Prolog

The eternal night,a curse that bloomed since the begining of the time.A world with no light and warm of
a sun,where the concept of day was only a dream and a tale told to the kids,but there was light one that
could shine in the eternal darkness,a light as pure as the sky forming colorful siluets becoming the guide
of all living creatures on this planet.Darkness eating even the sound of the night,filling the air with a
fearful tranquillity (silence).(There are stories that in the past)In this fearful admosphere there is a living
being,a human as they called themselfs,a race that had no God (deity)to guide and protect them.Yet the
very absence of a God was the least of their problems,they had no power,no magic flowing throught
their blood,being the weakest of the weakest,no god would choose to become their ''Guardian''.
[,running for it's life.][of the world or so it would seem at a first glance][monsters dweling in the
tranquillity]

Even with no God guiding them they keep on living against all odds,running from the creatures of the
night,living in small communitys,taking shelter in caves,mining for minerals and growing weeds not even
thinking of going out in the night living on the surface,a place tainted by the war between the followers
of the gods,a war that kept raging since the begining of life.There are tales that says that the first Deity
Seot splited himself in 30 pices forming the first planet Denus,imbuing it with its power allowing the
start of the beggining of the Univers,birthing the Gods and Goddess each one with it's own
followers,together with them 6 new planets rised from
nothingnes(Avilia,Vellezuno,Nadirius,Seanus,Xenov,Ilius) surrounding the planet Denus,all of them being
connected with chains of light as shining as a star and as burning as the earth,making travel between the
planets posible.(each planet has a dominant race leading the rest)

Even after thousands and thousands of years fighting against the creatures of the night and the other
races,no Deity would choose to guard and guide the humans,a race forsaken since the very start leaving
with no hesitation the weak behind,not hesitating to kill their own kind for one's own benefits,it was as
if they were not meant to exist since the beginning.Fighting to survive today to live for tomorrow,an
endless loop that will never cease to exist,followed by the only rule of this wretched world,a rule that all
the races followed with no hesitation,'the strong will Rise and the Weak will fall',this...this is how life is.

Mc’s Monolog

Darkness ,the same dream once again,chained in this place,forced to face the personification of my sins
and fears over and over again.Chained on the ground unable to move looking at the barrel of the gun
that is pointed at me by another me chained,unable to press the trigger.We are bound to look at each
other unable to move and change looking back at the past over and over again until I wake up.I don’t
know when it all started,but I know when it will end. [that it will end when my life is over,like all
things,everything must die at one point].Always the end is the most predictable and I know that once
this nightmare ends,my body and soul will be no more.Having no one to remember me or even my
name,disappearing as I was never there from the beginning.This is the path that this world offers,a path
that couldn’t be changed,we are the weakest of the weakest and even so there is danger even between
our own kind.Living and die at any moment,taking any danger for the right price,this,is the life that I
have chosen,the life of a mercenary.As I wake up from this nightmare once more,I find myself covered in
wounds and bandages ,lied on a bed,almost unable to move because of the pain.Even the slightest move
of my body puts an enormous stress on me but,I wanted to know,how did I get here and why I am here,
I must know.As my mind was stormed by those questions[with no answers],with all of this pain I felt my
left hand hot and sweaty, intriqued as to why does it feels like that and t he rest of my body feels cold
and in pain.Using the power that I had left in me,I started turning my head slowly and steady toward my
left hand.As the pain was erupting inside of me at the slightest move I kept moving my head toward my
left side,ignoring the pain in the process,focusing my mind and body on only one task and one
purpose,finding out what is wrong with my left hand.Even after living for five years as a
mercenary,expecting the unexpected using my mind to overcome the difference in strength
minimalizing the danger,predicting the outcome,even so I never imaginated this ever happening.I just
couldn’t belive,me,a mercenary despised by everyone is hold by the hand by a girl.Her silvery hair was
so beautiful that it could’ve easy reflect the light of the room,her sleepy face was so innocent almost like
a baby,even so,no one in this world is safe,one of her eyes was slightly burned and her hands had
bruises and scars.Even so,I am only able to see half of her face.After staring at her for a little while I felt
how vision started to go blurry and my counscious fading,darkness enveloping me once more coming in
the place of the pain,being left with only one question:What have I done?

V-I-Ch1.

The people that putted a foot on the surface are either some fools looking for their Eden,a paradise
were they could live and prospere,a place were they could call it home,or exiled people,left behind
because of their weakneses,behavior,or condition,those people had no hope,no dream,they knew since
the beginning that they are going to die and they accepted their fate.That is what happent at one of this
so called community(district),one of the biggest one in the North continent.Outside of it there were
many people,some were so old that they could not work anymore to contribute to their kind,some
criminals,killers that took wathever they pleased even if they had to use force,between those 2
categories there was 1 more,one created from the most forsaken people,the ones that couldn't work or
even live without the help of another person,they were of all ages from an infant with no parents to an
old man with only one arm.Between them there was one particular person,a black almost greysh haired
woman,her beauty could stun even the most rutless criminal,her eyes bright as the stars and fierce as
the fire,she had a slim figure,some could even say that she had the body of a Goddess,you could easy
tell that she was in her early twenties.Only an ignorant couldn't see such marvelous person before his
eyes,some would even wonder why she was there,she could have became one of the leader's wife or
even play some of the people from the community on her finger,little did the people knew that right
besider that woman there was another girl,a young girl hiding behind the beautiful lady,she looked like
she was in her early teen years,she had a long silver hair some even wondere how would she look like if
she had the opportunity to grow more,maybe she could've been more beautiful than the other
woman.Even so people kept wondering why such persons were between them what did they do to be
here,a beautiful woman and a charming little girl.As the people kept wondering they have seen the little
girl's eyes,her eyes were grey with a faint little red in the middle of them,the people knew that it was an
incurable illness some would call it a curse from the cave creatures making the ones that have it unable
to see.It was not hard to figure out why they were both there,why they were thrown out of their
community,the little girl was thrown out and the young woman just followed her keeping her
safe.Maybe she was her big sister or a close relative,even so,they all knew that the little girl should've
been left to die alone,maybe a quick death was the most mercifull way of saving someone's sanity and
soul in this world.

After a while the people formed groups taking even the weak people with them,to use them as they saw
fit.As they were forming some groups a few muscular people aproched the two girl.As they got closer,a
man that looked like their leader started to talk to the two girls.

-''Hah,the hearthless bastards.How could they abandon such beauties,have they gone mad?''

-''Yea,how could they?Are they mad?Do they have no hearth?''(The people behind him aproved of their
so called leader's question).

The older girl,holding her sister in her arms as strong as she could,stared coldly daggers at the people in
front of her saying:

-''What do you want?We didn't get thrown out,we are the one that choosed to get out so mind your
own bussiness and stop talking to me or my sister!''

Their leader,a bit visible flustrated at the answer he got from the girl leaned forward,getting closer to
the older girl's face,wispering in her ear:

-''And?My bussiness is to survive and I think that's your bussiness too,don't you think?''He was more
that he looked like,he had his way with the words,twisting them,hurting and manipulating his victim's
mind,he already knew the girl's weakness,pressing forward on it.

-''Do you think that you will be able to survive here?Outside!Think about all the possibilities and the
outcomes of the choises you make,think about your sister,do you think you will be able to take care of
her easy on your own?''

As the man kept wispering,making sure that he got in the girl's mind,controling her tought,trying to
make her obey him,he didn't even cared about the girl's sister,his only aim was to break the spirit of the
girl in front of him.

-''So?What do you say?Join us and make yourself a favor,we can even take care of your sister.''

The girl,after hearing all the man had to say,she slowly rised her right arm toward the man with a smile
almost pasted on her face,a smile that showed to emotion as if she wasn't even a real person,pushing
him aside telling him:

-''You only want us to join you so that you can just throw us in face of monsters and escape,I have seen
many people that does this,you are no diferent than them,so go ahead lead us toward the next [Camp?]
and use us as monster bait''As the man heared her response,a miscellaneous appeared on his
face,grapping violently the woman by her hair,lifting her towards him.

