Requirements
The table below outlines the requirements for this preconfigured demonstration.
Table 1. Requirements
Required Optional
NOTE: This demonstration contains all virtual devices, so some features (especially on the switches) will not be available.
All the devices have a base configuration with a configured hostname, their interfaces set to no shut, and CDP enabled. There is
no external connectivity to any of the routers or switches in this environment. You are limited to exactly the 20 routers and 5
switches in this environment (though that number can be expanded with the use of VRFs and VLANs).
Using the power of dCloud you can also save custom copies of this demonstration. If you design a complex scenario and want to
save it, write memory on all your devices and then use the Save option within the dCloud GUI. This saves the demo to the Custom
Content section of your My Hub page.

Topology
A summary diagram is provided, since there are too many interfaces cabled to provide a detailed cabling diagram via a picture.

Get Started
BEFORE PRESENTING
Cisco dCloud strongly recommends that you perform the tasks in this document with an active session before presenting in front of
a live audience. This will allow you to become familiar with the structure of the document and content.
It may be necessary to schedule a new session after following this guide in order to reset the environment to its original
configuration.
Follow the steps to schedule a session of the content and configure your presentation environment.
2. For best performance, connect to the workstation with Cisco AnyConnect VPN [Show Me How] and the local RDP client on
your laptop [Show Me How]

Steps
1. On the Wkst1 VM, several connection methods are provided for your convenience. You can use PuTTY, MTPuTTY, or
mRemoteNG as your application for accessing the routers and switches. Bookmarks to all the devices are available in each of
those applications.
NOTE: Alternately, you can directly connect to the routers and switches if you AnyConnect VPN into the topology and use the
connection table provided in Appendix B.
2. For example, from Wkst1, double click on the MTPuTTY, mRemoteNG, or PuTTY icon.
3. The MTPuTTY start page displays. All the connections are labeled with their respective hostname.
