1 Instruction for Use
1.1 Finger Placement
Recommended fingers: The index finger, middle finger or the ring finger; the thumb and little finger are not
recommended (because they are usually clumsy on the fingerprint collection screen).
1) Proper finger placement: The finger is flat to the surface and centered in fingered guide.
2) Improper finger placement: Not flat to the surface, off-centre, slanting.
1.2 Verification Modes
1.2.1 1: N Fingerprint Verification
The terminal compares current fingerprint collected by the fingerprint collector with all fingerprint data on the
terminal.
Press your finger on the fingerprint collector by adopting the proper finger placement. For details, see 1.1
Finger Placement.

1.2.2 1:1 fingerprint verification
In the 1:1 fingerprint verification mode, the terminal compares current fingerprint collected through the
fingerprint collector with that in relation to the user ID entered through keyboard. Adopt this mode only when
it is difficult to recognize the fingerprint.

Notes：
1.If it says that the enroll number is wrong, it means that there is no such number or the employee doesn't
enroll password.
2.If the device says "Please press again", place the finger on the fingerprint sensor again. You can try another 2
times by default. The repeated times can be set in 6.3 Fingerprint. If it fails after 2 times, return Step 1 for
second operation.
1.2.3 Password Verification
In the password verification mode, the terminal compares the password entered with that in relation to the
user ID.

If the device says "Invalid ID", enter the password again. You can try another 2 times by default. The repeated
times can be set in6.3 Fingerprint. If it fails after 2 times, return Step 1 for second operation.
1.2.4 ID Card Verification
Only the products with a built-in ID card module support the ID card verification. The products with a built-in
ID card module support the following two verification modes:
ID Card Only: Users only need to swipe their ID cards for verification.
ID + Finger Verification: After passing the ID card verification, you also need to perform finger verification.
1. ID Card Only
1) If you have your ID card number enrolled in the system, you can pass the verification by swiping your ID
card at the swiping area in a proper way.

1.3 Status of icons

2 Main Menu
The machine main Menu has two different styles, but their sub menu is same.This manual will only
explain the main menu style of left picture .
When the device is on initial interface, press M/OK to open main menu, as shown below:
User Mgt.: You can browse the user information stored on the terminal, including the user ID, name, user
role, fingerprint, badge number, card, password, user photo, add, modify or delete the user information.
User Role: used to set the rights of a user-defined role, that is, rights to menus.
Comm. Settings: You can set related parameters for communication between the terminal and PC,
including the IP address, Gateway, Subnet Mask, Baud Rate, Device ID and Comm. Key and so on.
System: You can set system-related parameters, including the Date Time, Attendance, Fingerprint,
Camera, Reset and USB Upgrade, to enable the terminal to meet user requirements to the greatest
extent in terms of functions and display.
Personalize: used to meet user requirements to the greatest extent regarding display, audio, ringing,
and keyboard definition.
Data Mgt.: You can perform management of data stored on the terminal, for example, Delete Data,
Backup Data and Restore Data.
Access Control : You can set the parameters of the electronic locks and related access control devices.
IC Card: Support Mifare non-touch intelligent card with working frequency of 13.56MHZ. Integrate
fingerprint attendance to other systems and support multi-verification mode to meet the demands of
different people.
USB Manager: You can import user information and attendance data stored in a USB disk to related
software or other fingerprint recognition equipment.
Attendance Search: For query the record saved in the device, query record function is provided.

Print : used to determine whether to print attendance records immediately.
Short Message: used to set a public or private short message. The short message will be displayed to a
specified person in the specified time after work attendance check, which facilitates information
transfer.
Work Code: used to identify different work types, which facilitates work attendance check.
Autotest: This submenu enables the system to automatically test whether functions of various modules
are normal, including the Screen, Fingerprint, Voice, Keyboard and Time.
System Info: To check the current device capacity, device information and its firmware information.

3 User Management
Through this submenu, you can browse the user information stored on the terminal, including the user
ID, name, user role, fingerprint, badge number, card, password, user photo; add, modify or delete the
user information. In company's attendance management, for employee's change, the information on
fingerprint sensor also needs modification. Therefore, operations including "add, delete, check, modify
and so on” can be done on fingerprint sensor.
3.1. Adding a User
Press M/OK key on the initial Select Users and press OK. Select New User and press OK.

3.1.1 Entering a User ID
The terminal automatically allocates an ID starting from 1 for every user in sequence. If you use the ID
allocated by the terminal, you may skip this section.
Tip: The terminal supports the 1- to

9-digit user IDs by default.
If a prompt message "The user ID

already exists!" is displayed, enter
another ID.
Select User ID and press OK. Enter the user ID using keypad
then press OK.

3.1.2 Entering a Name
Enter a user name through the keyboard.

23-character names by default.

3.1.3 Modifing the user role

Super Admin: The super administrator has the operation rights to all menu functions.
Normal user: If the system has an administrator, a common user is entitled only to authentication using
his/her fingerprint, password, or card. If the system does not have an administrator, a common user has the
operation rights to all menu functions.
User Defined Role: A user-defined role can be assigned some other menu functions in addition to the
functions available for a common user. (When logging in as a super administrator, you have the rights to
assign menu functions to a customized role.)

