“HIM”

In the depths of darkness where the sun cannot reach

In the depths of our darkess hour
Where sadness reigns and joy seems out of reach
When our hearts are pounderous and our vitality our caustic

There is a presence that can bring relief

A loving God who brings hope to grief
There is God who propose us his power
A love that washes us decent like a shower

So when the weight of melancholy feels too much to bear

And the pain of depression seems hard to share
There is God who understands our pain
A comforter who holds us close in his embrace

For though we stumble and fall along the way

And though our mistakes seems to lead us astray
There is God who forgives us each day
And offers us a new path to make our way

With his grace and mercy we can rise above the pain
And find the strength to face each day again
Remember that there is a loving God above who cares for us and fills our hearts with love

His love is a river that flows so deep

A grace that washes away the stain we keep
A mercy that gives us a second chance to reap
And a hope that helps us rise and leap

So let us embrace the love that God gives

And let his grace wash away our sins
In his forgiveness we can truly live
And walk in the light that never dims
