gave us the Holy Spirit.
That is why this book is titled the things that
will happen to you after you speak in the Holy
Ghost. These are certain occurrences because
the owner of the love now lives in your heart.

One of the things you must first experience

after you first spoke in tongues is love. The
Holy Ghost calms and fills your heart with the
love of God. You long for the hour of prayer
because you want to hear what God has to say.
You pants after communion with the Holy
Ghost because your heart is engorged with
liquid love. How beautiful it is to speak in
tongues and to anticipate all these things.

You weren’t prepared for this. Most books on

the concept of the baptism of the Holy Ghost
would tell you how to receive the baptism of
the Holy Ghost with little or no preparation of
what will happen to you after the baptism of
the Holy Ghost. I thank God for inspiring me
to write this book so that many of his children
will know what to expect after they first spoke
in tongues. Due to the absence of this
preparation, many of God’s beloved children
find their experiences strange!
You are now better prepared. When these
events begin to happen, you are not caught by
surprises. You can raise your hands and praise
God believing that these are the things that
must happen once you are filled in the Holy
Ghost with the evidence of speaking in
tongues.

Beloved, I welcome you to this realm where

God’s love is available in an unquantifiable
measure. Your passion for God will be high
and as long as you continue to follow the
leading of the Holy Ghost, this love and
passion will not only remain but also increase.
CHAPTER 5 – FULLNESS
Recently, I asked a simple question in one of
our online classes. I am asking this simple
question here too. Between 2 cups of water,
one is half and the other is filled, which one
will serve people better. Almost unanimously,
the whole class answered in unison – the full
cup. A believer who is filled with the Holy
Ghost is better equipped to serve God well
than a believer who isn’t.
Ephesians 5:18.

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is

excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
In the book of acts chapter 2, we saw that 120
disciples all got filled with the Holy Ghost.
And when they did, we saw the exploits that
followed them in the name of Jesus. You are
also filled, and you can do the same exploit
that disciples of old did.

Have you ever seen a water tank that supplies

water to a household every day? If the
household uses that water but they never
cared to pump the tank, the water will
continue to serve the household until one day
when it will run out. However, as long as the
tank keeps getting refilled, that house remains
in an abundant supply of water daily.

This physical example applies to this spiritual

as well. You have been filled with the Holy
Ghost, yet you need a refilling by the Holy
Ghost continuously.

Acts 4:20-31

20 For we cannot but speak the things

which we have seen and heard.

21 So when they had further

threatened them, they let them go,
finding nothing how they might punish
them, because of the people: for all men
glorified God for that which was done.
22 For the man was above forty years
old, on whom this miracle of healing
was shewed.

23 And being let go, they went to their

own company, and reported all that
the chief priests and elders had said
unto them.

24 And when they heard that, they

lifted up their voice to God with one
accord, and said, Lord, thou art God,
which hast made heaven, and earth,
and the sea, and all that in them is:

25 Who by the mouth of thy servant

David hast said, Why did the heathen
rage, and the people imagine vain
things?

26 The kings of the earth stood up, and

the rulers were gathered together
against the Lord, and against his
Christ.

27 For of a truth against thy holy child

Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both
Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the
Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were
gathered together,

28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and

thy counsel determined before to be
done.

29 And now, Lord, behold their

threatenings: and grant unto thy
servants, that with all boldness they
may speak thy word,

30 By stretching forth thine hand to

heal; and that signs and wonders may
be done by the name of thy holy child
Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the
place was shaken where they were
assembled together; and they were all
filled with the Holy Ghost, and they
spake the word of God with boldness.
The apostles had done a notable miracle that
stood like a flag swaying in the face of their
persecutors. An impotent man had been
healed. The Pharisees feared that the
demonstration of that power will turn the
hearts of many to Jesus Christ. So they
persecuted them with threats that they should
no longer preach in the name of Jesus.

In verse 31, the disciples prayed and they were

filled with the Holy Ghost. The question is,
what further filling of the Holy Ghost did they
needed having been filled in the book of Acts
chapter 2. That Scripture would have said that
they were refilled with the Holy Ghost. Notice
what the Bible says that they were refilled with
the Holy Ghost to speak the word with
boldness.

To be effective in the work of service, having

ministered, virtue has gone out of them so
they needed to be refilled with the Holy Ghost.
The prayer that the disciples offered in the
book of Acts chapter 4 verse 20 is not for them
to speak in tongues but for a fresh deposit of
the power of the Holy Ghost to come upon
their lives.

Mark 5:24-31

24 And Jesus went with him; and much

people followed him, and thronged
him.

25 And a certain woman, which had an

issue of blood twelve years,
26 And had suffered many things of
many physicians, and had spent all
that she had, and was nothing
bettered, but rather grew worse,

27 When she had heard of Jesus, came

in the press behind, and touched his
garment.

28 For she said, If I may touch but his

clothes, I shall be whole.

29 And straightway the fountain of her

blood was dried up; and she felt in her
body that she was healed of that
plague.

30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in

himself that virtue had gone out of
him, turned him about in the press,
and said, Who touched my clothes?
Each time you minister to people, prayed for
the sick, something leaves you to those people.
What leaves you is called virtue. After such a
ministration, you need to be refilled for the
replacement of the virtue that has gone out of
you. We have so far established that the
baptism of the Holy Ghost did not come upon
you to speak in tongues alone.
Your baptism with the Holy Ghost is to
prepare you for the work and the plans the
Lord has for your life. So, do not limit the
power of the Holy Ghost to speaking in
tongues alone. So many things happen to your
life the moment you encounter the baptism of
the Holy Ghost.