Set the rights of a user-defined role, that is, rights to menus.

5 Communication Setting
Set parameters for communication between the device and a PC. The parameters include the IP address,
gateway, subnet mask, baud rate, machine ID, and login password.

5.1 Ethernet
When Ethernet is used for communication of device and PC, the following settings need to be checked:
IP Address: IP is 192.168.1.201 by default. You can modify it if it is necessary. But it cannot be the same
with that of PC.
Subnet Mask: It is 255.255.255.0 by default. You can modify it if it is necessary.
Gateway: It is 0.0.0.0 by default. If the device and PC are in different net segment, it is necessary to set
address.
DNS: The DNS Server is 0.0.0.0 by default and can be changed as required.
TCP COMM Port: It is 4730 by default. You can modify it if it is necessary.
DHCP: short for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, which is used by a server to allocate dynamic IP
addresses to clients on a network
Display in Status Bar: used to set whether to display network icons in the status bar of the main
interface.

5.2 Serial Comm
When serial port （RS232/RS485） is used for communication of device and PC, the following settings
need to be checked:
RS232: Whether use RS232 to communicate. Select "Yes" if RS232 is to be used.
RS485: Whether use RS485 to communicate. Select "Yes" if RS485 is to be used.
Baudrate: Used for communication with PC. There are five options: 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 and
115200. If the communication speed is high, RS232 is recommended. If the communication speed is low,
RS 485 is recommended.
USB: Whether use USB to communicate. Select "Yes" if USB is to be used.
UCB Baudrate: Used USB to communication with PC. There are five options: 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600
and 115200. If the communication speed is high.
Device ID: 1-254. If RS232/RS485 is used, this ID needs to be input on the software communication
interface.
5.3 PC Connection
To improve the security of attendance data, connection password needs to be set here. Connection
password must be input when PC software is to connect device to read data.
Comm Key: System password is 0 by default.(namely, there is no password.) it can be set as other value.
After setting, the password must be input if software is to communicate with device. Or the connection
will fail. The password length is 1- 6 digits.
Device ID: 1-254. If RS232/RS485 is used, this ID needs to be input on the software communication
interface.

5.4 Wireless Network
Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) is also known as the 802.11b standard. The greatest advantage of WIFI is its high
transmission rate up to 11Mbps. Wi-Fi also features long transmission distance and excellent
compatibility with various existing 802.11 DSSS devices. IEEE 802.11b is a radio-based variant of IEEE
802.11. The bandwidth of IEEE 802.11b can be up to 11 Mbps and automatically adjusted to 5.5Mbps,
2Mbps and 1Mbps depending the signal strength and interference level, thus effectively ensuring
network stability and reliability. Major advantages: High transfer speed and reliability. The
communication distance can be up to 305 m in an open area and 76 m to 122 m in an enclosed area.
WIFI can be conveniently integrated with the existing wireline Ethernet, making the networking cost
even lower.
Our terminal is also Wi-Fi capable. It supports either built-in or external Wi-Fi module to implement
wireless data transmission over the Wi-Fi.

6 System
Set system parameters to meet user's demand as many as possible. Including the Date Time, Attendance,
Fingerprint and so on.

6.1 Date/Time

Set Date/Time: This parameter is used to set the date and time of the FFR terminal.

24-Hour Time: This parameter is used to set the time display mode of the initial interface. Select "ON" to
adopt the 24-hour display mode. Select "OFF" to adopt the 12-hour display mode.
Date Format: This parameter is used to set the format of the date displayed on the all interface of the
FFR terminal.
Calendar Type: The device support the three calendar type, like Gregorian, Iran Gregorian and Iran
Lunai. You can modify it if it is necessary.
Daylight Saving Time
DST, also called Daylight Saving Time is a system to prescribe local time in order to save energy. The
unified time adopted during the system date is called "DST". Usually, the time will be one hour forward
in summer. It can make people sleep early and get up early. It can also reduce lighting to save power. In
autumn, the time will be recovered. The regulations are different in different countries. At present, nearly
110 countries adopt DST.
To meet the demand of DST, a special option can be customized on our RF Card Time & Attendance
recorder. Make the time one hour forward at XX (minute) XX (hour) XX (day) XX (month), and make the
time one hour backward at XX (minute) XX (hour) XX (day) XX (month) if necessary.
Operation:
1) Set DST as "enable".
2) Input DST start time and end time.
For example, if 08:00, April 1st is set, the device enter DS T ,and the time will be one hour forward. If it is
08:00 ,August 1st, the device will reset normal time.
3) Press OK to save setting. Press "ESC" to exit without saving.

Daylight Saving Mode: You can select the date mode (month-day-hour) or week mode
(month-weekday-hour). By default, the date mode is used.
Daylight Saving Setup: used to set the DST start time and end time.
Description of the date mode and week mode:
1. If the month when DST starts is later than that when DST ends, DST spans two different years. For
example, the DST start time is 2012-9-1 4:00 and the DST end time is 2013-4-1 4:00.

