Flaminngoes. Many animals can be seen in the Savannah area of the park includinggiraffe,
leopard, waterbuck and both black and white rhino.

Unique Vegetation.: about 500 differnet plant species including the unique and the biggest
euphoria forest in Africa, picturesque landscape and yellow acacia woodlands.
View points: Lion hill Baboon Cliff and out of Africa.

Leaving Lake Nakuru National Park,We drive to the incredible Maasai Mara National Reserve

of species from the elegant gazelles and herds of plain game ,to Lion, Cheetah and the other
predators.

Day 1 Shaba Game Reserve
Shaba Reserve is a protected area in isiolo county, Northern Kenya to the east of Samburu &
Buffalo springs National Reserve .It was established in 1974 and has a dramatic scenery
including riverside forest, scattered woodland and grassland dominated by shaba Volcano.
Shaba is home to the endangered grevys Zebra and the rare Williams Lark, wildlife lies on
waterholes and marshes scattered throughout the reserve.
The reserve was the setting for the book & film born free, for the film out of Africa and for the
reality show survivor Africa. Attractions in the reserve include; Rare species such as
Generuk,Beisa dry and reticulated giraffe ;Buffalo spings,Maasai Ostrich ,greater lesser kudus
and Africa leopards ,Maasai giraffe & common zebra are less common.

DAY 2
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
The reserve is found in an area that was once known as the northern frontier district .It lies on the
northern side of Buffalos springs & it is divided by Ewaso Nyiro River.The river provide water
without which the game in the reserve could not survive in the arid area.
Attractions:
Over 360 species of birds ,reticulated giraffe ,grevys zebra ,elephants ,hippos,
crocodiles ,Generuk,Buffalo, Lions, Hyenas, Somali Ostrich Beisa Oryx.
Activities;

DAY 3
OLPEJETA CONSERVANCY
A Safari into the O.P.C will let you enjoy the company of rescued chimpanzees as you learn
about the stories of torture they went through in captivity in west & central Africa .This is
actually the place in Kenya to see chimpanzees and you can have to adopt of them!
On a game drive, you can visit the largest black rhino sanctuary and learn about the
conservations effort that are conducted to protect those endangered species.
After the single largest translocation process, with the K.W.S and neighboring Lewa
conservancy ,the Olpejeta conservancy is home to 88 black rhinos and 11 southern white rhinos
and 4 northern white rhinos in a separate sanctuary ;you could also make a donation to help more
conservation activities for these endangered species.

DAY 4
Today our route takes us to soysambu which is 48,000 acres situated in kenyas’s central rift
valley approximately 130kms northwest of Nairobi and southeast of Nakuru bordered by
L.Nakuru National park on the west volcanoes oldonyo Eburru to the south & Menengai to the
North .
Soysambu is located on L.Elmenteita as part of the Kenya Lake system in the great rift valley
world heritage site & Ramsar Convention westlands site and a bird international –important bird
and Biodiversity Area.
Lake Elementaita supports the only known breeding site of geat white pelicans ,home to 140
endangered Nubian giraffes ,small population of residents lions ,over 300+ birds species & its
also a Eurasian migratory flyway aand more wildlife to
see ,buffalo,leopard ,hippos,hyena ,jackal,eland,reedbuck,warthog,steinbook,colobus
monkey,vervet monkey & baboons.

DAY 5 & 6 .MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Today our route takes us to the Maasai Mara National reserve where we have the opportunity to
see a range of the most impressive African Animals .As we near the mara reserve we will also
see many colorfully dressed maasai tribes people attending their herd of cattle.
The Maasai mara has a very high population of plains animals, such as wilbeests ,and zebras
which are preyed upon by lions ,cheetahs ,hyenas and other predators
Attraction in the resereve include;
Wildebeest migrations (July-November),Hot air ballooning ,huge savannahs of golden
grasslands ,by skies Rift valley escarpments and lion sighitngs.

AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Amboseli provides our next great highlight, the wonderful park not only has a great valley of
game, but also stunning views of the snowcapped peaks of mount Kilimanjaro .We will look for
the parks female elephants population in the marsh area which all also attract much birdlife.
Attractions in the park include; Herds of elephant, mt.Kilimanjaro, Big five, contemporary
maasai culture and indigenous, hippos and prolific bird species.

DAY 4
ABERDARE RANGES AND NATIONAL PARK
Driving to Aberdare National park arriving in time for lunch ,The aberdare ranges are renowned
for their botanical riched and torvential waterfalls plunging from cloud-shrouded heights to spray
filled ravines.The queens cave pavilion wa the site for the lasa royal picnic lunch for queen
Elizabeth ii and her husband prince phillip.
The ranges occupy 767km2 and has a two highest peaks; letasima ta 13120 feet and Kilimanjaro
at 12816 feet
Major attractions; Aberdare mountain ,kavuru falls ,Kenya ‘s tallest waterfall ,2nd lardest
population of black rhino ,Mau mau caves and freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi hide out .