-''Good,good,you already know what's your place and where you stand,as long as you keep doing
so,maybe there can be a place for you and your sister''After saying those things he liked her left
cheek,throwing her back on the ground,making himself understood to the rest of the people that were
standing and looking at them.
-''From this moment forward when I say something I expect it to be done,if I tell you to die then you die
with no exception!!Did I make myself clear?''

As the woman was thrown on the ground,her little sister was scared and she was trying to find her,to
hold her hand,this mere action of her could even describe her past,a past where she was even thrown
away by her own parents because of her ilness,let to die alone in an alley,until she was found by another
child of the streets,living together as a familly even trough they weren't even blood related,they were
still sister nonetheless.Seeing her little sister so scared hurted her more than the pain of being hit and
thrown on the ground,it was a pain hard to find and understand in this time,she quicly grabed her hand.

-''I am here,I am here,I will always be beside you''Holding her so tight not even thinking about letting her
go.

-''I won't let anyone hurt you,I will protect you so you don't have to worry about anything,everything
will be fine.''

-''Sis,thank you.''

As the girls were left together crying and comforting each other's tears,the group of [Thugs] picked from
the people the ones that could be usefull to them they went thoward another[Camp?].Even after people
got thrown out of their own [Camp?]other [Camps?] will accept some of them,even if they had only a
leg missing or a hand they could still be usefull,especially the womans,they could even fetch a good
price on the market.In a world where death it's at every conner,even the weak finds ways to keep their
race alive even if they had to butcher and rape their own kind for their own benefits.The preparations
were made all that was left was for the leader to give the order to move out,and so he did with no
hesitation,he left the ones that looked like they couldn't even walk for 2 or 3 nights.

-''Let's move out,I don't want to waste anymore time on some good for nothing desmembred worms,let
the beast have their way with them.

-''Got it boss.''

On the way towards their next [Camp?] the people that went with the group of Thugs not because of
their free will but,because of their fears,all of them knew the danger that it was outside on the
surface,what could happen at any time,but still their will to survive moved them forward like some
mindless dolls.Even so,between those people there was the two girls that got bullied by the leader of
the Thugs,you could tell from afar that they still didn't gave up on life,the little one,even through she
was blind,she still had someone beside her,she had a pillar of hope,her big sister that she moved purely
to survive but not for herself but for her sister,she did not care if she will find her end,or,worst on the
road toward the [Camp?] but she knew for a fact,in that she was holding the hand of her sister not even
thinking about leting her go,a hand so delicate that even the smallest wind breeze could scratch her,she
was everything to her and she was happy for it,in this word of madness she could be happy thanks to
only one person,a purity that should have never be in this world,but there she was,holding her by her
hand never thinking to ever let go of her.

Everytime people tried to go toward another [Camp?] they encounter monsters and sometimes people
from the other races,this world has became tainted from their wars,monsters that were once the
entities of peace and order became the bringers of hell and tourment,leaving nothing behind
them,destroing anything that stood in their way.Even with those dangers,humans still kept
going,running from them and sometimes hiding,with time forming some safe locations marking them for
the others to use in case of iminent danger,the people that created those safe locations wished for the
people to stay safe between their kind,that's what they wanted but the greed of the human race was
too strong,they used those safe locations for murdering and stealing from the people killing their own
kind once again for their own benefits,many of those locations became [Outpost] for the bandits,taking
everithing from the travelers and sometimes even killing them for fun,that was the place that the group
was heading for,a place in wich they had no rights to express their words,a place that became an eden
for few and hell for others.

Time went by very fast,as there was no concept of day and night they couldn't know what time it
was,even so they walked for a long time with no pause leaving the ones that fainted on the road
behind,leting the beast feast on their bodies giving them enought time to get to an [Outpost],there,the
thugs could enjoy anything that their hearth could wish for,they had the resources,they had
food,water,womans,all of those stoled from the foolish travelers that saw the place as a safe
location,taking a break from their long road,leting their guard down as they didn't knew that they will
meet their end at the hands of their own kind.

A young man,an underling,he looked as if he was almost a teen exclaimed toward their boss:

-''We are close to our [Outpost] boss.''

-''Good,do you know what you have to do now,don't you?If you know then please tell me,I am too lazy
to tell the others what they should do,so tell so that way you can transmit the orders.''

-''Yes boss,as the [Outpost]is right in front of us and there are no more dangers near us,so once we get
there we should give the people some time to rest and some resources so that way they will be able to
continue moving towards the [Camp?].''

As the young man finished speaking,the Boss of the thugs puts his hand tenderly on the boy's neck
smiling and laugh towards him as if he was proud of the answer he received from the kid.The young man
was happy that the Boss acknowledged him and he started smiling proud laughting together with his
Boss,in a matter of seconds the young man's vision became blury he couldn't move nor speak he didn't
felt any pain it was as if he didn't felt anything anymore,as his vision started to darken he sees the face
of his Boss above him smiling,the kid was afraid,he couldn't comprehend what happent in that moment
when he was laughting with his Boss,as he looked at him from the ground trying to call for help his Boss
started punching him,again and again and again with all of his strenght,the boy wasn't even able to
protect himself,as his so called Boss kept on punching him to death,kicking him as hard as to make him
roll and hit a rock,he was at death's door,at that moment he was the place in wich his Boss stands there
was a pool of blood on a rock,he knew in that instant that his Boss grabbed him by the neck and
throwed him on the ground hiting his head by the rocks.As his Boss aproached smiling,the kid mustered
his last strenght to say only one word while cophing blood:

-''Wh...y?''

His Boss standing in front of him while smiling,grabbed once again the young man by his neck telling him
with a happy thone:
-''Why?You are asking why?[Hahahaha]''After he said those words he thrown the kid on the ground
once again,stading on him punching him and yelling at him while smilling.

-''Rest?Give them food and water?What are we?Some good samaritans?IN THIS WORD ONLY THE
STRONG SURVIVE,WE HAVE NO TIME TO THINK ABOUT THE WEAK WE USE THEM AS WE SEE FIT,THEY
ARE ONLY TOOLS FOR US AND YOU WANT TO TREAT THEM LIKE US,MEANING THAT YOU ARE A WEAK
BASTARD LIKE THEM,BORN FROM THE WEAKEST AND STAYED THE WEAKEST!''

As the Boss of the thugs kept on yelling and punching the boy to death no one dared to stop him,no one
dared to save that young man from death,even after his last breath the Boss kept on punching him
venting his flustration and anger on the kid's souless body,the stench of blood could be felt from miles
away,having the risck of atracting creatures hungry for blood.After punching the body for some time,the
Boss of the thugs got up and looked at his underlings smiling asking them only one thing as he was out
of breath from his exercise:

-''Is there...another fool..who thinks like him??''

As the others looked at their smiling Boss covered in blood,noone dared to aproach him or even answer
his question,all of them were shocked and scared by what they witnessed,and so their boss a little
refreshed from his workout said:

-''You know?Even silence is an answer and I like to think that I was made clear,so?Let us keep going shall
we?''

After this,they started to move once more toward the [Outpost],once there they didn't knew what will
happen to them,but they knew,that they had no rights and no power,they will become tools for the
thugs to satisfy their desire and so the time went on as nothing could stop it from flowing.The [Outpost]
was hidden in a mountain that may even be able to reach the stars,a place with only a narrow entrance
where people could enter in order of 4 or maybe 5 moving only forward with no other alternative
road,this could've been the perfect place for an a [Camp?],it has only one way in and out, and the
entrance was too small for the creatures to be able to enter the [Outpost] and kill everyone,but it was
long gone,taken by the bandits and murderers,this [Outpost] became more dangerous than the world
outside,there were no rules,no guards,only the strong had rights in this place and those rights were that
they could do anything that they wanted to.At the entrance,they were welcomed by a fat man with a
beard as long as him or maybe longer as he was dragging it on the ground.