2. Assume that the week mode is selected and the DST starts from Sunday of the sixth week of
September in 2012. According to the calendar, September of 2013 does not have six weeks but has five
weeks. In this case, in 2013, DST starts at the corresponding time point of the last Sunday of September.
3. Assume that the DST starts from Monday of the first week of September in 2012. According to the
calendar, the first week of September in 2012 does not have Monday. In this case, the DST starts from
the first Monday of September in 2012.
6.2 Attendance

Duplicate Punch Period (m): If a user's attendance record already exists and the user punches in again
within the specified period (unit: minute), his/her second attendance record will not be stored. (Value
scope: 1─60 minutes)
Alphanumeric User ID: whether employee IDs can contain letters. Employee IDs with letters help classify
employees.
Attendance Log Alert: When the available space is insufficient to store the specified number of
attendance records, the FFR terminal will automatically generate an alarm. (Value scope: 1─99)
Cyclic Delete ATT Data: specifies the maximum number of attendance records that can be deleted at a
time when the number of attendance records reaches the upper limit. This function can be disabled;
otherwise, the value ranges from 1 to 999.
Confirm Screen Delay(s): specifies the time for displaying the authentication result. The value ranges
from 1s to 9s.
Save Illegal Verification Record: Save the Illegal Verification Record generated in Illegal Time Zone and
Illegal Combination or not when the Access Control was Enable.
Expiration Rule: You can select one of the three conditions: retaining user information and not saving
attendance records; retaining user information and saving attendance records; deleting user
information.

FP Sensor Sensitivity: used to set the sensitivity of fingerprint collection. The default value Medium is
recommended. You can set the sensitivity of fingerprint collection to High when the response to finger
scan lags in a dry environment. When the usage environment is humid, you can set the sensitivity of
fingerprint collection to Low if the fingerprint is difficult to identify.
Live Detection ★：Select whether to open the Live ID function. Open live ID function, that is open the
fingerprint anti false function. After opening, when registering or verifying fingerprints the device would
identified the false fingerprint, leading the registration failed or verified not be passed.
1:1 Retry Times: This parameter is used to set the retry times in the event of failure of 1:1 verification or
password verification due to absence of fingerprint enrollment or improper finger placement, so as to
avoid repetitive operations.
Fingerprint Algorithm: This parameter is used to select the fingerprint algorithm version between 9.0
and 10.0. Please select the algorithm version with caution because the fingerprint templates of these
two algorithm versions are incompatible.

Fingerprint Image: This parameter is used to set whether to display the fingerprint image on the screen
during fingerprint enrollment or comparison. It has two values: Permanent Display and No Display.
6.4 Reset
Make device's communication option,system option and so on reset to the state of factory.

6.5 USB Upgrade
You can upgrade the firmware program of the FFR terminal by using the upgrade file in the USB disk
through this parameter.
If you need the firmware upgrade file, please contact our technical support personnel. Generally the
firmware upgrade is not recommended.

7 Personalize
Press M/OK key on the initial Select Personalize and press OK. Select User Interface and press

7.1 User Interface
According to their personal preferences, users can set up the initial interface style.

Wallpaper: Users can choose wallpaper to display on the screen.

Menu Screen Timeout(s): The device will display the main interface automatically when no operation is
performed on a menu within the menu timeout time. (This function can be disabled; otherwise, the
value ranges from 60s to 99999s.)
Idle Time To Slide Show(s): The advertisement picture is displayed when no operation is performed on
the main interface within the waiting time. (This function can be disabled; otherwise, the value ranges
from 3s to 999s.)
Slide Show Interval(s): This parameter is used to set the picture cycle interval (value scope: 0-999
seconds).

Idle Time To Sleep(m): This parameter is used to specify a period after which the device is put in sleep
mode if no operation within this period. You can wake up the device from sleep by pressing any key or
touching the screen. Numerical range in 1 ~ 30 minutes, the factory default for 3 minutes.
Main Screen Style: set where and how the clock and status key are displayed on the main screen.
Company Name: When a company name is specified, you can choose whether to print the company
name in print setting.
Notes: Company name is only in the case of open print function can be set.
7.2 Voice
Press ▼ to select Voice and Press ▲/▼ and OK to select items.

7.3 Bell Schedules
Many companies need bell for on-duty and off-duty. Some use manual bell. Some use electronic bell. To
save cost and provide convenience for management, we integrate bell functions to fingerprint sensor.
You can set time for bell. When it is the scheduled time, The device will automatically play the selected
ringtone and trigger the relay signal. The ringtone playing does not stop until the ringing duration has
elapsed. By default, the device provides 15 ringtones.

Auto Mode: If a shortcut status key is configured to be switched after a period of time, the status key is
switched automatically when the period of time elapses.
Manual and Auto Mode: The main interface displays the status keys that can be switched automatically,
and you are also allowed to switch status keys manually. A status key you select manually will be
switched according to the automatic switching plan after it disappears upon a timeout.
Manual Fixed Mode: After a status key is switched, it is always displayed until you switch it later again.
Fixed Mode: A status key is always displayed and cannot be switched.
Punch State Timeout(s): specifies the timeout period of the status key displayed on the main interface.

Punch State Required: specifies whether the status of work attendance check must be selected during
authentication.
7.5 Shortcut Key Mappings
You can define six shortcut keys as attendance status shortcut keys or functional shortcut keys. On the
main interface of the FFR terminal, press corresponding keys and the attendance status will be
displayed or the function interface will be rapidly displayed.

