Investigation shows that the tilt ram counter balance balance cartridge
cartridge valve can come loose, resulting in hydraulic valve
oil leakage past the O-ring seal.
Warranty Instruction
All the new machines from serial number 1545414
have the counter balance cartridge valve tightened Service Reference Number: ZW18
to 45N-m during manufacture. Service Code H120
Description Tilt Ram Counter
Procedure balance cartridge valve
1. Make the machine safe. Refer to the procedure Repair Time 4.00h
in the Operator's Manual. Failed Part 333/R7500
Qty. 1
2. Strip down the boom section, to inspect the
leakage area
3. If the leak is found to be coming from the valve
area, remove the current valve.
3.1. Clean the valve area and replace the
counter balance cartridge valve.
3.2. Tighten the counter balance cartridge valve
to the correct torque valve.
Torque: 45N·m (33.2lb.ft)
3.3. Install the boom section and test.