-''Brother.So good to see that you are still in one piece.''[Adressing himself directly toward the leader of
the group]

As always the leader of the group didn't even flinched when he was welcomed by his brother,he had a
smile so inocent as a child looking at his brother,quickly raising his hands trying to hug him,rising him in
the air as if he was a child.

-''You are not so lucky to see me death,who do you think will take care of you?''
-''You do have a point brother,[not even you take care of me],you even bring back present''(As he was
looking at the frightened people he spoted a beauty between them,rising one of his eyebrown in the
process and licking his lips as if he was hungry)and exotic ones at that.''

-''You can satisfy your desire after we drink and talk what do you say?''

-''Yes..''(He was a little disapointed)

As he saw his brother sad,he turned toward his people,his smile dissapeared his face was frowned
striking fear in the people that saw him:

-''If someone dares touch that woman tonight it will be his last [move?],did I made myself clear?''

His gaze almost stunned all of the people that saw him,only few were able to muster the strenght to
even say yes.

-''Good.Now,shall we go brother?''Once he returned toward his brother,his face started to be bright,the

smile that he had when he got to see his brother was once again back,noone could've tought that he
was even able to kill a bug,but he was,inside of him something was broken something that could never
be repaired,but who could blame him,this wiched world has taken the minds and soul of many
people,he was like other people that saw the cruelty of this world.

Delighter by the action of his brother,he gave the people their orders.

‘’You,lot,take our esteemed quests to their [rooms].’’

‘’Yes boss,but what should we do with those two girls,shall we put them togheter with the rest of
them?’’

‘’No,put them in a separate [room].’’As he said that he started to sweat,his face kind of brightened with
a faint red,licking his lips as he looked at them.

‘’I like my meals to be fresh’’

‘’Understood boss.You’ve heard him,stop staring and get moving already!’’

The people started to move,controlled like a mindless herd of animals,unable oppose them or even say
something to them.This is the world where we live in,a world where the weak are preyed and ruled by
the strong.A world where free will is a lie and our lives aren’t even ours anymore.Even the girl who was
rebelling against them ,not even wanting to move and be controlled,looked down upon her scared
sister,clenching her teeths,starting to move,she knew what will happen to them.Her eyes,unwilling to
yeld until the very end,her burning soul and passion,she knew what she must do,waiting for the perfect
moment to escape together with her sister,or,at least make a way for her little sister to escape alone.

‘’We have arrived to your [rooms],esteemed quests,make yourself like home.’’

The [rooms]were nothing more than some filthy prison cells filled with people that looked like the didn’t
ate in weeks.The stench even made some of the people puke at the slightest move slowly corroding
their will.The whole place wretched of death,some cells even had body in putrefaction left in
them,sickening the rest of the inmates,killing them slowly and painful.
‘’This is going to be your new home,it’s kind of dirty,but everything could be solved by a woman’s
touch,if you know what I mean.’’As the [guards] opened the gate of one of the cells.one of the people
started to freak out.

‘’You can’t do this to us,you told us that we are going toward another[camp],I don’t want to die in this
shit hole!’’

As the guards startled by the man’s behavior,one of them approached him slowly with a smile as if it
was pasted on his face.

‘’Don’t worry my friend,it is only going to be for a while,so stop being so alarmed.’’The guard proceeded
to hug the man, trying to calm him down.

‘’See?Everything is O…K…A…Y.’’The guard started stabbing the man,having no problem with killing a
[man].He looked as if he was enjoying stabbing the man to death,laughting and feeling aroused at the
sight of blood on his hands,scratching his balls whole the soulless body fell on the ground.

‘’So,is there anyone that still can’t keep it’s shit together?’’

‘’No?Good…’’

‘’Then fucking move,get insede the cell you fucking pices of shit,you are ours now,we fucking own your
lives.’’

Scared,the people started to move inside the cell,not even looking at the direction of the guard,scared
of wat he might do to them.

‘’Wait!Not you two beauties,you two will be our boss’s meal tomorrow,so you need to be fresh, you are
coming with us.’’

As the guard got closer to them,he grabed the hand of the oldest girl dragging her face closer to
him,sniffing her face and hair in the process,liking his lips.

‘’Don’t worry,we will take good care of you two even after the boss had his fill.’’

The girl didn’t even looked at the man that grabbed her hand,being visibly disgusted by the stench of his
breath.After all of the people entered the cell,the guards took the girls to their [barracks] ,forcefully
throwing them in a back room.

‘’Don’t die until tomorrow or we will be the ones becoming the meal.’’Those were the last words that
the guards told them before tying and leaving them in the room.

‘’Sis,I am scared..’’Tears could be seen erupting from the girl’s [burned]eyes.

‘’Don’t worry,everything is going to be alright,we will manage,…somethow,.. like we always do.’’

Left alone,the two girls,one of wich was almost blind and the other herded with thoughts.They were
already in the[belly of the beast],what chooises do they have?The oldest girl started looking for a way to
untie their bondage and to escape from these scums.The room was only filled with boxes and barrels,it
looked like it was a storehouse for food and alcohol .Looking clouser at every conned of the
room,inspecting even the smallest thing that could help them escape.After a while of looking for a way
to escape,she spotted a small piece of metal at the conner of a box.Slow,crawling toward that box she
found a loose nail,using it to untie herself then her sister.Now, after the struggle of using a nail to cut
the rope,she had to find a way to escape together with her sister.The whole room was a dead end,no
window,only one door and lots of boxes and some barrels,what could they do,was there even a chance
at escaping,no,they had no time to waste as she could hear what the guards outside were talking.

‘’Man..the boss is going to have it’s way once again.’’

‘’Yea,I understand why you are so sad,the last two girls were beaten to death and strangled.’’

‘’They didn’t even allowed us to enjoy them and have our way.’’

‘’The boss is wicked as his brother,I heard that on the way here he killed one of the rookies because he
was bored.’’

Hearing those things tingled her,trembling at the tough of what will happen to her and her sister.But
what could they do,they had only boxes and barrels at their dispousal,looking at them over and over
again, thinking about a plan over and over again,her face started to brighten.

‘’I got an idea,quickly help me with those.’’

After a while even the guards outside stoped talking,silence enveloped the place,then,out of nowhere a
scream erupted from the room were the girls were.The guards quickly slamed the door open,looking of
the girls,but they were not there,where could they be,then out of nowhere barrels full of alcohol droped
on them,rendering them uncounscious.(The girls pilled up the boxes managing to lift the barrels on top
of them,droping them on the guards).

‘’Good,seems like it worked.’’

‘’Don’t you thinkg that this plan was kind of harsh?’’

‘’No,not even in the slightest,compared to what they wanted to do to us this is nothing.’’

While she was talking with her sister,she was looting the guards for something useful,sadly the guns got
wet making them unable to be used even so a gun was still a gun.

‘’The guns aren’t going to be of any use,they are too wet to be useful.Still take this one.’’

‘’Didn’t you said that they are useless now?’’

‘’Yes they are but we are the only ones that know that.’’

‘’Lets move on,the sound must’ve alerted them,we are running out of time.’’

‘’Okay,sis.’’

They had to quickly leave the scene of the commotion,they knew that they can’t go outside, or they will
be captured once again.They had nowhere to run,luckly the mines were connected with the
barracks.Having no other option and no time to waste they went deeper into the mines taking some of
the flashlights from the uncounscious guards,now they had to wait in the darkness for the opportunity
to leave this place.It wasn’t much until more guards started to appear looking for the cause of the
commotion,after seeing that the two that were placed to guard the girls were uncounscious and the girls
were gone they knew what will happen and they feared.

‘’What happent here?(visibly disturbed by what happent he looked in the [room]for the girls)WHERE
ARE THE GIRLS?’’

‘’They have managed to escape,sir.’’

‘’What are we going to tell the boss now?That two guarded mans were beaten by some fray girls?He will
kill us all!’’

‘’Not really,maybe if we just tell him that they died and we have thrown them away maybe he will
beli….’’The man couldn’t even finish his sentence,a knife with a rusty blade as long as a machete was
sticking out of the guy’s throat,it was the boss’s brother who killed that man.He was as always
smiling,even after the rusty blade of the knife was stuck in the guard’s throat and he couldn’t even
budge it,forcing it out,making the blood of the man spreading on the surrounding walls as if he was
painting them in red.After he finally managed to get the knife out of the guy’s throat he looked at the
guards that stood in front of him,asking them.

