of being characterized by vigorous activity and progress
2. The 21" century is in a state of fluidity, it is not static
3. Current landscape of competition is threatening and daunting
4. Business needs to create its own impact in any part of the world.

HYPERCOMPETITION

Hyper competition is a fundamental feature of the new economy. As the word


implies, it carries a note of over excitement and agitation. Hyper competition occurs
when product/service offerings and technologies are so new that standards become
unstable and competitive advantage is not sustainable.

Strategic analysis consists of a systematic evaluation of variables currently existing in the external and
internal environments.

Strategic planning is defined as a continuous, repetitive, and competitive process of
setting the goals and objectives that an organization aims to attain, defining the means
to achieve them, and assessing the best way to realize them in the context of the
prevailing environment while measuring performance through set standards, and
periodically but continuously conducting reassessments.

organization's actions and way of thinking. Beliefs are cognitive manifestations while
attitudes are characteristically behavioral. They are fundamental and intricately
integrated in the particular organization's value system. Take note that the values
projected by organizations are largely dependent on any or all of the following: the
stockholders, the Board of Directors, and the top management. The value system is
characteristically broader in scope; aside from values, it includes other variables such
as the organization's dreams, aspirations, interests, expectations, philosophies, as well
as leadership and management styles and ethical practices

Organizational climate is often defined as the regular and repetitive patterns of
attitudes and behavior exhibited by employees of an organization. Organizational
climate is easier to assess and change. It lends to flexibility. It precedes and somehow
contributes to the solidification of the culture of an organization. * Organizational
culture denotes a wide range of social phenomena. Culture, in the sense that it is used

WHAT IS LITERATURE?
Literature is derived from the Latin term litera" and "litteratura" which means
letter. It has been defined differently by various writers (Rahayon and Zulueta.
2000)

Philippine literature is a diverse and rich group of words that has evolved side by side
with the country's history. Literature has started with fables and legends made by
ancient Filipinos long before the arrival of the Spanish influence. The main themes of
Philippine literature focus on the country's pre colonial cultural traditions and the
socio-political histories of Its colonial and contemporary traditions.

Literature is a broad term used to refer to written works, such as books. magazines.
short stories. plays, and poems. Literature can provide insight into the human
experience and can be used as a way to explore ideas, express emotions, and tell
stories.

It has been a powerful tool for expressing and exploring our humanity. When
discussing literature. One can talk about the author's style, the themes explored in the
work, the characters and their motivations, and the historical context in which the
work was written.

PROSE

POETRY

emotions and ideas in an accessible and creative way. Poetry can take many different
forms. from traditional rhyme schemes to free verse.
FICTION

NOVEL
A novel is a work of long prose fiction, which is usually centered around characters'
events and settings. Novels usually have multiple chapters, with a larger plot and
focus on character development.

SHORT STORY
A short story is a work of fiction that is usually shorter in length than a novel. Short
stories often have less developed characters and settings than longer works, but can
still explore complex themes.

NOVELLA
A novella is a work of narrative fiction, longer than a short story but shorter than a
novel. Generally, novellas are between 20,000 and 40.000 words in length.

FABLE

information about the person's childhood, education, family. work, and death.

DIARY
A diary is a personal record of experiences, thoughts, and/or DIARY reflections kept
regularly and often privately. It can be a physical book or an electronic document.
ANECDOTE
An anecdote is a brief, often amusing story about a real incident or person. Anecdotes
are usually related as a way to support an argument or point in a speech or essay.

ESSAY
An essay is a short piece of writing that focuses on a particular topic or argument.
Essays are used to express ideas, explain a point, or discuss a topic in a structured and
organized way.

NARRATIVE

DRAMATIC
Dramatic poetry is a type of poetry that is meant to be performed in a play or
theatrical setting. It often includes elements of dialogue. monologue, and
characterization.

NARRATIVE

EPIC
An epic is a long narrative poem that celebrates the deeds of a legendary hero. It
features a hero who represents the values of a particular society. and who goes on an
epic journey or quest.

BALLAD
A ballad is a type of song that tells a story and often has a repeated chorus or refrain.
Ballads typically have a slow, rhythmic structure and use simple and emotional
language.

METRIC TALE
A metric tale is a story told in verse, usually composed of stanzas or lines of poetry

A melodrama is a story or play in which there are a lot of exciting or sad events and in
which peoples emotions are very exaggerated.

PARCE
a comic dramatic piece that uses highly improbable situations. stereotyped characters,
extravagant exaggeration, and violent horseplay. The term also refers to the class or
form of drama made up of such compositions.

SOCIAL TALE
A social story is a written narrative with accompanying pictures, made to illustrate
certain situations, problems and challenges, and how children can deal with them.

PERSPECTIVES. They can inspire us to take stands, to take action, and to think