9 Access Control Setting
Access control option is to set user's open door time zone, control lock and related device's parameters.

1. The current unlock time should be in the effective time of user time zone or group zone.

as the first group, and the new enrolled user is in unlock (if user has modified the related setting of
access control, the system will be changed with user's modification.)

The auto test enables the system to automatically test whether functions of various modules are normal,
including the LCD, voice, sensor, keyboard and clock tests.

Test Fingerprint Sensor: The terminal automatically tests whether the fingerprint collector works
properly by checking whether the fingerprint images are clear and acceptable. When the user places
his/her finger in the fingered guide, the collected fingerprint image is displayed on the screen in
real-time. Press [ESC] to exit the test.
Test Camera: The device automatically tests whether the camera works properly by checking whether
the collected images are clear and acceptable. Press [ESC]] to exit the test.
Test Clock RTC: The terminal tests whether its clock works properly by checking the stopwatch of the
clock. Touch the screen to start counting, and touch it again to stop to check whether the counting is

Test ALL Das Terminal prüft automatisch die LCD, Stimmen, Sensor, Tastatur und Uhrzeit, drücken Sie
OK um weiter und ESC um auszugehen.
Test LCD Um zu testen, ob die LCD Anzeige die Farben richtig anzeigt. (schwarz/weiß). Sie können weiter
machen, indem Sie den Bildschirm berühren oder Ausgehen mit Drücken auf ESC.
Das Gerät testet automatisch, ob alle Stimmdateien komplett sind und ob die
Test Voice Stimmenqualität gut ist. Sie können weiter machen, indem Sie den Bildschirm berühren oder

1. Instrucciones de uso
1.1. Como poner el dedo

Los dedos recomendados: el dedo índice, dedo medio y anular; no se recomiendan el pulgar y
el meñique (porque estos dedos suelen avergonzarse en la pantalla de colección de huellas
dactilares).

1.2.1.1: N Comprobación huella 1 a N

El terminal compara la huella actual escaneada por el lector de huellas dactilares con todas las
huellas dactilares en la memoria del terminal.
Presione con el dedo en el lector de huellas dactilares mediante la adopción de la posición

apropiada de los dedos. Para detalles consulte 1.1. Posición del dedo.

1.2.4. Comprobación con tarjeta ID/TAG

tipo de verificación. Los poductos con módulo integrado de lectura de tarjetas de identidad
soportan las siguientes dos maneras de verificación:
Solamente tarjeta ID: Los usuarios solamente deben pasar la tarjeta por la zona de
verificación.
ID tarjeta+ Comprobación con huella dactilar: Después de pasar la comprobación mediante

ID tarjeta, tiene que realizar también la comprobación a través del escaneo de la huella
dactilar.
1. Solamente tarjeta ID
1) Si tiene la tarjeta ID de identificación registrada en el sistema, puede pasar la verificación
mediante el desplazamiento apropiado de la tarjeta ID por la zona dedicada para lectura.

2. El menú principal
El menú principal del dispositivo tiene dos estilos diferentes de visualización, pero su
submenú está idéntico. Este manual explicará solamente el estilo del menú principal de la
imagen izquierda.
Cuando el dispositivo está en la interfaz inicial, toque M/OK para abrir el menú principal,
como sigue:
User Mgt: Puede navegar por la información de usuario almacenada en el terminal, incluso la
ID del usuario, nombre, su tarea, la huella dactilar, el número de la tarjeta, la tarjeta, la

Access Control: Puede configurar los parámetros de las cerraduras electromagnéticas y de los
dispositivos de control acceso asociados.

Work Code: usados para identificar diferentes tipos de trabajo, lo que facilita la verificación
de la presencia en el lugar de trabajo.
Autotest: Este submenú permite al sistema probar automáticamente si las funciones de los
diferentes módulos son normales, incluso la pantalla, la huella dactilar, la voz, el teclado y la
fecha.
System info: Para verificar la capacidad actual del dispsitivo, la información sobre el
dispositivo y la información sobre el firmware.

3. Gestión de usuarios
A través de este submenú puede visualizar la información del usuario almacenada en el

terminal, incluso la ID del usuario, el nombre, la tarea del usuario, la huella dactilar, el

3.1.3. Cambiar la tarea del usuario

Super Admin: El super administrador tiene el derecho a operar con todas las funciones del
menú.
Normal user: Si el sistema tiene un administrador, un usuario común tiene el derecho

solamente a la autenticación usando la huella dactilar, la contraseña o la tarjeta. Si el sistema
no tiene un administrador, un usuario común tiene derechos de operación para todas las
funciones del menú.
User Defined Role: Una tarea determinada por el usuario se puede asignar a otras funciones
del menú además de las funciones disponibles para un usuario común. (Cuando se conecta
como super administrador, tiene el derecho de asignar las funciones del menú a una tarea
personalizada).
3.1.1. Registro de huella

5. Configuraciones de comunicaciones

5.1. Ethernet/Red
Cuando se usa Ethernet para la comunicación en la red del dispositivo con la computadora,

Gateway: Es por defecto 0.0.0.0. Si el dispositivo y la computadora se encuentran en el

segmento diferente de net, es necesario configurar la dirección.
DNS: El servidor DNS es por defecto 0.0.0.0 y se puede cambiar según se necesita.
TCP COMM Port: Es por defecto 4730. La puede cambiar si es necesario.
DHCP: brevemente para Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, que se usa por un servidor
para asignar direcciones dinámicas IP a los clientes de una red.
Display in Status Bar: usado para establecer si sean mostradas los íconos de red en la barra de
estado de la interfaz principal.
5.2. Serial Comm
Cuando el puerto de serie (RS232/RS485) se usa para la comunicación del dispositivo con la
computadora, hay que verificar las siguientes configuraciones:
RS232: Si usa RS232 para comunicar. Seleccione Sí si desea usar RS232.

