Synopsis

The classic American book "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" was written by Mark TwainThe
novelset in the middle of the 19th centuryThe novel is focuses on the adventures of a little boy
named Huckleberry Finn as he journeys down the Mississippi River with his friendJim.

Huckleberry Finn is a rebellious and independent-minded boyHe lives with Widow Douglaswho
attempts to civilize himHe also had a father who was an abusive personOne dayHuck's alcoholic
father kidnaps him and locks him in a cabinHenceHuck decides to escapeHe fakes his own death
and ran away to Jackson's Islandwhere he encounters Jim, Miss Watson's slave who is seeking
freedom. Huck has been taught to think that it is wrong to help a slave who is trying to escapebut
as time goes by he develops a bond relationship with JimThusThey decide to having an adventure
together while rafting down the Mississippi River

Huckleberry and Jim run into a several of obstacles, as well as they encounter various characters
and situations along the way. They are run into the blood feud families (Grangerfords family and
Stepherdsons family), a group of thieves on a steamboat, and swindlers, the Duke and the King
who join them on the raft and try to deceive them. One day, Jim was sold to the Phelps family by
the swindlers while Huck was awayThen, Huck must make a crucial decision in that situation. He
chooses to follow his conscience and helps Jim escape, despite the risks and the societal
consequences of his actions.
