Sub:- Complaint against Angelone Securities Limited- unauthorized way handled my demat account and lost my
entire capital of Rs. 125000.00 in a single day by Angelone Securities Limited on 11.05.2023

I am studying in B.Tech Bio technology II and year and wish to earn a passive income to support my family and planned
to open a demat account..
I opened my demat account in Angelone Securities Limited SEBI Reg No. Broking INZ000161534 ( BSE - 612 ) | ( NSE -
12798 ) on 08th May, 023 and simultaneously I have transferred Rs. 1,25,000 (One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand Ony) on
10th May, 2023 to my demat account in Angelone Securities Limited for trading.
Mr.Aashish Desai (Mobile Nos: 9054541124, 8128620655) who introduced himself as a authorized representative of
Angelone Securities Ltd and based on his conversation I opened a demat account in Angelone Securities Limited.
Mr.Ashish Desai has asked me to share the username and password for activiation F&O section. With protest I shared my
demat login credential to Mr.Ashish Desai and told very clearly that in case of any trading on behalf of me, I would not
allow such trading on behalf of me. He assured that login credentials only for activation purpose and if any one want to
login to my demat account OTP would be required for enter my account and trading.
On 10th May, 2023, Rs.48.59 has been deducted from demat account and checked Mr.Aashish Desai the transaction of the
same he conveyed that it was a sample trade for activation of F&O section.
On 11th May, 2023 I noticed that my Angelone demat account was debited of Rs. 126951.88. Someone from Angelone
Securities Ltd has traded in index option ( nifty option) in my demat account and lost Rs. 125000.00 on index expiry day.
They traded 71750 quanties in last 30 minutes on expiry day. This unauthorised transaction is not acceptable for me the
way Angelone was lost my entire capital.
I never asked anyone to trade or authorize or gave power of attorney anyone to trade on behalf of me. And never
approved, gave permission or authorised the trade happened on 11.05.2023 in my demat account. And I never shared
OTP to anyone on 11.05.2023.
I was shocked and immediately called Angelone Securities Limited and they did not answer properly. I sent a mail to
Angelone Securities on 12th May, 2023 and they yet to reply my mail for the loss of my capital of Rs. 125000.00. Angelone
is just ignoring my mail and they are not serious about my capital loss of Rs. 125000.00
Except for activation of F&O section, I never shared my demat account password to any Angelone employee or their
authorised representative and never authorized any one to trade my demat account on behalf me. Without my proper
written or oral authorization and power of attorney, Angelone employee or its authorised person has operated my
demat account incurred me a loss of Rs. 126951.88 in a single day on index expiry day (11.05.2023) by trading themselves
on nifty option. I herewith attached a contract note for your perusal and further action.
I hereby certify that I never called and asked any employee or their authorised agent of Angelone Securities Ltd to trade
on behalf of me and never shared my demat password and OTP to any employee or their authorised agent of Angelone.
I request NSE to take severe action against Angelone Securities Ltd fo rtheir illegal activity of trading mine demat account
incurred loss of Rs.126951.88 in a single day. I request NSE to pass appropriate orders to Angelone Securities Ltd- to pay
or refund Rs. 125000 ( Amount Rs. One Lakh Twenty Five Thousand only) to my demat account for their fraudulent activity
of trading mine demat account without proper approval from me and proper power of attorney oral instructions from
me.
If my prayer will not be considered at the earliest, I do not have any other option but to file a criminal action against
Angelone Securities Ltd. I hope that NSE will take severe action against Angelone Securities Ltd- and will pass necessary
orders to Angelone Securities Ltd- to pay or refund my money of Rs.125000 which was illegally traded by Angelone
Securities Ltd employee or their authorised agent without my power of attorney and consent letter.
