The aim of the present document is to provide a procedure for performing Scaffolding for erection &
dismantle of access platform in HRSG-2.

The multiline team will carry out a Scaffolding activity.

Work will be undertaken in accordance with the following documents

  Risk Assessment
 PTW (Permit to Work)

SUMMARY OF EQUIPMENT THAT CAN BE USED

 Common Tools.
 All PPE as per safety requirements

Scope of Work:
Scaffolding Install/Dismantle required and Perform Insulation removal/fixing work: HRSG-2 BFP-A
RECIRCULATION LINE VALVE (P22LAC11AA001) PASSING.

Shutdown requirement – Not applicable

DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
PROCEDURE:
1. Obtain a work permit from the shift engineer.
2. Ensure that the work is being carried out in the correct location/Identify KKS number.
3. Ensure that the base level/structure is capable to withstand the load of scaffolding.
4. Ensure Scaffolders are trained and all the foreseeable risks of scaffold operations are
communicated.
5. Carefully inspect the materials for visible defects such as cracks, and corrosion and that bolts
and rivets are secure. Tag and remove unsafe ladders from service.
6. Do not engage if there is any adverse weather condition such as rain and heavy wind.
7. Inspect the tools and equipment on a daily basis, and remove damaged image equipment’sPPEss
(safety harness, hand tools)
8. Shifting of scaffolding material Perform Insulation removal/fixing work: HRSG-2 BFP-A
RECIRCULATION LINE VALVE (P22LAC11AA001) PASSING .
9. Erection of scaffolding for.
10. Dismantling of scaffolding after work is completed & getting feedback from responsible
person.
11. Make sure the housekeeping activities are done in the workplace.
12. Close the work permit.
SAFE METHOD OF WORK
 Before work will commence Acceptor will prepare POWRA & Perform toolbox talk to
communicate the hazards that may arise during the course of work.