RS485: Si usa RS485 para comunicar. Selecione Sí si desea usar RS485.
Baudrate: usado para la comunicación con la computadora. Hay cinco opciones: 9600, 19200,
38400, 57600 y 115200.
Si la velocidad de comunicación está alta, se recomienda RS232. Si la velocidad de
comunicación está baja, se recomienda RS 485.
USB: Si usa USB para comunicar. Seleccione Sí si desea usar USB.
USB Baudrate: Si usa USB para comunicar con la computadora. Hay cinco opciones: 9600,
19200, 38400, 57600 y 115200. Si la velocidad de comunicación es alta.
ID dispositivo: 1-254. Si se usa RS232/RS485, esta ID tiene que ser introducida en la interfaz
de comunicación software.
5.3. Conexión a PC
Para mejorar la seguridad de los datos de registro, tiene que configurar aqui la contraseña de
conexión. La contraseña tiene que ser introducida cuando el software de la computadora se
tiene que conectar al dispositivo de registro para la lectura de los datos.
Comm Key: La contraseña del sistema es 0 por defecto (es decir, no hay ninguna contraseña).
Esta se puede configurar como un otro valor. Después de la configuración, la contraseña se
tiene que introducir si el software tiene que comunicarse con el dispositivo. De lo contrario la
conexión fallará. La longitud de la contraseña puede ser de 1-6 cifras.
ID dispositivo: 1-254. Si se usa RS232/RS485, esta ID hay que ser introducida en la interfaz
de comunicación software.

5.5. Wireless Network
Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) se conoce también como el estándar 802.11b. La mayor ventaja de
Wi-Fi es la alta velocidad de transmisión de hasta 11 Mbps. Wi-Fi dispone también de una
distancia larga de transmisión y una compatibilidad excelente con los diferentes dispositivos
existentes 802.11 DSSS. IEEE 802.11b es una excelente opción basada en radio a IEEE
802.11. La anchura de banda de IEEE 802.11b puede ser de hasta 11 Mbps y ajustada
automáticamente a 5,5 Mbps, 2 Mbps y 1 Mbps, relacionado con la intensidad de la señal y el
nivel de interferencia, asegurando la estabilidad y la fiabilidad de la red. Ventajas mayores:
velocidad alta de transferencia y fiabilidad. La distancia de comunicación puede ser de hasta
305 m en una zona abierta y de 76 m hasta 122 m en una zona cerrada. Wifi se puede integrar
convenientemente en las redes Ethernet existentes por cable, lo que hace que el costo de red
sea más bajo.
Nuestro terminal está capable también de Wi-fi. Soporta sea el módulo Wi-Fi integrado, sea
externo, para implementar la transmisión de datos inalámbrica en Wi-fi.
WIFI: Toque OK para abrir o cerrar Wi-Fi.
Operaciones:

6. Sistema
Configure los parámetros para satisfacer la solicitud del usuario cuanto antes posible. Incluso
fecha/Hora, fichaje, huella dactilar, etc.
Toque M/OK en la interfaz inicial. Seleccione system y toque OK. Seleccione Date/Time y
toque OK.
6.1. Fecha/Tiempo
Seleccione Date/Time y toque OK. Toque y OK para seleccionar

las opciones. Cuando la configuración
está finalizada toque OK para guardar
la configuración y salir.
Configurar fecha/hora: Este parámetro se usa para configurar la fecha y la hora del terminal.
24-Hour Time: Este parámetro se usa para configurar la manera de visualización de la hora
para la interfaz inicial. Seleccione ON para adoptar la manera de visualización en 24 horas.
Seleccione OFF para adoptar la manera de visualización en 12 horas.
Date Format: Este parámetro se usa para configurar el formato de la fecha mostrada en toda la
interfaz del terminal.
Calendar Type*: El dispositivo soporta los tres tipos de calendario, como sería el Gregoriano,
Iran Gregoriano e Iran Lunai. Lo puede cambiar si es necesario.
Daylight Savind Time*
DST, nombrada también la hora de verano es un sistema de prescripción de la hora local para
ahorrar energía. La hora unificada adoptada durante la fecha del sistema se denomina DST.
Normalmente, la hora será con una hora antes durante el verano. Puede hacer que las personas
se duerman más temprano y que se despierten más temprano. También, puede disminuir la luz
para ahorrar energía. Durante el otoño, la hora se recuperará. Las regulaciones son diferentes
en diferentes países. En la actualidad, casi 110 países adoptan DST.
Para satisfacer la petición de DST, se puede personalizar una opción especial en el aparato de
registro de la tarjeta RF. Efectúe la hora con una hora antes a XX (minutos) XX (hora) XX
(día) XX (mes) y efectúe la hora con una hora atrás a XX (minuto) XX.
Operaciones:
1) Configure DST como Activado-enable.