‘’So…?Where are the girls?’’His eyes struck fear in the man’s soul making him to almost pee himself, he
almost couldn’t say a thing but looking back at what he did to the other guard he quickly realized that he
must answer the question.

‘’T.T….They have escaped sir,they used the boxes and barrels that were inside the [room],dropping them
on top of the guards!’’

‘’Hmmm….Crafty girls crafty…So?Where are they now?’’

‘’They went into the mines sir!’’

‘’Good,and…why are you here?’’He looked at the guard with it’s eyes blank as a doll,moving closer to
the guy’s face smirking at him.

‘’We…we…we..(in an instant the man got on the ground begging for mercy)WE ARE SORRY SIR!!!We
didn’t went after the girls because we couldn’t right now sir!!Most of the guards are drunk because of
the welcome party and we can’t search the mines with only the people that we have avalible.WE ARE
TRULLY SORRY!!’’

‘’Good,good,at first I tought that you have disobeyed my orders and wanted to have a go at the girls but

grabbed the man’s hair,lifting him up,looking into his eyes as if he was trying to devour his soul, wiping
the bloody knife on the guard’s clothes,throwing him back on the floor.

‘’Gah.’’The guard visibly scared couldn’t even move,as the man came closer to his face,looking at him
with a blank face as if he had no emotions.

‘’If we don’t have the necessary people then hire some,so,what are you waiting for?’’After saying those
things,the guard quickly got back on his feet and started to run,knowing what he must do to live and
that he had to hurry.
‘’Hah,(the man started laughing as the guard run to hire some people)seems like this place got soft while
I was gone.Maybe I will stay for a little longer this time.’’

Mc’s Monolog

Hmmm,it seems like they came back with more people than when they left,or should I say,slaves?Who
knows,I have stayed in this place for only a week or maybe more, supplying my ammo and resources
and it won’t be long before I leave this place.The boss of this place is a useless pig that hold the power
thanks to his brother.Sometimes the relationship between those two kind of reminds of me and my
older brother,he took care of me even in his last moments of life....Even so..my brother never was so
hearthless as those two.Still I am a mercenary,I have no right to interfere with their business.I should be
left alone if I keep a low profile for the time being,I will get the materials that I need and some
ammo,then I will have no more reasons to stay in this place for more than my welcome.This place has
one of the biggest mines,having some good ores like Orochild one of the few stones that could reflect
magic to some extend,they even have some Chilliban a flexible, light and resistant metal that I use in
forging my chains and weapons the only down side of this metal is that once it gets wet it will be
rendered useless,unless you coat it in the fat of some Derkards found inside of the mines.

Heh,it seems like it took a while to get all of this,I even got a nice deal for those knifes.

‘’Hey you,the one with black coat,you are one of the mercenaries right?

The boss wants all of the mercenaries to meet him at the [barracks] in two hours,understood?’’

As I turn toward the man that called me,I could only look at him,unable to talk because of the mask that
I wear,a mistake of the past,even so,I still want to give him an answer,so,I just stood and stared at him,
hoping that he will understand the meaning of my action.

‘’What?Do you want to start something?’’

Hm,seems like he thinks that I didn’t understood him and that I am rude to him,maybe I should get
closer to his face, maybe he didn’t saw my eyes and he thinks that I take him for a fool.

‘’F..uck,don’t you dare be late,do you hear me!?’’

I kept looking directly in his eyes in agreedment of what he told me,I kept looking at him even when he
was leaving,a bit in a hurry and his feets were kind of trembling,maybe he was in a hurry to relieve
himself ,who knows.Anyway it seems like I won’t be able to leave this place as fast as I wanted to.Hah,in
tow hours I will meet the Boss of this [outpost] or should I say Pig?Well who am I to judge.Well I kind of
wanted to hear more details as to why is he gathering the mercenaries but who knows I will hear at that
time.I still have 2 hours to waste,let’s take another look at the stores for the time being.

At that time I had no idea what will happen,but,I never expected this.

V-I-Ch2

Not long after the escape of the girls,the boss of the [outpost] heard of this he even killed some of the
guards to quill a bit of his rage.
‘’Those useless pieces of shit!!’’His face was so sweaty that you could water a whole tree with it,his body
odor could be smelled by the people even out of the room he was waiting.He was even eating with no
purpose of stopping,quilling his rage spitting pieces of food from his mouth while talking.

‘’They*CRANCH* had only one job*CRANCH*one fucking job and they couldn’t even do it properly and
*CRANCH*now I have to pay some mercenaries to get them back!!’’

‘’Don’t worry brother,they have nowhere to run,the mines have the same entrance and exit,it won’t be
long before they even starve.’’The boss’s brother was in the conner of the room smiling while
playing with a knife,waiting for the mercenaries to arrive,interested by what kinds of people this
place has gathered while he was away.

It wasn’t long before the door started to open slightly making a rusty sound in the process,at the very
moment the door was opened,the boss’s brother threw the knife at the door as he was trying to
kill the person that entered the room.Even so,he kept smiling and this time he was even
delighted by what he saw.The man that entered the room catch the knife that was threw at
him,twisting his wrist and throwing it back to it’s owner impaling the wall behind that man,
scratching his cheek.Even so the boss’s brother didn’t even flinched at the knife that was thrown
to him,he even took it from the wall and licked his blood of it staring at the man that entered
the room.

‘’E*CRANCH*nought of this nonsense*CRANCH* we have work to do,don’t we?*CRANCH*Take a sit

while we are waiting for*CRANCH* the rest of them.’’The man entered the room with no
hesitation or emotions it was as if he was a doll,following simple orders.The man was wearing a
black coat with a hood on his head covering his eyes and hair,even if he didn’t wanted to show
how much he had on him,the chains wrapped on his left hand and the pression that his feet left
on the floor cached their eyes they knew that he was heavly armed.He was a wanderer,a
mercenary,a man that will kill for the right price not even questioning his orders,fullifiling them
with no exception.The man silently a sat down on the cauch looking down while he was holding
in his left hand some kind of pendant,a reminder of someone,even so he didn’t even moved his
right arm from his pockets not even the slightest bit.

‘’Hey*CRANCH*bro,is he…(he was making circles in the air close with his sweaty face with the piece of
meat that he was devouring throwing a bit of fat from it in the air in the process)you know?’’

‘’Heh,brother,you don’t need to be scared,there are many like him in the Wastelands,some of them
even gave up and took their lives,but he,he just hold to it with it’s last string,I think that if you
take that thing from him he will collapse any moment.’’

‘’Ohhh*CRANCH* I see.’’After a while the door was once again opened,this time there was no more
knifes thrown at them,even so the people that came after that were just more
mercenaries,some of them even young people a bit too young for this job.A total of seven
people entered the room.They were all heavy armed some of them had scars that covered
almost the entirely of their faces.Each of them had their representative style,some had
swords,machine guns,snipers,shotguns,heavy machine guns,pistols,knifes,bows,poison,their
armor was as good as their weapons.Now,that they were all of them present and the Boss
finished his meal,they could finally start talking about the job.
‘’So,as all of you may already know,my appetizer went missing,we have found out that it’s hiding inside
of the mines,while I am sadly furious of the incompetence of my people I wish to request this
one job from all of you.’’The mercenaries looked a bit confused,he called all of us here to go and
find some girls that managed to escape?They already knew that most of the guards if not all of
them were drunk from the welcome party for the Boss’s brother and that they were short on
hands.At that moment the Boss’s brother moved from his conner towards them stating that:

‘’The pay will be 15Golunds for the person that brings back the two of them,the rest will get 2Golunds
and 78Silcuns for the trouble and time wasted,is this a good price for the problem?’’The
mercenaries remained stunned so much money for only capturing and bringing back two girls?
This request sounded too good to be true and easy too,even so they were only two fray girls
with nowhere to run,they even knew where they were.All of them agreed on the reward with
no hesitation,even the man that was standing on the cauch raised on his feet and went to look
for the girls.

