The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 11.10 Muhuo, is located on the dorsal aspect of
LOCATION the middle finger, at the center of the DIP joint (line G).

NOTES: 

This finger line system for locating Zone 11 points is adopted from "Advanced
Tung Style Acupuncture: Dao Ma" by James Maher.

PRIMARY: 
INDICATIONS
Post-stroke complications, hemiplegia
Heart disorders

SECONDARY: 

Calf pain (or feeling of coldness, tightness or distension of the lower leg), knee pain
around Ququan (LR 8), ankle pain after exposure to cold/icy water
Headache

PROTOCOLS

Needle superficially 0.1 - 0.2 cun and obliquely 15 degrees towards the ring finger.
TECHNIQUES Never retain needles for more than 5 minutes. First treatment should be no more
than 5 minutes, second treatment (5 days later) for 3 minutes, and last treatment
(after 10 days) for 1 minute.
This point can also be bled if the area appears dark or if it has surrounding dark
veins.
Needle or bleed contralateral to the affected side.
