PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Nowadays, huge products have been produced and distributed on the market, mostly with preservative ingredients.
According to Rafael Ilagan 2020, customers' most popular taste preferences are sour, salty, and sweet. Referring to
the customer's preferences pushes us to propose this product since we want to produce a new product that suits
Filipino tastes. Our products differ from other vinegar brands since it was made from the juice of fresh pineapples
that can be fermented naturally over several weeks or months. During fermentation, natural yeasts and bacteria in
the pineapple juice convert the natural sugars into acetic acid, giving the vinegar its distinct tangy flavor and
aroma.

Furthermore, since today is pineapple season, we grab this opportunity to help the farmers generate income and
avoid wasting products. This vinegar is unfiltered and unpasteurized and contains the "mother" culture, which
consists of enzymes, beneficial bacteria, and protein strands. This mother culture gives the vinegar its health
benefits, such as improving digestion, serving as a weight loss enhancer, boosting immunity, and supporting overall
wellness. Raw pineapple vinegar can be a delicious and healthy substitute for other vinegar in salad dressings,
marinades, and sauces. It can also be a natural remedy for various health conditions, including digestive issues,
skin problems, and sore throats. Raw pineapple vinegar is a versatile and healthy ingredient that can add a
delicious, tangy flavor to any dish while providing numerous health benefits. Apart from health usage purposes, it
also serves as a condiment in our kitchen, restaurant, and the like, as well as a cleaning agent.

In addition, raw pineapple vinegar can be found and distributed at the sari-sari store and public markets around
Bayombong and Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. The volume of the container is 330ml and it can last up to 3 to 6 months
due to its natural fermentation.

FACTORS AFFECTING THE MARKET

Determinants of Demand

As consumers become more health-conscious and seek natural and organic products, there is a growing demand for
alternative health remedies and products offering health benefits. Consumer tastes and preferences are constantly
changing, and changes in these preferences can have an impact on the pineapple vinegar market. For instance, if
there is a trend towards sweeter or more acidic flavors, this can impact the demand for pineapple vinegar.

Since we are new on the market, we just estimated the possible consumption of pineapple to know how the next
production will be produced and consumed and make an adjustment if necessary. For the initial production, we will
create 25 PCs of pineapple vinegar, which we will distribute proportionally by five at the Solano and Bayombong
public markets and sari-sari stores. The estimated income of the first production will be 800 pesos, where the cost
of each pineapple fruit is 25 multiplied by 13 pieces of pineapple for a total of 325, labeling paper is 50, packaging
bottles is 3 pesos each multiplied by 25 for a total of 75, and the overall cost of expenses is 450 pesos. The cost
and availability of pineapples and other raw materials used in the production of pineapple vinegar can affect the
pricing and supply of the product. Today is the season of pineapple, which means prices are low due to oversupply.
This would be an opportunity to produce more pineapple vinegar, and vice versa, depending on raw material
availability, such as bottles that are only sometimes available to the supplier and the pineapple fruit. Concerning
the substitution of pineapple vinegar due to unforeseen circumstances of production, the substitute goods for
pineapple vinegar would be lemon juice, lime juice, and cider vinegar, depending on the consumer's preference as
well as its complimentary usage.
Conclusively, pineapple vinegar competes with other types of vinegar, such as apple cider, balsamic vinegar, and
rice vinegar. The availability and popularity of these vinegar brands can affect the pineapple vinegar market. Due
to these factors, the prices of our product in the future may vary due to changes in demand.

Determinants of Supply

As the price of the pineapple increases, we, the producers of pineapple vinegar, will be discouraged from buying it
since it has an enormous loss on our part. If we produce more pineapple vinegar, we will not gain profit due to the
high cost of raw materials.

Producing this vinegar will not use technology since it is more based on fermentation, except for the labeling.
However, with the help of a funnel, it is easier for us to transfer the vinegar to its bottle package. The number of
distributed resellers simplifies the number of consumers. The more the distributor will avail the vinegar, the greater
the opportunity for our product to be promoted and consumed via word of mouth.

Effective marketing and branding strategies can help create awareness and increase the demand for pineapple
vinegar. Packaging, labeling, and advertising campaigns can influence consumer perceptions and purchasing
decisions. Import and export regulations can also impact the market for pineapple vinegar, especially for countries
that rely heavily on international trade. Tariffs, duties, and other trade policies can affect the pricing and
availability of the product. The supply of raw pineapple vinegar depends on the availability of fresh pineapples.
Any changes in pineapple production could impact the supply. The cost of producing raw pineapple vinegar will
impact the supply. This includes raw materials, labor, equipment, and energy costs. Conclusively, our future price
will increase due to its high price but can decrease if raw materials also decrease its cost.

Marketing Program

The target market for raw pineapple vinegar may include health-conscious individuals who are interested in natural
and organic products, as well as those who enjoy experimenting with new flavors and ingredients in their cooking.

individuals who are looking for natural remedies for digestive issues or other health concerns, as raw pineapple
vinegar is rich in enzymes and probiotics. In addition supplying distributors and word of mouth is not enough
strategy, whereas we will promote and advertise our product via Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Tiktok.