‘’Heh,those people will do anything for the right price,even butchering children or killing their own
families.’’

The price was set and the people selected,now,there was only one more step before going after the girls
and that was to prepare a few people to stand guard at the entrance of the mines in case they
try to escape in the commotion.The guards were more like for show,only a few people were
capable to stay guard at the entrance and they were still drunk.

‘’So those are the people of the boss, not really worth to even speak about them.’’The mercenaries were
together when they got at the entrance,some of them even made remarks about the guards
posted at the entrance.

‘’Even so,the pay is good,that is what matters,don’t you all agree?’’They looked at each other,their eyes
full of greed,they knew that the first one to get the girls back will get the big reward.Once they
enter in the mines they will be on their own and they will become enemies.No one said that you
couldn’t just take the girls from one another,there were no rules only a target and that target
were the two girls.As they looked at each other knowing that once they enter they will have to
fight,they didn’t even noticed the guard that tried to talk with them.The guard’s presence was
almost inexistent they didn’t even bothered listening to what he had to say.At that moment
even the boss’s brother came to witness what the people he hired for the job are going to do
and how fast they are going to fulfill their duties.

‘’What are you all waiting for?Are you expecting me to give all of you a good luck hug?’’As always he was
smiling his face as blank as a doll with a smile pasted on it.He was always smiling some could say
that he is happy but that smile has no meaning,no emotion.Maybe it’s a smile to escape the
reality or hide something even worse.

‘’Well..Let the best of us get the reward.’’All of the mercenaries agreed and entered the mines one by
one,giving a little bit of time after one of the person entered.It was an act of honor and
respect,an unwritten rule of mercenaries.One does not gets his reward by running or hiding but
by showing his skill and knowledge so that they may be once again hired.
‘’Heh,look who is going last.You were the first one to arrive and now you are the last to enter, quite
hilarious don’t you guys agree?’’He was making remarks at a person who was wearing a black
coat with a hood covering his hair and face making his eyes almost impossible to spot.The man
looked at the people that talked behind his back but he couldn’t talk back,his mask was making
it impossible to talk.Some people even wondered how was he drinking or eating with that mask
on him?Even so he went inside the mines without a second of hesitation,his presence vanished
it was as if he was never there to begin with.He became one with the darkness enveloping
himself with the surroundings.Leaving the people at the entrance surprised by his majestic
movements.

‘’Looks like he has some skills up his sleeves.Now,let me see who is going to get the reward and who is
going to die or even get eaten.Oh this is going to be so exciting.’’

Inside,there was only darkness the light from the entrance began to dwell little by little until there was
nothing left.The sound of the wind hitting the walls of the cave and the water dripping from the
walls became the masters of this place.The only way to find your way in this place was to have a
map and a source of light.

‘’Sis….How long are we going to stay in this place?The flashlights won’t last forever and you know that I
can’t stand the darkness.’’She was holding one of the flashlights they took from the guards,she
was behind her big sister following her deeper into the mines.

‘’I know,I am not a fan of darkness eighter.But we can’t stop now,if we stop they will catch us.’’She was
holding in her hands a flashlight that was almost empty the light that it gave was almost
inexistent but they had to use the last bit of energy from it,they only had 2 and one was almost
empty.On her back was a gun took from the guards,the gun wasn’t too much of help it was
useless but no one knew it,she could just bluff it out when they encounter someone.As they
kept going deeper and deeper into the minesthe filthy smell of rotten corpses started filling the
air.Maybe there were some remains of the people that worked in the mines before those thugs
took over the [Outpost] or something far worse than that.It couldn’t be,this place was a safe
one.

‘’Sis,this smell…’’She was holding her nose,trying to resist the urge to puke.

‘’If you can’t resist the smell,try breathing through your mouth it will be easier to resist it.’’Even after
she said that her face was almost green and pale.Every move that she did was two times harder
than normal.She was sick,her body was weak since the start,she and her sister were forced to
walk for days without pause and food.It was a blessing that they were able to drink water at
least,even so the accumulated strain on her body was enough to make her sick,but she couldn’t
show any weaknesses toward her sister,she had to push forward and escape this place.They
kept moving forward in spite of having no map,no food the flashlights almost out making do
with the water in the cave’s wall they kept moving on.The cave was a hollow abyss any
movement could be heard,every step could be felt by the sound of the wind and every breath
could be smelled.
‘’Wait…’’A faint light into the darkness could be seen,there were some of the people that went looking
for them.The girl quickly shut down the light holding her sister by the hand,it was too dark for
them to see where they are and they didn’t even had a strong light source.

‘’Ok,seems like it’s good now,let’s keep going.’’They waited until they went past them and then they
kept going through the tunnel that those people came from.The smell of rotten flesh got
stronger and stronger,it was strong enough to make them dizzy and their sight blurry.The light
on the second flashlight was almost out too,they had no more chances to get a third one,if this
one went out they were doomed,they had no way of escaping this place.The feeling of
powerless was filling her mind clouding it with toughs she had to find something,a way of
escaping this place or at least a way of getting another light source.She kept moving forward
until she got to a crossroad.

‘’Hello gorgeous lady!’’She let her guard down,at the same time she got to that crossroad one of the
mercenaries was already there.A simple moment of weakness allowed them to be ambushed by
a man that was only going through that place,a crucial mistake that could cost them their lifes.

‘’Back off!’’She still had the gun that she stole from the guards,an useless gun that was no more than a
toy but he didn’t knew that.

‘’Oh…Take it easy girl,let’s not make this messy,you don’t want to alarm the others that you are here
don’t you?’’He showed no sign of fear,he was a man that discarded the tough of death and life a
long time ago,even so he had a job and a reward he couldn’t just let other take it and he wasn’t
able to kill her either.He started moving slower toward the girl even after she was pointing her
gun at him,she was only a girl,what could she do?Pull the trigger and alarm everyone?No,this
was the perfect scenario for me.

‘’Stay right there!If you come any closer I will shot!’’She wasn’t scared she must not show any sign of
weakness or the bluff won’t work.Being sick was the worst part she had to hide it from him and
her sister too,she had to otherwise there was no chance at escaping.The man slowly started
approaching the girl looking directly at her showing no sign of having the tough of stopping
because of a mere gun being pointed at him.

‘’I said to stop!Don’t you care about your life?’’Trying her hardest to hide her uneasiness and
dizziness,she had nothing on her only a weapon for show and a flashlight almost empty.

‘’Girl…I’ve discarded my life a long time ago since I became a mercenary,do you really think that normal
people could be able to survive in this world?’’He had a gentle face while saying those things
and yet it was as if he was hiding something that could never be spoken.The tone of his words
were almost hypnotic,he was someone that could change the mind of people with only words
and when words weren’t enough he could just change it by force if needed be.

‘’What are you going to earn by shooting me?Freedom?No.If you shoot me all of the people from this
place will know that you are armed and they won’t even try taking you without force.You may
even end up dead,or,your sister may die right in front of you,don’t you think?’’He knew her
weakness and he knew how to attack her with only words,he was already in the control of her or
so he tough.The girl,with no hesitation putted the gun to her head looking in the man’s eyes
with no hesitation making him stop from advancing.
‘’You are not the only one that discarded it’s life.Now,raise your hands slowly and tie yourself with that
rope on your wrist.’’Smiling she showed no sign of weakness she had the determination to kill
herself,or so the man tough even if the gun was useless,he didn’t knew.His own words became
his own doom he was the one hypnotized and not the girl.

‘’Whoa…Easy girl.You don’t really have to do this you know?’’He tried to keep his calm but he was
slightly nervous,his left eye started twitching in flustration at what the girl in front of him was
doing.The request was for both girls to be brought back alive in perfect condition if possible,he
was in a rut from where he couldn’t escape easy.The only way of ensuring the reward was to
oblige for the time being.So he slowly took the rope from his wrist and started tying his feet and
hands from one of the rocks near.

