Final Exam – Literary Appreciation
From 2 poems, I chose the second part entitled "Richard Chory" by Edwin
Arlington Robinson. I paraphrased the poem into a short story.

Richard Cory was a nice person. Every time he walked outside, people
always stared at him amazingly. He was a man with good appearance from head to
toe. He was always tidy. When he spoke to people, he was friendly and polite.
Even though he was polite, he could make people happy when they were talking to
him. He had charisma when he was walking and saying Good Morning. He was a
very wealthy person until every one wanted to be him. People worked hard for a
better life although sometimes the result was not satisfying. But in a summer,
Richard Cory shot his head. We can learn that something we see may be different
from the truth.
