AKIMLADE

RADIOLOGIST’S REPORT
ABDOMINOPELVIC CT SCAN CONTRAST ENHANCED

TECHNIQUE:
Serial axial section of whole abdomen studied with oral and I.V. contrast from domes of
diaphragm to pubic symphysis.

FINDINGS: The visualised parts of lungs are normal. Anterior and posterior abdominal
walls are normal. Peritoneal fat planes are normal.
LIVER: Liver is normal in size. It shows normal attenuation. No Space occupying lesion
seen No Intrahepatic biliary duct dilatation noted.
Portal radicles are normal. Intra hepatic IVC is normal. CBD is normal.
GALL BLADDER: GB is normal is size and attenuation. Pericholecystic area is normal.
PANCREAS: Pancreas is normal in size and density. Peripancreatic areas are normal.
Portal and spleenic veins are normal.
AORTA, IVC and Iliac vessels are normal. Coeliac and Mesenteric areas are normal.
Pericaval and aortic areas are normal.
ADRENAL GLANDS: are normal.
KIDNEYS: Both kidneys are normal in size, attenuation. Right inferior pole calcyceal
calculus HU 248 measuring 5mm. Pelvicalcyceal system and
ureters on both sides are normal. Perinephric areas are normal.
SPLEEN: Spleen is normal in size and density. Splenic Vessels are normal.
Other vascular structures are normal.
PROSTATE: The prostate is enlarged and measures 3.97cm x 4.87 x 4.15cm with a
volume of 41gramm. There is protrusion of the median into the base of bladder.
BLADDER: There is a lobulated intraluminal mucosal based slightly hyperdense mass
HU 49 measuring 5.8cm x 3.5cm giving bladder filling defect in delayed phase more in
the left side. There is thickening of the trigone of the baldder with lobulated masses.

BOWEL: No significant bowel lesions seen. Normal bowel luminal diameter. No free
air under domes of diaphragm. No abnormal air fluid levels noted. Bilateral
inguinal hernia noted 2.42cm right and 3.2cm left side.

OTHER FINDINGS: No significant lymphadenopathy.


Visualised bones are normal.

BLADDER INTRALUMINAL MASS WITH LOBULATED MUCOSA
DIFFERENTIALS INCLUDE
TRANSITIONAL CELL CA
ADENOCARCINOMA
SQUAMOUS CELL CA
PROSTATE CA WITH CONTIGOUS BLADDER EXTENSION

ENLARGED PROSTATE ? NATURE PSA AND BIOPSY ADVISED

RIGHT INFERIOR CALYCEAL SAMLL CALCULUS (NEPHROLITHIASIS)

BILATERAL INGUINAL HERNIA