‘’Is this good enough?’’The man,now tied by a rock was looking with malicious intend toward the
girls,knowing that he had to play the victim for a while.

‘’Yes.Now,let’s see what you’ve got.’’Slowly the girl approached the man,checking the rope to see if it’s
tight enough and to check if he could escape.After checking the rope,she took the bag of the
man with her and his light source,leaving him behind tied by the rock,not even looking a for a
second behind.They kept going,now that they had a new light source and a good one at that.The
man that they robbed had a Solarian,a stone that could provide light feeding it’s self with
darkness making it have unlimited uses.Inside the bag there were some provisions,a map and a
knife,kind of little for a mercenary but they are strange people it wouldn’t be strange that he
had so little so that he could loot the people he kills.Walking for hours and hours the fatigue
started to build up,even more for the older girl that was sick.They had to find a place where they
could rest,but where?There were no safe passages that weren’t marked on the map so where
could they go to.Her mind was full of toughs,what could she do?Where could they hide?As they
kept going forward the map started to not even make any sense,there was a tunnel that wasn’t
on the map a tunnel that reched of foul smell and rotten flesh.Even so it was their only option
and who would search in that place to begin with?It was a place that wasn’t on the map and it
reched of death.It was perfect for a while to rest.The smell was almost making them puke but
they had to endure it if they wanted to survive.Going down the tunnel,enduring the smell and
felling the air and atmosphere change.Now safe for the time being they could finally rest.

‘’Are you okay sis?You don’t look so good.’’She was scared she didn’t knew what she can do for her
sister to ease her pain.

‘’Don’t worry I am good.I only need some time to rest.’’She was pale and her voice was so silent that you
could say that she was whispering.The sickness was worse than she tough it could be,she felt
her body so weak that even staying on her feet will take everything from her.But still she
couldn’t tell her sister,she knew that if she knew and that if she passed out her sister will do
anything to help her,even going to ask for help from those pieces of shit.

‘’Sis,is there a place for us in this word?Will we ever be able to find a safe place?’’

‘’I don’t know if there is a safe place somewhere out there,but,I do know for a fact that if there is no
place out there for us we will just have to make it.’’Her words were like a charm for her,she felt
safe and calm beside her sister.Two girls,left in this wretched world,banished from their world
 and forced to run to survive.They can only find comfort and happiness only when they are
together.They had to rest,they can’t stay in the same place for long and so that is what they
did.Once the younger one felt asleep the oldest hided the Solarian stone,embrancing her sister
and the darkness resting and hopping for the best.[At the same time the action kept going in
another place.]

‘’Would you look at that.’’Two of the mercenaries that were hired to look for the girl arrived at the
crossroad.One of them looked like he was in his 40 or even more,he was wearing a heavy suit
capable of stopping almost any kind of bullets that were in this place,he was so heavy armed
that every step that he took left behind a foot print.On the other hand,the guy that was with
him was in his late 20’s and he was the complete opposite of him,he was wearing a light armor
making him mobile and agile and he wasn’t so heavy armed he had knifes,swords,grenades and
a bow at his disposal making him ideal for a stealth approach.The man was still chained by the
rock,unable to escape,left behind into the darkness.

‘’What happen man?Did you found the girls and they’ve beaten you?And even stole your shit?’’They
were bursting in laugh and tears they couldn’t even imaginate how one of them was defeated
by some mere girls.

‘’Are you sure that you didn’t fell for their beauty?For how long have you been in this business?’’They
kept saying ironical questions making fun of him.Even so he started laughting together with
them even asking them why are they together.

‘’Yea…You know they are really beautiful.Even so why are you two together wasn’t the big reward
supposed to be for only one person?’’

‘’Haaah,well it is but no one said that we can’t share it.After we entered this place we made a deal to
split the reward by how much we contributed at capturing them.’’

‘’It seems like a good deal.’’They were both together and they have already settled a deal,they had an
upper hand against the other mercenaries or did they?No one knew if the others made a deal too or
they stayed solo.One thing was for sure,if he wanted to be released from the rock he had to make a
good plan.

‘’Interesting a nice plan indeed,would you mind if I join you two in this deal of yours I may help you and I
will only take the participation reward,what you say?’’It was his only hope,to make them release him
and then go after the girls on his own,or,pretend to help them then backstab them.It was a win win
situation for him,but,only if they accepted.

‘’You?Helping us?’’They started laughting even louder,their voices could’ve been heard through the
tunnels.

‘’You were robbed and chained!?!And now you want to help us?Do you think that we are stupid or
something?’’They showed no interest in making a deal with him,they both stayed in front of him smiling
and laughting at his misfortune.He showed no hatred toward their remarks he just smiled at
them,waiting for them to finish.

‘’Even if we release you we have no guarantee that you won’t backstab us or even help us.’’
‘’On the other hand you have no equipment.You are nothing more than a baggage right now and you
know what they do,they slow and drag you down.’’They had a point,what could he do to help them he
was nothing more than a death weight.

‘’You are right,I am nothing more than a burden to you two,I am not even trust worthy and I could even
backstab you two when I get the chance.’’With a smiling face he looked in their eyes as he said that,his
voice and tone made it sounds like he was trying to charm them and at the same time lying and hiding
behind some mere emotion in disguise.

‘’I can’t be of any use to you two,but,do you even know where the girls went to?’’Those last remarks
changed the face of those two in a matter of seconds,they weren’t smiling anymore,they were
serious.The Heavy gunner took the man by his throat in an instant rising it looking furiously at him
stating that he tell them what he knows.

‘’Be careful with what you say boy.We don’t take those kinds of jokes too well and I think that you
already know that don’t you?’’The Light swordsman was preparing behind him some knifes for
interrogation.His face showed no emotion while on the other hand the Heavy gunner was like a cannon
close to fire.

‘’You know why I am preparing those knifes and what we are going to do to you,so I hope that you will
cooperate with us into making this as painful as possible.’’The man still chained and lifted into the air
kept smiling at them,he showed no sign of fear.

‘’You can torture me but you know that once you do that I will be made to tell you anything you want to
know and not what you must know.’’He was right,once a man is torture he starts telling the torturer
what he wants to know only to escape the pain and not what he must know.The torture of someone
was like a double edge sword,you could get what you want and on the other hand you get too much,the
information will be false and with no purpose.They knew that,they just tough that he was a fresh skin
that knew nothing by the way he was robbed,even so he had some knowledge,they could work with
that.

‘’It’s your lucky day kid.It seems like you have your way with words,so,are you still willing to join our
deal?’’The man easening his expression slowly putted him down while the other one was lock picking
the lock of the chains,releasing him.Once free,he turned toward them,holding his hands up trying to
shake their hands as a sign of acknowledgement of the deal.

‘’Well,it seems like now you are with us boy.Do not disappoint us.’’Now that they made a deal and he
was free and working with them he had to tell them everything that he knew.

‘’You’ve said something about the girls,now that the three of us are working together tell us what you
know.’’

‘’Why the hurry it’s not like they are going to escape this place anytime soon,let’s take it easy don’t
we?’’

‘’Do you want to go back at square one with my hand on your neck and him sharpening the knifes?’’

‘’It was a jok,a joke.I will tell you two everything that I know so don’t worry.’’
He started talking,telling them everything that he knew and what they had to know.It wasn’t as if it was
something important,he didn’t very much,like where they are,but he did knew in what direction they
went to.And so he told them how he bumped into them in this crossroad,how he tried to capture them
and that they were armed and how they managed to chain him by the rock.

good,if she truly had a functional gun and she would’ve took her own like we would’ve all been in
trouble.’’

‘’Now that you told us what happen,show me the way that they went through so that way I can track

‘’Won’t it be hard to track something inside the tunnels where there is limited light?Even the ground is
made of stone so they won’t leave any marks.’’He was confused,how could a hunter track a prey
without a track left behind?

‘’Kid,you seem like a beginner and a slow poke so let me tell you something.That guy right there is the
best of the best at tracking his prey,he only needs to know the way that the prey went and he is able to
find it in a matter of minutes even seconds if it’s outside.’’