2) Inserte la hora de inicio y apagado DST.
Por ejemplo, si 08:00, el 1 de Abril está configurado, el dispositivo inserta DST, y la hora será
con una hora antes. Si son las 08:00, el 1 de Agosto, el dispositivo reiniciará la hora normal.
3) Toque OK para guardar las configuraciones. Toque ESC para salir sin guardar.
Abre la hora de verano Configure la hora en Fecha/Hora Configure la hora por Semana/Día
Daylight Saving Mode: Puede seleccionar la manera de fecha (mes-día-hora) o la manera

semanal (mes-semana-hora). Por defecto, se usa la manera de fecha.
La configuración de la hora de verano: se usa para configurar la hora de inicio de la duración

de programación y la hora de cierre.
La descripción de la manera de fecha y de la manera semanal:
1. Si el mes en el que empieza DST es más tarde que el mes en el que se termina DST,
DST se extiende a lo largo de dos años diferentes. Por ejemplo, la hora de inicio de la
actividad DST es 2012-9-1, y la hora de finalización de DST es 2013-4-1 4:00.
2. Supongamos que está seleccionada la manera semanal, y el DST empieza desde el
Domingo de la sexta semana de Septiembre de 2012. Según el calendario, Septiembre
de 2013 no tiene seis semanas, sino cinco semanas. En este caso, en 2013, DST
empieza a la hora adecuada del último domingo de Septiembre.
3. Supongamos que DST empieza desde Lunes de la primera semana del mes de
Septiembre de 2012. Según el calendario, la primera semana desde el mes de
Septiembre de 2012 no tiene Lunes. En este caso, DST empieza desde el primer día de
Lunes del mes de Septiembre de 2012.
6.2. Fichaje-Attendance
Toque para seleccionar Toque / y OK para seleccionar la opción.

Attendance y toque OK. Cuando está finalizada la configuración,
toque OK para guardar la configuración y salir.
El período de registro duplicado (m): Si el registro de fichaje de un usuario ya existe y el

usuario entra de nuevo dentro del intervalo especificado (unidad: minuto), su registro
secundario no será guardado. (El valor del propósito: 1-60 minutos).
Alphanumeric User ID: Las ID-es de los empleados pueden contener letras. Las ID-es de los
empleados con mayúsculas ayudan a clasificar a los empleados.
Attendance Log Alert: Cuando el espacio disponible no está suficiente para guardar el número
especificado por los registros de fichaje, el terminal generará automáticamente una alarma.
(El valor del propósito: 1-99).
Cyclic Dalete ATTData: menciona el número máximo de registros de fichaje que se pueden
eliminar en un momento en que el número de los registros de fichaje alcanza el límite
superior. Esta función se puede desactivar; de lo contrario, su valor varía desde 1 a 999.
Cyclic Delete ATT Photo: menciona el número máximo de fotos que se puede eliminar en un
momento en que el número de los fotos alcanza el límite superior. Esta función se puede
desactivar; de lo contrario, su valor varía desde 1 a 99.
Confirm Screen Delays: menciona el tiempo de visualización del resultado de autenticación.

El valor varía desde 1s a 9s.
Save Illegal Verification Record: Guarde el registro ilegal de verificación generado en la zona
horaria ilegal y combinación ilegal o cuando no ha sido activado el control acceso.
Expiration Rule: Puede seleccionar una de las tres condiciones: guarde la información sobre
los usuarios y no guarde los registros de fichaje; guardar la información sobre los usuarios y
almacenar los registros de fichaje; eliminar la información sobre los usuarios.
6.3. Huella dactilar-Fingerprint

1:1 Meci Threshold- El valor del rango de conincidencia: la similitud de la verificación

ID+huella dactilar y del registro de la base de datos.
1:N Meci Threshold- El valor del rango de coincidencia: la similitud de la verificación y del
registro de la base de datos.
El valor del rango de coincidencia recomendada:
La sensibilidad del sensor de la huella dactilar: se usa para configurar la sensibilidad de la

colección de las huellas dactilares. Se recomienda el valor implícito Medium. Puede
configurar la sensibilidad de la colección de las huellas dactilares a Alto/High cuando la
respuesta al escaneo con el dedo atraza, en un ambiente seco. Cuando el ambiente de uso está
mojado, puede configurar la sensibilidad de la colección de las huellas dactilares al valor bajo
si la huella se pone difícil de identificar.
1:1 Retry Times- Númeo de intentos: Este parámetro se usa para configurar las horas de
recarga en el caso de un fallo de verificación 1:1 o de verificación de la contraseña debida a la
falta del registro de las huellas dactilares o si pone los dedos en una posición incorrecta, para
evitar las operaciones repetitivas.
Fingerprint Algorithm- Algoritmo huella dactilar: Este parámetro se usa para seleccionar la
versión de algoritmos de huellas dactilares entre 9.0 y 10.0. Seleccione la versión del
algoritmo con cuidado porque las plantillas de las huellas dactilares de estas dos versiones de
algoritmos no son compatibles.
Fingerprint Image-Imagen huella dactilar: Este parámetro se usa para establecer si se muestre
la imagen de la huella dactilar en la pantalla durante el registro o comparación de la huellas
dactilares. Tiene dos valores: visualización permanente y sin visualización.
6.4. Reinicio-Reset
Efectúe la opción de comunicación del dispositivo, la opción de sistema y así sucesivamente

para volver a las configuraciones de la fábrica.

