strategy, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with support
from Ministry of Commerce & Industry is organizing the first ever INDIA-LAC BUYER SELLER
MEET in Sao Paulo & Belo Horizonte, Brazil from 21-23 November 2018.

The economic relationship between India and Latin America and the Caribbean, a $7 trillion
economy, is at an emerging stage, with significant room for growth in terms of international
trade, foreign direct investment (FDI) and sectoral cooperation between these two regions.
In view of this, India has increased its focus on the region reflecting in our trade increasing
to USD 24.5 bn in 2017-18. Latin America & Caribbean offers excellent export opportunities
in agri/ processed food products, chemicals & fertilizers, agri machinery / equipment,
pharmaceuticals & bulk drugs, EPC companies, medical equipment & devices, textiles & raw
material, mining & equipment, handicrafts & handlooms, engineering and automotive
products and other manufacturing goods like sports equipment, packaging, electrical &
electronics, etc.

Considering this, the India-LAC Buyer Seller Meet is aimed to provide an opportunity for
structured B2B meetings with key businesses not only from Brazil but from entire LAC
region.