Any form of service draws virtue out of you,

and it will be surprising for you to know that
fasting and prayer is also included (see my
soon to be published book on amazon on
Fasting and Prayer) Church departmental
work, or when you become a preacher you
need power to serve God. You need to be
refilled after service.
To proceed in service to God without
continually refilling is to operate below your
maximum capacity. This is a Bible-based
principle and from the date you first spoke in
tongues, that day, you’ve entered into the
spiritual life that will need a refilling from
time to time.

Fresh baptism of the Holy Ghost is necessary

to be effective in serving the Lord. I hope that
you understand this principle right away so
that you walk in the fullness of your
potentials.
CHAPTER 6-JOY IN THE
HOLY GHOST
Righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy
Ghost is part of the kingdom of God. And the
Lord wants you to enjoy that. Depression,
sorrow, and sadness is part of the kingdom of
darkness. God’s kingdom is full of peace and
joy. And the Holy Ghost is the giver of that joy.

You’ve got him in your life. Joy should now

flow abundantly like a fountain of living water.
The Bible says that all that believe in me out of
their belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Who is the giver of the river? It is the Holy
Ghost that causes the fountain of living water
to gush out of your life. Gladly, he presently
resides in your life. It will be an error for you
to be living in depression and sadness when
you have the reservoir of joy in your heart.
God didn’t promise a trouble-free Christian
life, his promise is that he will be with us.
Trials, temptations, difficult seasons will
come. His assurance is during such seasons he
will be there with you. He has sent the
comforter who is the Holy Ghost to be with us
at such times. Even though sometimes we feel
that the Holy Ghost is not with us, but we are
not supposed to walk by feelings but by faith.
Joy is given by the spirit. Happiness, on the
other hand, is controlled by circumstances.
You can become happy because you were
given a car, a Christmas gift, a job promotion,
you pass an exam, or you were given a $200
bill. All of these are the products of
circumstances.

Joy the Holy Ghost gives is not dependent

upon events or their happenings. Whether the
car is there, bank accounts reading red, or
fired from a job the joy remains.
As I write this sentence now, and I am being
reminded of an event that happened to me
while I was in college then. I was troubled by
lack of finances. How I would survive continue
to sting me like a bee. I got on a bike going to
school, suddenly there was a deep song that
was springing in my spirit. It was a lovely song
that was comforting me in my circumstances.

You have been baptized with the Holy Ghost

and you have spoken your first tongue, joy in
the Holy Ghost is going to be identified with
your life if you can learn to pay attention to
the works of the spirit.

You can’t carry the Holy Ghost in your life and

be joyless. For all carriers of the spirit, there is
a sign that is notorious in their lives – joy in
the Holy Ghost.
Proverbs 6:27

Can a man take fire in his bosom, and

his clothes not be burned?

You can’t carry the Holy Ghost in your life, the

emblem of joy and peace and not be joyful. He
would continue to supply joy in your life.

After all, as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ,

being joyful in the Holy Ghost is part of our
inheritance. I welcome you beloved into this
new life – constant joy in the Holy Ghost.
CHAPTER 7 – THE
TEMPLATE FOR YOUR
LIFE
A wise man once said, “The grave is the richest
place on earth because there lie many gifts
and talents that were not used.” I agree with
the statement. Some of these men in those
GRAVES who were unable to use their gift
completely or made use of the gift partially are
believers.
This wasn’t the plan of God for their lives. We
are supposed to go back to our maker empty
of all the deposits given to us by God.

Matthew 25:14-19
For the kingdom of heaven is as a man
travelling into a far country, who
called his own servants, and delivered
unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to
another two, and to another one; to
every man according to his several
ability; and straightway took his
journey.
16 Then he that had received the five
talents went and traded with the same,
and made them other five talents.

17 And likewise he that had received

two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went
and digged in the earth, and hid his
lord's money.
The talent given to you represents the
template for your entire existence upon the
face of the earth. It is what will discipline you
and guide your life as long as you are living.
God is not interested in creating things that
would serve no useful purpose.
You were strategically created to serve a
purpose on the face of the earth. This account
for the reason why when God created man he
gave man a specific task to perform in the
Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:15).

You are indeed a treasured chest filled with

several gifts of the spirit of God. However, if
you need to open the full potentiality of these
gifts you will need the help of the Holy Spirit.

When the Holy Spirit comes upon your life, he

gives you the template which is like a
complete manual for your life. The Holy Ghost
does that in order to save you from
distractions. If you do not know the purpose
of your creation on earth, you may not be able
to operate as God wants you to. For example,
if you have the gift of worship, you might not
want to bother yourself with going into the
fashion industry. You will need something
close to music so that you can nurture the gift
that God has given you.

The revelation of that talent can only be made

known to you by the Holy Ghost. Sometimes,
the Holy Ghost will reveal to you directly the
template for your life. But you may find the
clues in the things that you derive joy in doing.
For me, I had a passion for preaching. I didn’t
want to assume that it was my calling. I had to
take time out to pray in other to know the
perfect will of God for my life. I waited for
several months. I was walking in a park alone
when I started to hear the word pastor, pastor,
pastor in my spirit man. Nobody told me what
it meant, but I had the knowing in my spirit
that it was the answer to the things I was
asking God for some few months ago.

I am not pastoring a church right now, yet I

am fully aware that what I have heard is for an
appointed time.

God bless you
