Date :- Foy) wv PUBLIC APPEAL Sub :- Public appeal regarding seeking information for the payment of rent to the members of Siddharth Nagar Patra Chawl Sahakari Housing Society in Goregaon Siddharth Nagar (Patra Chawl) Redevelopment project of MHADA. (Writ Petition No. 2904 of 2019 with Writ Petition 513 of 2023) All the 672 members of the Siddharth Nagar are hereby informed that as per the Government resolution dated 09.07.2021 of the Housing Department, Govt. of Maharashtra, the development of partly constructed rehabilitation buildings in Patra Chawl has taken over by MHADA and its works is in progress. Vide letter dated 11.10.2022 & dated 12.04.2023 the Government has allowed MHADA to pay rent to eligible authorised members from the date of taken over the project by MHADA. MHADA is hereby ready to pay rent to the eligible authorised member of the society. In order to verify authorised members of the society a committee has been formed under the Chairmanship of Deputy Registrar Co-op. Societies (Western suburbs) Mumbai Board with the approval of Chief Officer / Mumbai Board. Accordingly, all the members of society are requested to submit the original membership documents, copy of Aadhar Card, Bank Account details of the member like members name, account no., IFSC code, copy of front page of the passbook ete. to the Committee formed under the chairmanship of Deputy Registrar (Western suburbs), directly or through their representative, at the office of the Deputy Registrar (Western suburbs), room no. 211, First floor, Mhada Office Kalanagar, Bandra (E), Mumbai-400051. After verifying the same MHADA will be able to deposit rent in the society member's accounts.
