A General Outlook of the Seaworthiness in Unmanned Ships in terms of

International Transportation Conventions

Abstract: Maritime transport has an very


important place in world trade. It is
predicted that unmanned ships will be in
a critical position in this sector in the
future. Studies on unmanned ships have
been carried out by both the private
sector and the governments for a long
time. It should be noted that while
conducting technical studies on
unmanned ships, discussing the legal
aspects and offering suggestions for
regulations to be made will increase the
confidence of the sector in unmanned
ships. This study made evaluations on

navigation of ships, and it has been

concluded that this issue should be the