6.5 USB Upgrade-Actualización USB
Puede actualizar el programa firmware del terminal usando el archivo de actualización en el

disco USB mediante este parámetro.
Si necesita el archivo de actualización del firmware, por favor contacta nuestro personal de
asistencia técnica. Generalmente, la actualización del firmware no se recomienda.
7. Personalización-Personalize
Toque la tecla M/OK en el Seleccione Personalize y toque OK. Seleccione User Interface
teclado/ interfaz. y toque OK.
7.1. Interfaz del usuario-User Interface

Dependiendo de las preferencias personales, los usuarios pueden configurar el estilo de la
interfaz inicial.
Toque para seleccionar User Toque / y OK para seleccionar los menús.

Interface y toque OK. Cuando las configuraciones se finalizan,
toque OK para guardar y salir.
Wallpaper: Los usuarios pueden escoger la imagen de fondo para mostrala en la pantalla.
Language: Puede seleccionar un idioma para el dispositivo en función de sus requerimientos.
Lock power key: Para impedir el cierre accidental/deseado del dispositivo, seleccione si desea
desactivar la función de cierre del botón o no. desactivación: la alimentación está cerrada 3
segundos después del cierre de la alimentación. Enable (Activación): es ineficiente después de
tocar cerrar.
Meniu Screen Timeout: El dispositivo se visualizará automáticamente en la interfaz principal

cuando no se realiza ninguna operación sobre un menú, después de pasar el tiempo de timeout
del menú. (Esta función se puede desactivar, sino el valor varía de 60 s a 99999s.)
Idle Time To Slide Shows: La imagen de fondo se muestra cuando no se realiza ninguna
operación en la interfaz principal durante el tiempo de espera. (Esta función se puede
desactivar, sino el valor varía de 3 s a 999s.)
Slide Shou Interval: Este parámetro se usa para configurar el intervalo de las imágenes
cíclicas (el dominio de valor: 0-999 segundos).
Idle Time To Sleep(m): Este parámetro se usa para especificar un período después del que el
dispositivo se pone en el modo de espera si no se opera durante este período. Puede sacar el
aparato del estado de reposo al tocar cualquier tecla o al tocar la pantalla. El intervalo
numérico entre 1-30 minutos, por defecto de la fábrica durante 3 minutos.
Main Screen Style: configure donde y como se muestra la hora y la tecla de estado en la
patantalla principal.
Company name: Cuando se especifica un nombre de compañía, puede elegir imprimir el

nombre de la compañía en las configuraciones de impresión.
Notas: El nombre de la compañía es solamente en le caso en que la función de impresión

abierta se puede eliminar.
7.2. Voz-Voice
Toque para seleccionar Toque / y OK para seleccionar

Voice y toque OK. la configuración. Cuando la
configuración se finaliza, toque OK
para guardar y salir.
Voice Prompt: Este parámetro se usa para establecer si sean reproducidos los mensajes de voz
durante el funcionamiento del terminal FFR. Seleccione ON para activar el mensaje de voz y
seleccione OFF para desactivarlo.
Keyboard Prompt: Este parámetro se usa para establecer si se genera un sonido como
respuesta a cada toque del teclado. Seleccione ON para activar el sonido y seleccione OFF
para desactivar el sonido.
Volúmenes: Este parámetro se usa para ajustar el volumen de mensajes de voz.
7.3. Timbre programado-Bell Schedules

Muchas empresas necesitan un timbre para empezar y finalizar el programa de trabajo.
Algunos usan un timbre accionado manualmente. Otros usan un timbre electrónico. Para
ahorrar los costes y ofrecer comodidad para gestión, integramos las funciones del timbre al
sensor de la huella dactilar. Puede configurar una hora para el timbre. Cuendo el timbre está
programado, el aparato reproducirá automáticamente el tono de llamada seleccionado y
disparará la señal del relé. La reproducción del tono de llamada no se para hasta que la
duración de la llamada no ha pasado. Por defecto, el dispositivo ofrece 15 tonos de llamada.

Bell Status: Para activar o desactivar el timbre.
Bell Time: El timbre suena automáticamente cuando es la hora especificada.
Repeat: especifica si desea repetir el tono de llamada.
Bell Type: Puede seleccionar el timbre interno y el timbre externo. Para la llamada interna, el
tono de llamada está reproducido por el difusor del terminal. Para la llamada externa, el tono
de llamada está reproducido por una campana eléctrcia externa que está conectada al terminal.
Ring Tone: tipo de timbre
Internal bell delays: menciona la duración de reproducción de los tonos de llamada. El valor
varía entre 1 s y 999 s.
Nota: Solamente algunos modelos tienen opciones de timbre externo.