SHABA GAME RESERVE
Continuing north we arrive at the shaba game reserve ,a protected area in siolo county ,in arid
area to the eats of Samburu & buffalo springs National reserve ,it was established in 1994 & has
a dramatic scenery including riverside forest ,scattered woodlan and grassland dominated by
shabs volcano .Wiildlife lies on water holes and marshes sacatterd throughout the reserve .
Shaba is home to the endangers grevys zebras and the rare Williams lark . The reserve was the
setting for the book and the fil born free ,fro the film out ofAfrica and for the reality show
survivodr AFRICA
Attractions include; Rare species such as a generuk ,Beisa oryx and reticulated giraffe ,Buffalo

SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
The reserve is found in an area that was once known as the northern frontier district Samburu lies
on the banks of the ewaso nyiro river and covers 165km2 in size in the middle of ethe
reserve ,the ewasonyiro river flows through down palms groves and riverine forest that provides
water without which the game ould not survive in the arid game resrve

DAY 7
LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Turning south we visit L.Nakuru park in the of the rift valley .The park is justly famous for its
visiting floaks of flamingoes and growing population of both black & white rhino.
Major Attractions;
Participate in the cycle with rhino event every September yearly.
Unique Vegetation; About 550different plant species plant including the biggest & unique
euphorbia forest in Africa preturesque landscape & yellow acacia woodland

LAKE NAIVASHA
Its is a short drive to L.Naivasha which is known for its abundant birdlife while hereyou are free
to relux or take an optional boat trip on the lake.
The Lake has a suface area of 139km2, surrounded by swamp which cover an area of 64km2 &
is situated at an altitude of 1884m Naivasha ultimate destination for camping at any time of the
year and the town is commonly associated with flower farming ;Horticulture

MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Leaving L.Naivasha We drive to the incredible Maasai Mara National Park reserve which is
home to a wide variety of wildlife .We have two days for game drives and /or walks in and

DAY 1
We travel north from Nairobi and Stay overnight at Naro Meru river lodge

DAY 2
We transfer to sirimon gate where we meet our guides ,porters & start the climb .We ascend
slowly through the mooland vegetation to judmair camp (11,000ft)
DAY 3 &4
We break way from sirimon track at an altitude of 13,000ft contouring into the sirimon
valley .The next day we make an early start out of sirimon valley and into the head of the hinde
valley, before crossing the NIthi & Gorges valley .This is one of the most seenie areas of the
mountain with its 1000ft vertical cliffs ,virgin valleys and cascading waterfall .The night is spent
at a hall terms (14,000ft)
DAY 5
We descend to lake Michaelson ,in the depth of the gorges valley , and will see the incredible
formation known as the “Temple” We walk down the valley returning to camp at hall tarns
(14,000ft)
DAY 6
We make the alpine ascent of the highest peak pt,Lenana (16,355ft ). On a route up the north
face that is little used by tourists.It is a 4hrs trek to the summit .After being rewarded by
spectacular views we descend to Geleki valley and breakfast at Maekinders camp (13,900ft) we
then descend to met stats camp whre we overnight in huts.
DAY 7
We continue descending to the park gate where we meet our vehicle for the transfer to Nairobi,
arriving before lunch.

DAY 4 SAMBURU GAME RESERVE
The reserve is found in an area that was once known as the northern frontier district. Samburu
game reserve lies on the northern side of Buffalo springs and it’s divided by Ewaso Nyiro
River .The river provides water without the game in the reserve could not servive in the arid
areas.
Attraction :over 360 species of birds ,rare species such as generuk ,Beisa oryx and Reticulated
giraffe ;Maasai ostrich,greater /lesser kudus and African leopard ,Masai giraffe and common
zebras are less common
Activities :Day and night game drives ,guided walks ,bird watching and mount olokowe trek .

LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
Turning south we visit Lake Nakuru national park in the heart of the rift valley. The lake is justly
famous for its visiting flocks of flamingoes; leopards and growing population of both black and
white rhinos.

DAY 6 &7 MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

Leaving L.Nakuru we drive to the incredible maasai mara national reserve which is home to a
wide variety of wildlife .Enroute to mara reserve we will see colorfully dressed masai people
gazing their cattle .The reserve has a high population of plains animals ,such as wildebeest and
zebras which are played upon by lims,cheetahs ,hyenas and other predators overnight ,lodge –

LAKE NAIVASHA
Leaving Samburu Natinal Reserve we drive to L. Naivasha , stopping en-route for lunch at
Thomsons falls lodge and proceed to L.Naivasha one of the great Rift valley lakes renewned for
its birds life.
Whilist here we have the option to take a boat to Greasent island game sanctuary.

Leaving L.Naivsha we drive to the incredible masai mara national reseve which is home to a
wide variety of wildlife as we near masai mara we will see many courfully dressed masai tribes
people attending their herds of cattles.
The reseve has a high population of plains animals such as wildbeast and Zebras which are
prayed upon by lions ,hyenas, cheetas and other predators.