‘’Understood,sorry about that,I didn’t knew that it could be possible tracking something inside the
tunnels.’’He looked and if he wants to have a few chances of taking the reward only for himself it had to
stay that way.So,he played the role of a beginner,he was filling his role perfect,almost too perfect,it was
like he could play any kind of role if given the chance,making him one of the most fearful kind of people.

‘’Don’t worry,not many know that it’s possible and I am not surprised,you truly are a beginner
mercenary.Tell me what made you become one if you don’t mind.’’

‘’I don’t mind but it will be a long and boring story and I don’t think that you would like to hear
it.’’Visibly flustrated,he looked like he was scared and shy.

‘’No,don’t worry,until our friend over there is able to find a track we have all the time in the world,
anyway I don’t have something better to do at the moment,so, tell me your story.’’

‘’Well,it’s not really that interesting,it’s like any other story.’’

‘’Well,as you can see I am kind of old for this job,and you can’t really get old easy in this kind of
business.Well I wasn’t a mercenary from the beginning,I was a farmer in the N-E part of Capotope,one
of the capitals at that time….and now,a ruin of the past.There I was haply living with my wife and my
new born daughter,she was my most beautiful treasure.Her and my wife,I was happy,but,as all things
have an ending,I was left alone.After the great Metastasis as some old people would call it,my home was
the first one to be struck.My wife was taken by the raiders and my daughter taken by the angels to use it
as a catalyst for their embodyments of one’s self.In all of those years I kept on going with only one
purpose and that was to reunite my family.I was a fool,there was no hope since the beginning,my wife
was beaten,raped,tortured and butchered ,toyed by those barbaric creatures,all that I was able to do
was to give her a proper burial and massacre all of them.Even so,this,was no the most hearth broken
part of my journey,and,that was when I found my daughter,a girl in her 20’s,she tried to kill me.Her
father!She was cold as the winter she didn’t listened to anything that I told her,I even lost my left hand
and my right eye trying to talk to her.I was left in a pool of blood by her,and,I accepted it,until this guy
found me.He took care of me for 2 years till I was able to walk once again,he was a total stranger,he had
no reason to help and even less,save my life,so after all of that here I am,my life is in his debt and I will
help him with everything that I can.Anyway I did say that I will say his story too but I don’t even know it
myself,when I asked him he just told me that he does not remember anything about his past or his
purpose for becoming a mercenary so I didn’t actually pressed him to told me.Now that you know our
story,tell us,what is your story?’’

‘’Well…It everything started a few years ago when my father was killed by some thugs and robbed
him,leaving his dead corpse in the alleys of the city Leyoran.So,I just took the gun for the purpose of
revenge and getting my revenge on him,hopping that one day I will be able to find the man that killed
and robbed my father.I did say that my story it’s not that big of a deal.’’

‘’No!On the contrary it’s kind of a big deal,taking up a gun and searching for your father’s killer it’s kind
of honorable and at the same time sad,if you know what I mean…’’

‘’Sad?How so?’’

‘’This is a thorny path,you will have in mind only one thing,revenge.You will be blinded by the fury
making you loose more than what you are gaining by killing your target.This path it’s not for all,only few
people can truly walk this path and come back in one piece,both phisicaly and mentaly.’’The man was
not someone to say something wrong,he talked from experience,his expression saddened,reminding of
his past life his happiness and sorrow.

‘’I see now what do you mean by that.’’

‘’I was like that once.Now,I regret everything….’’

As they kept on moving forward,the atmosphere was changing slowly,at the start they were able to hear
the sound of water dropping on the walls and ceiling but even that was gone,their breaths were the only
thing that could be heard for a while.A chilling sensation was catching them as if they entered
someone’s home.The mines should’ve been safe,there is no beast,if there was this place wouldn’t have
been an Outpost.

‘’Stop.’’The man who was leading them,looking for foot prints left by the girls or something that could
show that they went this way.

‘’Did you find something?’’The old man asked readying his weapons without hesitation,not taking any
chances,he knew the man for a while and he knew for a fact that he doesn’t stop for nothing.

‘’No…..There are no foot prints….but,they went this way.’’Without marks of doubt in his voice and
movement,he pointed forward and,at the same time making sign with his other hand to hold on and
don’t take any steps forward.

‘’What do you mean by there are no foot prints,but they went this way.Is this a joke?This doesn’t make
any sense,how do you even know that we even went the right path till this moment?’’The young one,as
impatience as his inexperience,he didn’t knew what he meant by that,he didn’t knew that there is more
than just marks and tracks to follow.

‘’Shut up,he never jokes around when it comes to work,he doesn’t even joke when he is free,he always
has a reason.’’He pointed his gun at the man’s back.They both nodded to each other as in
agreement.They both knew what was going on,their raised their guard expecting anything to happen.

‘’Tell me what is going on?Why both of you are so alerted?’’He still didn’t understood what was going on
and what was happening,the Heavy gunner putted his right hand swiftly at his mouth in case that he was
going to keep talking,dragging him behind a rock,together with the Light swordman.They turned off the
light,darkness enveloping them,their breath and hearth beat echoing through the cave.A massive
chunck of darkness,an embodiment of misery and sorrow,a creature of the darkness passed by them,it
was something that no human could comprehend,a creature that was striking fear with his appearance
and smell.

They stood still,as if they were hiding from something,after a while,the Light swordman made a gesture
with his hand,indicating that everything is alright,even so,they had no clue that they are good to go and
keep searching for the girls.Once the man took his hand from the boy’s mouth,they boy started talking.

‘’What was that?’’He was slapped so hard by the Heavy gunner that his head almost turned behind his
back.

The Heavy gunner,wispered’’Shut it,kid…’’His eyes showed no fear,he knew what that monster was and
he knew that it was no joke.

‘’That creature it’s a Radon,creatures that lives underground eating dirt and minerals,but,they wouldn’t
mind some fresh meat,they are omnivour.’’

‘’Now you know the answer to your first question and second.’’

‘’Wait my first question?’’

‘’Yes….The one when you didn’t belived me that we are going the right way.Aniway that was a
Broodmother,they are the only one that grow that large,the others,they are like our size,some even a bit
larger.’’

‘’I don’t like it….They told us that there are no creatures in the mines.’’

‘’Maybe this is why they stopped using the mines.’’

‘’Keep tracking the girls and let’s get that reward and leave this place as quick as possible,I don’t want to
become Radon’s meal.’’They both agreed to keep going forward and search for the girls.’’Kid,let’s go.’’

‘’But,isn’t there a possibility that those creatures already ate the girls?’’The kid was questioning them,he
only wanted to survive and get the reward,so he kept on the play,he couldn’t reveal his true self yet,he
had to play like a beginner for a bit longer.

*Sight*Resting his gun on his shoulder‘’Yes,but do you really think that they will let us return empty
handed?I know that man,the leader of this outpost,when he doesn’t like something he just kill it or
destroy it for fun and his brother,a lunatic,he will kill everyone in this outpost if it didn’t had his brother
ruling it.’’
They kept on going forward looking for the girls knowing that they have to take care and be prepared
not only for the other mercenaries but the creature too.

Mc’s Monolog

‘‘’This must be the place.’’’He was walking slowly not knowing if something will happen or if something
is already happening,he just stayed calm and calculate,asking every possible question in his head,trying
to answer all of them one by one.Each step felt like seconds that became minutes,one move was like a
hundred,he kept going and at the same time it felt like he was stagnant in time,moving in place.What for
him felt like minutes for others it felt like seconds,to the naked eye he was walking normaly but to
him,the world moved in slow motion.

‘’’I am a no one,so why?No,I keep my profile low but not low enough.Why was I called?There are not
enough info about this sudden summoning.Should I kill them?Yes!Kill them,don’t let anyone alive make
them suffer as I suffered all those years.No!Killing them will only bring more suffering,I am already
stayned by the blood of the past and sorrow.Go back?No,I came,so there is no point in going back
now.Prepare for a sudden attack?No,I didn’t killed someone from this place yet,there is no one so far in
the West looking for revenge,and yet,I smell blood the closer I get to the door I must prepare for an
attack.’’’The man kept on walking,closer and closer until he found himself in front of the door that the
Boss of the Outpost was residing.

