GUIDELINES

To keep our amazing and vibrant community clean, please follow these guidelines:

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Garbage & Recycling Room located right outside elevator lobby on Level P5 (fob required).
• Page 2 and 3 show a list of accepted items (also posted in Garbage Room).
• Compactor waste:
o Garbage in black bag.
o Organics in compostable bag.
• Recycling Bin waste:
o Cardboard, paper, clean plastic containers, cartons and aluminum.
• Furniture is NOT allowed inside the compactor or to be left in the garbage room.
• Visit metrovancouverrecycles.org to find a location to recycle or donate other items:
o Electronics, furniture, batteries, metals, etc.
• Visit aforceofnature.ca to learn more about our exciting waste manager, Revolution.
• Drop off other waste at the City of Burnaby's Eco-Centre: 4855 Still Creek Drive, Burnaby.

COMPACTOR USE
STEP 1: Open compactor door with red-handled pull pin.

STEP 2: Insert garbage in tied black bag and organics in tied compostable bag.

STEP 3: Close compactor door.

STEP 4: Only press the blue START button if hopper compartment seems full.

RECYCLING BIN USE

STEP 1: Place approved items in one of the identical large green recycling bins.
