Sourov, a 20 year old boy came to Don Bosco Tech society, Kokar, Ranchi as a part of SASAKAWA
project. He is a resident of Hooghly, West Bengal survived by three family member- his father, who is an
LIC agent, A mother who is a home maker and a younger brother who is a student. He completed his
schooling from Hooghly and dreamt of having his own business.

Initially, Sourov had no idea about hospitality and decided to know more about it and got enrolled in it.
Sourov only knew English and Bengali. Gradually with the help of his classmates he also learnt Hindi. He
realized that good communication plays a very pivotal role in the hospitality industry and therefore he
made every effort to improve his communication skill.

During training, Sourov came out as a bright student, guided by his instructor/ trainer Sir Abhishek
Kumar (Food and beverage service). He had a good hold in all the topics and expressed his wish of
becoming self-employed after training. On the advice of Sir Abhishek (Trainer) he appeared for various
interviews in order to understand the way how a hospitality industry works- its management,
administration and execution before he takes the big leap of becoming an entrepreneur. Finally he came
competed his training with flying colours.

Sourov is now placed in Absolute Barbeque Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, which is a very popular Barbeque buffet
restaurant. He holds the post of junior officer operation with a starting salary of Rs. 12405/- per month.

Don Bosco Tech Society wishes Sourov all the very best for his new job and good luck for his future
endeavors.