‘’You!Stand your business!’’One of the guards,heavy armed pointed the gun toward the man,ready to
pull the trigger and kill him on spot for daring to get so close to the Boss’s home,but,he was stopped by
another guard.

‘’Put your gun down,he is a guest,don’t you remember Boss’s orders?’’The man stopped him from
shooting,lowering his gun glancing at the man that stood in front of them,not even shaken or moved by
the gun that was pointed in his face a while ago.

‘’You can proceed.’’The man kept on going forward,this time,knowing what he may need to expect,or
not?As he went past the guards he could hear them whispering.’’You know what happens to the people
that disobey the Boss,don’t you?I will not be dragged down with you because of your mistakes.’’

‘’’A warm welcome,kill all of them!No!That was a mistake of someone,I shouldn’t kill anyone because
someone else’s mistake.Now I know that we are seen as quests by the Boss of this place.I shouldn’t be
so alarmed,No!Never drop your guard.Yes!No one knows what may be happening,never look
down,never look back.Forward I must go forward and see what is going on,prepare for an attack,prepare
for a massacre.’’’The man stood in front of the door,prepared for an ambush,slowly gripping the handle
of the door,preparing his left hand to protect himself.As the door was slowly opening,making a rusty
sound as if he was opening the gate of a cage.Once the door was fully opened,the man was not
welcomed by words or even someone,but a knife was thrown for his left eye,quickly catching it with his
left hand throwing it back to the attacked,impaling the wall behind him.There he stood,not shaken by
the sudden attack or the smell or even the hideous smile of his attacked.He slowly entered the room
closing the door behind him,looking at the two persons that stood in front of him,one was chewing on
the food splating the fat from the food in the air.He was eating like an animal,or even worse,it could’ve
been an insult to the animals to compare him with them.Slowly getting closer to them,sitting right
beside them,in a place where the fat wouldn’t splat on him,looking at his attacker,thinking of what he
needs to do.

‘’’Kill them!They are the first that tried to attack me,I must kill them!No!If I kill them then all of the
people in this Outpost will try to attack me,I don’t want a massacre!Yes,…,MASSACRE!Calm down,I must
calm down.’’’He slowly putted his left arm on the pendant that he was wearing,holdin it tight as there
was no tomorrow.’’’Brother,what should I do?’’’

V-I-Ch3

Inside the mine,the concept of time was just a simple breath,no one could’ve knew if an hour went by,or
even a day.A feeling that keeps you warm and cold at the same time,making you belive that you are
stagnated in time,some may loose their minds in the mines and some may find true peace.Each breath
you take from this tainted and stagnated air brings you closer to the door of life and death, caging your
very own soul.Yet,the people didn’t cared,they putted their life in danger so that way they can get by
with life,working for their families,surviving where there was no hope,moving forward,breaking any
obstacle in their way,that’s how the people lived,before the bandits took their
home,families,sons,daughters and life.A silent scream was echoing through the [Outpost],a scream for
help,for salvation from this torment and yet,the only one that answered the call was death.

A scream for help,could never be heard by the people that deserve help,a little trick of the world,the
strong will always belive that they can do and take anything they want.In a world where there is no
salvation,only false hopes and dreams of a child’s hearth and soul,innocent beliefs,heretics pleating.This
is what the people of the weakest race have to go through day and night with little to no rest.

‘’Hey,wake up.’’Shacking he sister,trying to get her awake as soon as possible.

‘’Can’t we just rest for a little longer?’’Still half-asleep,looked at her with cloudy eyes,sparkling in the
darkness of the mine.

‘’Sorry,but we must move on.We have already stood for far too long in this place.’’She understood the
sleepiness of her sister,they have been on the run since they were thrown out of their home.The had no
time to rest,even now,they took a risk by sleeping for a while.Even so,a risk that was worth,she knew
that it was already a long time,with little to no rest,it wouldn’t be long until she or her sister collapse.It’s
better to take any kind of chance even if the only one is the riskiest.

‘’Were will we go now?Are we still going to run?’’Visibly still asleep and sick,she looked as frail as a
feather,even the slightest wind blow could’ve putted her down.

‘’Come here,let me check something.’’Quickly she putted her lips on her forehead,feeling her
termperature.She was heavly sick,her temperature was high and they had no water or time to rest for
her to get better.Her legs were shacking and her eyes were unfocused,she was on the bring of
collapsing,even a little rest won’t cure sickness.Seeing as how grave the situation was,she lowered her
back telling her to get on.

‘’As you are right now it’s better for me to carry you.’’Her request was accompanied by a refusal,the girl
was shaking her head,unwillingly to be a burden to her sister.
‘’No.I won’t let you carry me,I can’t let you shoulder everything for both,of,us.’’As she was finishing her
sentence,the girl started to lose her balance,slowly falling on the back of her sister.A slight laugh could
be heard as she was falled down.

Smilling with no remorse,pain or tiredness,spoken what was on her mind.

‘’Who said that I am shouldering everything myself?I am only shouldering my own share of
problems.’’Mere words that mean nothing to some,but,to the sick girl,it meant the world to her.They
weren’t related by blood and yet they both grew together.Both of them were abandoned by their
parents,left to die on the streets.They got each other’s back many times,there were good days and bad
ones.

‘’Thank you,for always being there for me.’’Tears started to flow down her face as she was slowly falling
asleep,dreaming of the good old days.The days where they didn’t had to run or hide for their lives,a time
of what some would call peace in this time of days.But as everything happens to pass,nothing is
ethernal,their home got raided by the bandits and sold as slaves to them,forced to live a life o torture
and sorrow,not even having been able to choose when they die,they were tools and yet they only
tortured them,beaten them and even burnt the little girl’s left eye leaving her half blind,maybe they
planed since the start to use them both as gifts for the Fatty boss of the [Outpost].They kept on living
and fighting for their survival,as long as they had each other to lean on,going throw the worst
together,never being apart one from another.

Moving slowly but surely throw the narrow passage of the cave,carring her sleepy sister on her
back,never looking back only forward,thinking of a plan,of what they can do to escape their situation,to
find a way to make it as they were dead.Yes,dead,they have mercenaries on their tracks,maybe they
could fool one of them and use their grenades to make a passage collapse,killing the mercenary they
tricked and leaving signs as if they were dead under the rocks.She only had to find one,one clueless
mercenary to trick and kill him.Her lips started to form from a happy smile,to a grim looking
smirk,silently laughting as if she was whispering to herself,echoing sinister sounds throw the cave as if
she was inviting them to her,hoping that she will be found and she can put he plan in motion,but
first,she had to find a good place,an open place not too big but not too small either.She kept on going
smirking and calculating every possible outcome that could’ve came up to,thinking of how she could
proceed and act,of how she could trick him or even her to fall into the trap.

‘’Hmmm,seems like she gave up on hiding or living if she is making that much of a ruckus.’’A
mercenary,one of the few that went into the mines after the girls heard her laughting.

‘’Those money are all going to be mine.’’He swiftly went toward the place he heard the sound was
coming from,leaving no trace behind him,being one with the darkness moving as one motion of second
each step at a time in a way that some would think that he was an swift animal.He was wearing a heavy
armor,not even reconazible by the way he was moving,not even leaving a footprint behind or even
making a sound.His breath was steady and silent and his body was like the wind,he was fast and quick.

The girls got in an open room,the perfect place for the plan to be put in motion.

‘’Sis?’’The girl was still half asleep,shaking of cold and sickness,her eyes being unfocused and her voice
as weak as frail baby,she had almost no strength in her body.
‘’Don’t worry sister,we are fine,I will let you rest here so don’t worry and keep sleeping.’’She putted her
little sister behind a boulder,hiding her in shadow and putting one of her clothes on her to keep her
warm,kissing her left cheek before she got back in the middle of the room preparing.
