Theme : If I May

Title : My Dreams My Rules

Everybody has a dream,

To be what they want to be,

To do what they want to do,

And me? (smile)

I also have a dream,

To be what I want to be,

To do what I want to do.

Thus, if I may,

I want all my dreams comes true.

If I may, I want to control my dreams.

On my way to school,

I saw a traffic enforcer,

Controlling heavy traffic.

Cars, motorcycles, buses and even trucks,

Are in control, only by his hands.

If I may, I want to be like him.

Then I saw a woman in white,

Driving her car to the hospital,

She was in rush, to help peoples in need.

Then I thought, I wish I could be like her,

To help peoples around me.

Then at school, the teacher thought me about foods.

Out of blue, I thought,

It would be cool though, if I can cook,

Every cuisine, every recipe, all in my head.

I can eat whatever I want!

I can prepare delicious delicacies for my family,

If I may.

On my way back, I saw a delivery person.

She is a girl! Riding her cool motorbike,

With goods behind her,

Bringing joy and happiness to the peoples,

Whom waited patiently at home,

Smiled when they saw her.

If I may, I want to be like her.

In my room, I snooped out of the window,

I saw green peoples, resting under a tree.

Drinking and chatting, smiling

Even though drenched in sweat,

After collecting all the leaves.

Why they smile? Aren’t they exhausted?

Is it because they were outside, while I’m trapped in my house?

My, my.. if I may, I want to be like them.

Before I went to bed, I thought to myself,

I can be whatever I want to be.

If I may.

I’m in control of my dream.

I just need to work for it,

I just need to learn for it,

I just need to try for it.

If I may, I can do it.

So friends, if your dream don’t scare you,

your dreams are too small.

Dream big,

Let your dreams be your wings.

Just think like this,

My dreams, my rule.
