How To Register Unregister Onu Olt Zte

This document provides instructions for configuring a ZTE ONU F660 device connected to an OL01 optical line terminal. It includes steps to: 1. Configure the ONU type and interfaces on the OL01. 2. Set up tcont and gemport profiles to define bandwidth allocation. 3. Create VLANs and associate them with gemports and ONU interfaces. 4. Register an unconfigured ONU and associate the configured profiles, VLANs, and other settings. The goal is to set up two VLANs - one for routing and one for bridging - on the ONU to separate traffic flows.

In This case , Let’s go to configure ZTE ONU F660 Type.

1. Configuring ONT Type

[Link] Tcont Profile

OL01#config t
OL01(config)#gpon
OL01(config-gpon)#profile tcont 100m type 3 assured 16238 maximum

3. Configuring gemport profile

OL01#config t
OL01(config)#gpon
OL01(config-gpon)#profile traffic UP-20M sir 22016 pir 22016
OL01(config-gpon)#profile traffic DOWN-20M sir 23552 pir 23552

OL01(config-gpon)#profile traffic DOWN-25M sir 28160 pir 28160

4. Configuring Vlan

OL01#config t
OL01(config)#vlan 222
OL01(config-vlan)#name test1
OL01(config-vlan)#exi
OL01(config)#vlan 333
OL01(config-vlan)#name test2
OL01(config-vlan)#

5. Detecting Unregistered ONU

OL01#sho gpon onu uncfg

OnuIndex Sn State
———————————————————————
gpon-onu_1/2/4:1 AAABBBCCC unknown

That Ont locating at slot 2 port 4 (“:1″you can ignore this sign)

Unregistered ONU, At this phase , PON indicator is blinking.

6. Registering Onu / ONT

OL01#sho gpon onu sta gpon-olt_1/2/4

OnuIndex Admin State OMCC State O7 State Phase State
—————————————————————————-
gpon-onu_1/2/4:1 enable enable operation working
gpon-onu_1/2/4:2 enable enable operation working

First , Checking how many registered onu existing at that port ?

Why ? Look at the end of gpon-onu there’s onu id number with “:1” and
“:2”

so You have to registered with another onu id number.

OL01#sho run int gpon-olt_1/2/4
Building configuration…
!
interface gpon-olt_1/2/4
onu 1 type F660 sn bbbdddeee
onu 2 type F660 sn fffggghhh

OL01#conf t
OL01(config)#int gpon-olt_1/2/4
OL01(config-if)#onu 3 type F660 sn AAABBBCCC — > after configured
this command . the PON indicator change into solid.

OL01(config)#int gpon-onu_1/2/4:3
OL01(config-if)#description test
OL01config-if)#tcont 1 profile 100m
OL01(config-if)#gemport 1 name V111 unicast tcont 1 dir both
OL01(config-if)#gemport 1 traffic-limit upstream UP-20M downstream
DOWN-20M
OL01(config-if)#gemport 2 name V222 unicast tcont 1 dir both
OL01(config-if)#gemport 2 traffic-limit upstream UP-25M downstream
DOWN-25M
OL01(config-if)#switchport vlan 222 tag vport 1

OL01(config-if)#switchport vlan 333 tag vport 2

OL01(config-if)#exit

OL01(config)#pon-onu-mng gpon-onu_1/2/4:3
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow 2 switch switch_0/1

You don’t have to configure “flow 1 switch switch_0/1” because this is

default.

OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow mode 1 tag-filter vid-filter untag-filter discard

OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow mode 2 tag-filter vid-filter untag-filter discard
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow 1 priority 0 vid 222
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow 2 priority 0 vid 333
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#gemport 1 flow 1
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#gemport 2 flow 2
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#switchport-bind switch_0/1 iphost 1
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#ip-host 1 dhcp-enable true ping-response true
traceroute-response true
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#vlan-filter-mode iphost 1 tag-filter vid-filter untag-
filter discard
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#vlan-filter iphost 1 priority 0 vid 222
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#vlan port eth_0/2 mode tag vlan 333

and Finished.

That’s Meaning for Vlan 222 routing Mode and Vlan 333 is bridging mode
at port 2
You can configure 1 tcont for 1 gemport for 2 VLAN

OL01(config-if)#description test
OL01config-if)#tcont 1 profile 100m
OL01(config-if)#gemport 1 name V111 unicast tcont 1 dir both

DOWN-20M
OL01(config-if)#switchport vlan 222 tag vport 1
OL01(config-if)#switchport vlan 333 tag vport 1

OL01(config-if)#exit

OL01(config)#pon-onu-mng gpon-onu_1/2/4:3
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow 2 switch switch_0/1
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow mode 1 tag-filter vid-filter untag-filter discard
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow 1 priority 0 vid 222
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow 1 priority 0 vid 333
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#gemport 1 flow 1

filter discard
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#vlan-filter iphost 1 priority 0 vid 222
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#vlan port eth_0/2 mode tag vlan 333

How to make Vlan 222 routing mode also.

OL01(config)#pon-onu-mng gpon-onu_1/2/4:3
OL01(gpon-onu-mng)#flow 2 switch switch_0/1
