Prepare some pictures of land transportation.

B. Motivation
Ask: How do you go to school? How long does it take you to reach the
school if you walk? If you take a tricycle, bus or jeepney?
Write the pupils’ responses on the board.
Write down the common means of transportation on the board.
C. Presentation
Present a bar graph and let the pupils study the bar graph.

Ask some questions about the graph.
1. What does this bar graph show?
2. What information is in the horizontal axis? Vertical axis?
3. Which way or means of coming to school is used the most?
4. Which way or means of coming to school is used the least?

1. How many pupils ride a bus to school?
