SAFETY - STRAP JOINT INSPECTION

Never handle or ship any load with improperly formed joints.

Misformed joints may not secure the load and could cause serious injury.

1. Inspect strap joints at the beginning of each shift to make sure

the straps have been properly welded.

2. The welded area should extend the full length and width of the
gripper impression. A good weld will show some material
displacement along the edges.

If the joint does not appear as shown, review the GCU-SmartFlex operating instructions.