Punch State Mode: se usa para seleccionar una manera de estado del sistema de fichaje. Son
disponibles las siguientes maneras:
Off: La función de las teclas de estado está desactivada. Las teclas de estado definidas como
teclas de acceso rápido vuelven indisponibles.
Manual Mode: Las teclas de estado se cambian manualmente y la tecla de estado corriente
será desactivada después de que el tiempo preconfigurado caduca.
Auto Mode: Si una tecla de estado para mandos rápidos está configurada para estar cambiada
después de un cierto período de tiempo, la tecla de estado se cambia automáticamente después
del paso del tiempo.
Manual and Auto Mode: La interfaz principal muestra las teclas de estado que se pueden
cambiar automáticamente y puede, también, cambiar manualmente las teclas de estado. Una
tecla de estado seleccionada manual se cambiará en función del plan de cambio automático
después de que desaparece después de un tiempo de caducidad.
Manual Fixed Mode: Después de que una tecla de estado está cambiada, esta está visualizada
siempre hasta que la inicia de nuevo.
Fixed Mode: Una tecla de estado está siempre visualizada y no se puede cambiar.
Punch State Timeouts: menciona el período de caducidad de la tecla de estado visualizada en

Punch State Required menciona si tiene que seleccionarse el estado de la verificación de la

presencia al lugar de trabajo durante la autenticación.
7.5. Mandos para teclas rápidas-Shortcut Key Mappings

Puede definir seis teclas de mando rápido como teclas de corta duración para el estado de
presencia o teclas funcionales rápidas. En la interfaz principal del terminal, toque las teclas
adecuadas, y el estado de presencia se visualizará o la interfaz funcional se visualizará
rápidamente.

mencionada. Si está seleccionada una tecla de estado, el dispositivo no usará tecla de estado
alguna cuando la función de la tecla de estado está desactivada.
8. Gestión de datos- Data Mgt.
Toque la tecla M/OK Seleccione Data Manager y Seleccione Delete Data y

en la interfaz/teclado. toque OK. toque OK.
8.1. Eliminación datos-Delete Data

A través del menú Data Mgt, puede realizar la gestión de los datos almacenados en el
terminal, por ejemplo, eliminación de los registros de fichaje, todos los datos e imágenes
promo/fondo, limpiar los derechos de administración y reinicio del terminal a los valores
preestablecidas de la fábrica.
Seleccione Delete Data y toque OK. Toque y OK para seleccionar

las opciones que quedan en ser eliminadas.
Delete Attendance Date: Elimine todos los registros de fichaje.
Delete All Data: Elimine toda la información sobre el personal registrado, incluso las huellas
dactilares y grabaciones de presencia.
Delete Access Control: Elimine todos los registros del control de acceso.
Clear Admin Role: Cambie todos los administradores para los usuarios comunes.
Delete WallPaper: Elimine las imagenes de fondo.
Delete Screen Savers: Elimine todas las imagenes promocionales de fondo cargadas en los
discos USB al terminal de fichaje. (Para los detalles sobre la carga de las imagenes
promocionales, vea 5.4. Upload Picture).
8.2. Copia de reserva-Backup Data
Haga una copia de reserva para los datos de servicio o de los datos de configuración del
dispositivo en el dispositivo o en una unidad USB.

9. Configuraciones Access Control
La opción de control del aceso es útil para abrir una puerta por un usuario, bloqueo del mando
y los parámetros del dispositivo conexo.

teclado inicial. Control y toque OK. Control Options y toque OK.
9.1. Access Control Options

Configure los parámetros para controlar la cerradura electromagnética y/o el dispositivo
asignado.
Door Lock Delays: Bloqueo electrónico del dispositivo de control del dispositivo está durante
el tiempo de activación. (valor efectivo 1-10 segundos).

11.1 Cargar

Download y toque OK. las opciones que tienen que ser cargadas.
Upload User Data: Cargue el mensaje almacenado en un disco USB en el terminal.
Upload work code: se usa para cargar las ID-es de trabajo en una unidad USB en el
dispositivo.
Upload Short Message: se usa para cargar un mensaje corto en una unidad USB en el
dispositivo.
Upload Screen Saver: Cargue los documentos JPG con ad_ como letras capitales de
denominaciones de documentos almacenados en un disco USB en el terminal. Después de
cargarlas, estas imágenes se pueden visualizar en la interfaz inicial del terminal. (Para detalles
sobre las especificaciones de las imágenes, consulte Appendix 2 Image Upload Rules)
Upload Wallpaper: Cargue los documentos JPG con 1-10 .jpg como letras capitales de
denominaciones de documentos almacenados en un disco USB en el terminal. Después de
cargarlas, estas imágenes se pueden visualizar en la interfaz inicial del terminal. (Para detalles
sobre las especificaciones de las imágenes, consulte Appendix 2 Image Upload Rules)
11.1. Opciones de descarga-Download Options

Puede criptar los datos en una unidad USB y configurar y eliminar los datos después de
haberlos descargado. Cuando descargue los registros de fichaje, puede configurar tambien el
tipo de agenda mostrado durante el fichaje. El dispositivo acepta 3 tipos de calendario: el
calendario Gregoriano, Iran Gregoriano, Iran Lunai para escoger.

12. Buscar fichaje-Attendance Search
El registro de fichaje del empleado se guardará en el dispositivo. Para la conveniencia de la
interrogación está prevista la función de búsqueda de los registros de fichaje.

Appendix 1 Función de impresión-Print function*
